Sleeper Draft Fantasy GW6 – Best Punts and Hidden Gems

Evanilson

Evanlison hasn’t set the Premier League on fire yet. He has not got a goal/assist from four games but it is to be noted that he has played Liverpool, Chelsea and Newcastle in this time, missed a penalty and was just adapting to Premier League. His goal scoring record at Porto was amazing though.

The Brazilian international scored 25 goals and got 7 assists from 42 games playing for FC Porto last season. He also got 4 goals, 1 assist from 7 games in Champions League highlighting his quality against tougher oppositions- So he could be a good hold long term as well. Playing for a Bournemouth side who are really good at attack and with 2 kinder in the next 2 games vs Southampton and Leicester, it will be surely not too long till Evanlison gets off the mark in Premier League.

Bournemouth attack Rank in Premier League this season:

  • Shots- 3rd
  • Shots inside the box- 6th
  • xG- 5th

Fabio Carvalho

Carvalho completed his move from Liverpool to Bournemouth for a deal was worth up to 27.5 million pounds at the start of the season. However he made his first start only in GW5 vs Spurs after building up full fitness and Frank was full praise for him. Carvalho is an exciting young prospect who is hoping that this could be his breakthrough season with more consistent minutes.

Thomas Frank on Fabio Carvalho after the Spurs game: “His performance overall was good from a first Premier League start with us. I like that (performance) in a difficult away game. He will be even better in games where he’ll hopefully be a bit more on top. So, overall satisfied.”

The Bees have a good run of fixtures coming up as they have already played Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham in the first 5 games. They don’t play any of the Last season Top 6 sides over the next 8 weeks. So this could be a good time to hop on the Carvalho train!

Mykolenko

Everton have conceded 14 goals from the first 5 games but the truth to be told is that they have missed their key defender in Branthwaite and Mykolenko also missed the last 2 games due to illness. So it was not the first choice defenders playing for them. The latest update is that all of them are fully fit and training which is a good sign.

Everton also have only one point from the first 5 games and there is pressure on Dyche to get things back on track. Expect Dyche to put a turn around and good defensive performances with excellent fixtures coming up from a Everton side who get the Joint 2nd most Clean sheets(13) in Premier League last season. Their underlying numbers were also good as they were 4th best last season for Non-Penalty Expected Goals Conceded.

Georginio Rutter

Fabian Hurzeler earlier today mentioned that Joao Pedro still has some problems and wont be an option for the weekend. He also told he is not sure how long Pedro will be out for. This very likely confirms Rutter’s place in the side who has started the last 2 matches as well in Pedro’s absence. Rutter has good underlying data from the first 2 matches and was unlucky not to get a return. The fixtures are not great, but he can still be decent pick if you are running short of attackers in your team.

Rutter Stats from last 2 games:

  • Shots- 8
  • Shots inside the box- 5
  • Big chances- 1
  • xG- 0.73
  • Chances created- 3
  • xA- 0.15

Kepa

If you are looking for a Goal Keeper in your Draft teams and all the Popular ones are picked, Kepa can be a good option for a low rostered pick. He plays Leicester and Southampton in the next 2 games(Clean sheet potential) and the fixtures after that are difficult but it looks good for save points for Kepa. For context- Kepa made 15 saves combined from his last 2 matches and could have got a decent return in your Draft leagues despite Bournemouth conceding 5 goals from these 2 games.

Kluivert

Bournemouth play 2 promoted sides back-to-back(vs Southampton and Leicester) and their players are the ones in demand. If Semenyo, Tavernier and Evanlison are picked up by your mates already in your Draft leagues, You still need not worry- You can still get a piece of Bournemouth attack and a potential penalty taker. Kluivert has decent underlying data but looked good on eye test taking up good attacking positions.

This below quote from Iraola suggests that Kluivert also shares some of the penalty duties. With Evanlison missing the previous one, there are good chances Kluivert takes the next one.
