Sleeper Draft Fantasy GW15 – Best Punts and Hidden Gems

Joe Gomez

Draft Fantasy GW15 - Joe Gomez

With Konate ruled our for at least 4-5 more weeks, Gomez looks to be the first choice CB to partner Virgil Van Dijk having started the last 2 games at CB. Even though there is competition from Quansah going forward, think it is Gomez’s spot to lose at least for now.

Even after conceding 3 goals vs Newcastle, Liverpool are arguably the defensive side in the league right now- Least Goals Conceded, Least xGC and Most Clean Sheets(7) this season. Liverpool’s upcoming fixtures till New Year also look good- Everton(A), Fulham(H), Spurs(A), Leicester(A), West Ham(H). There is a sneaky chance to get a starting Liverpool Defender in your Draft Teams and you should make the best use of it- Be it Gomez or Quansah.

Despite scoring 4 goals vs Wolves, Everton are not a great attacking side ranking 18th for xG, 20th for Big Chances and 17th for Goals scored this season. With one of the best defensive sides in the league up against one of the worst attacking sides in the league, there is a waiting clean sheet ready to be picked up.

Mohammed Kudus

Draft Fantasy GW15 - Mohammed Kudus

Mohammed Kudus made his return from the 5 match suspension in the midweek 3-1 loss to Leicester City. With West Ham currently winning only one game in the last 5 matches and 14th on the table, the pressure is on Lopetegui to save the job. There are reports coming in that if he loses the Wolves, he would be sacked. So West Ham would go all out attack to get 3 points in this game.

West Ham are easily a better attacking side with Kudus in there. West Ham had an impressive 3.09 xG vs Leicester City and was unlucky just to score only one goal. Kudus had a good game with 3 Shots, 4 Chances created and 0.55 xGI.

West Ham with Kudus(GW1 to GW8) vs West Ham without Kudus(GW9 to GW13)- Per 90 stats:

  • xG- 1.37 vs 1.30
  • Big Chances- 2.38 vs 1.60
  • Shots- 15.12 vs 10.80
  • Goals- 1.38 vs 1.20

West Ham will be up against a Wolves who are arguably the worst defensive side in the league having conceded 4 goals to Everton over the weekend.

Wolves Defensive Rank this season:

  • xGC- 17th
  • Clean Sheets- 20th
  • Goals Concede- 20th

Curtis Jones

Draft Fantasy GW15 - Curtis Jones

Curtis Jones started midweek and get the important 1st goal and played 90 minutes in the 3-3 thrilling draw vs Newcastle. With Mac Allister getting his 5th yellow card and suspended vs Everton, Jones is very likely to get another start in GW15. Jones has the knack of getting attacking returns placing himself in good attacking positions. Jones has 2 goals, 2 assists from his last 5 starts in the Premier League. Jones has an impressive 0.26 xG/90 and 0.65 Big chances/90 since GW8.

He is an in-form player and getting a Liverpool attacker up against Everton side could work well in your Draft Fantasy GW15 Teams.

El Khannouss

Draft Fantasy GW15 - El Khannouss

Here is the Hidden Gems to Target in Draft Fantasy GW15 Teams- Bilal El Khannouss. The 20-year-old Morrocan youngster is rately highly. He was trusted by the new manager Ruud Van Nistelrooy for a start having just played 278 minutes this season from 13 games before. But he did not disappoint his new manager with a goal and an assist in the 3-1 win over West Ham. With the new manager getting a win on his debut, he is expected to back one of the players he trusted and give him a good run.

Bilal El Khannouss vs West Ham:

  • 74 minutes
  • 1 goal 1 assist
  • 29 passes 79% pass accuracy
  • 2/3 accurate long balls
  • 3 key passes 3 big chances created
  • 2/2 successful dribbles
  • 2 tackles
  • 3 interceptions
  • 5/10 duels won

Amad Diallo

Draft Fantasy GW15 - Amad

Amad Diallo looks to be an integral part of Amorin’s plans have played started and completed 90 minutes in 3 out of the last 4 matches. He also played 45 minutes vs Arsenal in the last match. His overall underlying numbers from the last 4 matches are also excellent- 8 Shots, 6 Chances created and 3 Big Chances created. In fact, no player has got more assists(4) than Diallo over the last 4 matches in the league.

Top Players for Fantasy Assists in Premier League over the last 4 matches:

  • Amad Diallo- 4
  • Bruno Fernandes- 4
  • Saka- 4
  • Enzo- 3
  • Pedro- 3
  • Evanilson- 3
  • Salah- 3

Ortega

Draft Fantasy GW15 - Ortega

Ortega has started the last 2 matches in Premier League after a drop in form from Ederson. He can be a slightly risky pick to consider as it is still not certain if he will continue to be first choice keeper. But in Sleeper Draft Fantasy you can pick and remove players up until kick offs even after seeing the line-ups. Manchester City showed signs of the old Manchester City keeping a clean sheet in the 3-0 vs Forest in GW14. Ortega also looked good making 3 saves in that game making a strong case for Pep to stick with Ortega.

The upcoming fixtures for Manchester City also looked good- Palace(A), Man United(H), Villa(A), Everton(H), Leicester City(A), West Ham(H), Brentford(A), Ipswich(A). Well the fixtures look good long term for Manchester City to go on a Manchester City-esque run. So why not jump on the bold Ortega pick and try out your luck.
