Welcome back to the GW2 captaincy metrics blog, the 24/25 FPL season got off to an interesting start with Mo Salah continuing his remarkable GW1 record with a goal & an assist vs Ipswich making him the only player to return in 9 consecutive GW1 fixtures. Isak who topped the captaincy metric last week was unfortunate to pick up only an assist after Schar was red-carded earlier in the game. The action now moves on to GW2 and the Top FPL Gameweek 2 Captain picks include Haaland, Salah, Isak, Solanke, and Foden. Let’s see who tops the very first captaincy metrics of the season.
Will it be Haaland or Salah or someone else?
This season the metrics has a 1/1 return record. Last season the metrics finished with 560 points(26/38 returns). The metrics had a 31/37 “returns record” in the 22/23 season and a 30/38 “returns record” in the 21/22 season. Do follow the man behind the metrics @AK_FPL1(Do follow him on Twitter)
Total metrics points: 5 points
Note: “Returns” ~ player topping the metrics getting points returns and not necessarily the highest scoring option of the week.
