Sleeper Draft Fantasy GW12 – Best Punts and Hidden Gems

Lewis Hall

Draft Fantasy GW12- Hall

Lewis Hall is having his breakthrough season at Newcastle having started all of the last 6 matches in Premier League and completing 90 minutes in 5 of them. Newcastle have also improved defensively this season under Eddie Howe suggesting good clean sheet potential as well in the coming weeks where Newcastle fixtures read- WHU cry LIV bre LEI ips

Newcastle defense Rank over the last 6 Gameweeks- Despite playing Manchester City and Arsenal:

  • xGC- 3rd least
  • Big Chances Conceded– 5th least
  • Goals conceded- 2nd least

There is also good attacking threat with Hall going forward on the left side who has a good 0.16 xGI/90 this season. Hall is also on corner duty for Newcastle having taken 16 corners over the last 6 matches.

Estupinan

Draft Fantasy GW12- Estupinan

The reports emerging from the Turkish media is that Kadioglu is likely to be ruled out for 1-2 months. Hinshelwood is also carrying an injury which means that Estupinan’s minutes are more secure than before. Estupinan always loves bombing forward and has an outside the box screamer in him. Estupinan averages 0.34 Big Chances created for every 90 minutes along with an impressive xGI/90 of 0.17. He is also on set pieces and corners having taken 14 corners over the last 7 games.

Brighton have kept only 3 clean sheets this season from 11 games which may seem very low- But it is the joint 4th highest among all the teams. They have a better run of fixtures coming up from GW12 where there is likely to be more clean sheets- Bournemouth(A), Southampton(H), Fulham(A), Leicester(A), Palace(H), West Ham(A), Brentford(H)

Pedro Neto

Draft Fantasy GW12- Pedro Neto

Pedro Neto has started and played 90 minutes in the last 3 Premier Leagues. He also got the goal and looked impressive in the 1-1 draw vs Arsenal in GW11. Safe to say, he has almost displaced Sancho as the first choice at left wing right now. Neto’s ability to operate in both the wings improves his minutes potential and suggests that he is likely to start even when Sancho is fit.

Pedro Neto vs Arsenal:

  • Minutes played- 90
  • Shots- 3
  • xG- 0.06
  • Goals- 1
  • Chances created- 2
  • Big Chances created- 1
  • xA- 0.52
  • 4 Ball Recoveries
  • 2 Tackles

GW12 marks the start of an amazing fixture run for Chelsea starting with the entry point of fixture vs Leicester(A). Leicester are ranked 17th for Goals conceded, 18th for xGC, 19th for Big Chances Conceded this season. Don’t forget to make a move to get him in your Draft Fantasy GW12 teams if he is still on the free market.

Iwobi

Draft Fantasy GW12- Iwobi

Iwobi has 2 goals, 2 assists from 11 games this season which might not be mind-blowing numbers but has good underlying data and can be a good one week punt in your Draft Fantasy GW12 teams with a good matchup against Wolves.

Iwobi’s underlying data looks good with 0.27 xA/90, 0.57 Big Chances created/90 and 0.4 xGI/90. Only a handful of midfielders in the entire league have better xA/90 than Iwobi.

Top Midfielders for xA/90 this season:(Low minutes players excluded)

  • Savio- 0.47
  • Maddison- 0.45
  • Saka- 0.37
  • McNeil- 0.33
  • Son- 0.30
  • Iwobi– 0.27

Up against a Wolves side who have conceded the most goals in Premier League this season(27 goals conceded from 11 games), Iwobi should fancy his chances to get at least an attacking return in GW12.

Joao Pedro

Draft Fantasy GW12- Pedro

Joao Pedro made his return from injury in GW10 and got a goal, assist as a super sub in the 2-1 win over Manchester City. “Every team in the Premier League has this key player that makes a difference, and in our case, it’s Joao Pedro,” This was one of the quotes from Huzeler while talking Pedro back in September. This suggests his Pedro is very important to Brighton’s plans and his minutes should not be an issue even when returning from injury.

Pedro is also on penalties which makes him a even better Fantasy asset to own. Before his injury, In the three starts Pedro had, he got goals vs Arsenal and Manchester United. 5 appearances in the league this season and returns vs Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City is not bad for your Forward who is low owned in most of the Draft leagues.

Larsen

Draft Fantasy GW12- Larsen

Larsen is another Differential Forward pick to consider for the upcoming weeks with a good run of fixtures. Larsen has got 3 goals from the last 5 matches. With Wolves currently 19th on the table, they will surely need more goals from their No.9 to get out of the relegation zone.

Wolves have a good run of fixtures coming up- Fulham(A), Bournemouth(H), Everton(A), West Ham(A), Ipswich(H), Leicester(A). xGC Ranks of their 6 opponents read as 4th, 9th, 11th, 15th, 20th, 18th. Safe to say that their fixtures get better from here on.
