Welcome to FPL PAZβs Transfer Targets and Watchlist, where I highlight the THREE best transfer targets in each position for the upcoming gameweeks. The goal is to give managers a watchlist for both the immediate gameweek and future gameweeks. All picks are analyzed with stats, fixtures, and current form. LETβS GET INTO IT:

FPL GW3 Transfer Targets
Ezri Konsa AVL Β£4.5
Projected Points GW3-8: 20.2
The Aston Villa fixture swing is upon us, and their assets should be in our watchlist. This includes Ezri Konsa who is the best defender to target going into GW3. Konsa is not a high-upside pick, as he only has two attacking returns in the last 2 seasons.
However, Konsa does provide you with security of minutes and is decent for bonus points. Moving forward, Aston Villa has the 6th easiest fixtures(Defensively) over the next six GWs, giving Konsa plenty of fixtures of rack up clean sheet points. With the minutes, risk failures such as Barco, Hall, Etc. it is important to revert back to the basic rule in FPL, which is to get nailed players with good fixtures, and Konsa will provide managers with that.
Do watch out for KostaΒ NedeljkoviΔ, the 4.0 Million Right back who was subbed in vs Arsenal after Cash was subbed off due to injury. If Cash is out for long then KostaΒ NedeljkoviΔ could be a great value option.
KostaΒ NedeljkoviΔ featured in all pre-season games ahead of the season and is rated highly by Emery & Villa fans.
Unai Emery on Konsa
Ezri Konsa βis comfortableβ playing at centre-back and now prefers playing either Matty Cash or Kosta Nedeljkovic βplaying in their positionβ due to changes in the build-up structure this season.
Morgan Rogers AVL Β£5.0
Projected Points GW3-8: 24.4
The Morgan Rogers bandwagon is full and running with two great performances and, more importantly, playing 90 minutes in the first two gameweeks. Rogers has been exceptional in the first two GWs, racking up a 0.5 xGI, but has been unlucky as the points have not come yet.
Moving forward, Rogers is a great pick as he has the 7th easiest fixture(Attacking wise) over the next six GWs and provides tons of value, given his cheap price. Many managers this GW are looking to see what they do with underperforming midfielders such as Bruno Fernandes and Nkunku, and Morgan Rogers provides managers with a player who has haul potential and opens up the funds to potentially get another heavy hitter like Palmer or Salah on your team.
Nicolas Jackson CHEΒ Β£7.5Β
Projected Points GW3-8: 28.5
Yep, the here we go again meme is playing in the background as Nicolas Jackson enters the list. Fresh off his 10-point haul against Wolves, Jackson deserves to be given some recognition as Chelsea fixtures are amazing in the upcoming GWs. Over the next six GWs, Chelsea has the 5th easiest fixtures.Β
Jackson has seen reduced minutes as he is improving his match fitness, but with this fixture, it is a punt worth taking. Jackson could be frustrating at times, given his below-average finishing leads to an underperformance of xG, but he also has haul potential as shown by the end of last season. There is a temptation to go for other, more obvious picks, but I was pleased by what I saw from Chelsea in GW2, which made Nicolas a prime candidate to put on the watchlist for the upcoming GWs.
Honorable Mention: Ollie Watkins AVL Β£9.0
