- Maresca on Palmer: “Cole did part of the session yesterday for the first time. Today, in the afternoon, we have a session and we are going to try with him, otherwise he will be out again. When he is available, we need to manage him, because of the amount of games”.
- Delap‘s hamstring injury in GW3 is a serious one and he will be a long-term absentee. Delap is expected to start training again in November and return to play soon after, ahead of the festive schedule.
- Maresca on Delap: “Liam (Delap) is out for around 10/12 weeks. It’s a long way to go.”
- George could be his direct replacement. However, Chelsea could play Joao Pedro/Neto up top and play Gittens in the team. Guiu is also an option.
- Maresca on striker options: “The only No.9 is Guiu and Joao can also play there. Against Fulham, we used Tyrique as a No.9, so we can also think about him.”

- Glasner on Wharton, Sarr and Nketiah: “At the moment it looks like Adam Wharton, Ismaïla Sarr and Eddie Nketiah are available at least against Liverpool, so in two weeks. That’s a great job from our medical department. “Tomorrow none of them are available. Millwall, none of them is available, maybe Adam and Eddie have a chance for West Ham(GW5).
- New signing Pino should replace the injured Sarr even though he missed out on the Spain squad due to an injury.
- Glasner on Pino: “We have 18 fit on-field players – and all the new signings will be in the squad tomorrow. There is a good chance that Yeremy [Pino] makes his starting debut for Crystal Palace tomorrow. “He just needed to rest during the international break. The first week of the international break he didn’t train. He had a small injury from his last game at Villarreal. But then he started preparing on Monday.”

- 4-3-3

Pickford
O’Brien – Tarkowski – Keane- Mykolenko
Gueye – Garner
Ndiaye – Dewsbury Hall – Grealish
Beto
Everton Injury News/Updates:
- Jarrad Branthwaite is still ruled out. “Jarrad is getting closer but he’s not quite there yet – but he’s certainly getting closer and hopefully we get him back because he’s a huge player for us”. “I’ve no idea [when he’ll be back], at the moment, but I think we’ll be a few weeks before we’re at that stage.”
- Ndiaye is an injury concern. If Ndiaye misses out, Alcaraz/McNeil should take his place.
- Moyes on Ndiaye: “We’ve got a concern about Ili Ndiaye – he’s got a knock, so we’ll need to see. We’re not sure how he’ll be for tomorrow.
- Mykolenko is a doubt. “Myko is around it. We’ll need to see whether he’s going to make it or not. Hopefully he might be okay. He had felt something in the game against Wolves and he’d made it known but he felt that he was fine to go to Ukraine, but once he got there he felt that maybe he wasn’t quite right so he came away from it.
- Beto vs Barry is always a 50/50 call but Beto should hold on to his place after getting on the scoresheet in GW3 vs Wolves.
- Adam Aznou (ankle) and Nathan Patterson (hernia) have now resumed full training. “[Aznou and Patterson] are both back in training. Patto has not had any football yet, so I wouldn’t put him down as sort of match-ready yet, but he’s been back now for the best part of a week or so. Young Adam [Aznou] got a game at Doncaster a week ago, so we’re just beginning to get them back in and amongst it. They’re back fit. Are they match-ready to play? I’m not 100 per cent sure.”

Bogle – Struijk – Rodon – Gudmundsson
Longstaff – Gruev- Stach

Leeds team news:
- Perri is ruled out for next 2 Gameweeks with an injury. Darlow should take his place.
- Farke on Perri: “One thing I can confirm is that Lucas Perri is definitely out of the game,”. “He reported after the last game that he had problems with his quad, we had a scan and there’s muscle strain and will definitely miss the next two games against Fulham and Wolves. Then after that we’ll see with more clarity when he’ll return.”
- Rodon and Sam Byram are fit and “are ready to go and available”
- Tanaka and Ampadu are both in team training and a late decision will be take on them. “Both since the beginning of this week have reintegrated and joined in major parts of team training,”. “Ethan(Ampadu) even more so than Ao(Tanaka), because he was slightly ahead in terms of schedule. We have 48 more hours to take a late decision with them, it’s possible we travel with both of them, just take one or neither to Fulham.”
- Both Nmecha and Piroe are doubts. “Lukas Nmecha got a hit on his foot and missed training yesterday,” . “Joel Piroe also got hit in his calf and has a big bruise. We’ll have to wait to see how he reacts in the next 48 hours.”
Liverpool
Liverpool GW4 Predicted Formation:
4-3-3
Liverpool GW4 Predicted lineup:
Alisson
Frimpong- Konate – Van Dijk – Kerkez
Szoboszlai – Gravenberch
Salah – Wirtz – Gakpo
Ekitike
Liverpool Team News and Key Notes:
- Frimpong is back in training. Alexander Isak also had his first Liverpool training session but it is unlikely that he starts right away as he may not be match fit. Isak only played as a substitute for Sweeden during the break due to the lack of match fitness.
- Arne Slot on Isak’s fitness(Via Liverpool Website):
“First of all I think the Swedish manager, Jon Dahl Tomasson, deserves a big, big, big compliment because he gets one of the best, maybe the best, striker in the world in and needs to play two very important games for his country but understands if he would play him twice for 90 minutes the player would have probably been injured for multiple weeks. That is not always easy for a manager, that he takes care of the interest of the player, so he deserves a big compliment for that and we will treat Alex the same as they did.
“So, don’t expect him every single game 90 minutes on the pitch – that’s definitely not going to happen in the upcoming weeks. He missed a proper pre-season, I think he missed three or four months of team sessions, so now we have to build him up gradually with us playing so many games and [having] very little training time. So, that’s going to a challenge but we’ve signed him not only for the upcoming two weeks, we’ve signed him, I think, for six years so this is what we have to keep in mind and what the fans have to keep in mind if they see that I take him off at a certain moment or I only bring him in for a small amount of minutes. That’s all for the long-term fitness of the player.”
- Curtis Jones is ruled out of the Burnley game due to an injury.
Manchester City
Man City GW4 Predicted formation
- 4-2-3-1
Man City GW4 Predicted lineup:
Trafford
Lewis – Dias – Khusanov – Gvardiol
Silva- Rodri – Reijnders
Bobb – Haaland – Doku
Man City Notes/Injury Update:
- Marmoush suffered an injury while playing for Egypt and is ruled out for the Manchester Derby in GW4. Further scans should reveal the extent of the injury.
- Pep on Marmoush: “He has to make the last tests, but a few weeks I think. Before or after the [next] international break he’ll be ready…”

- Donnarumma/Trafford will be a tricky call, but our guess is that Pep will stick with Trafford at least for now.
- Pep when asked if Donnarumma will start: “We’ll see…”
- Cherki is ruled out for 2 months with an injury. Rayan Ait Nouri will also the derby vs Manchester United due to an injury
- John Stones has left the England camp with a minor muscular injury. He has withdrawn as a precautionary measure.
- Pep on Stones: “John Stones as well is a doubt. “[It’s] not a big issue, but he’s a doubt for Sunday.”
- Lewis/Nunes is a 50/50 call. Our guess is that Lewis will play this game.
- Pep did not mention about Foden/Gvardiol in the injuries section, so he they must make the squad. Foden and Gvardiol also trained with the team.

- 3-4-2-1
Man United GW4 Predicted lineup:

Yorro – De Ligt – Shaw

Mbeumo – Zirkzee
Sesko
Man United Notes/Injury Update:
- Cunha was injured against Burnley and was taken off after just 30 minutes. Cunha, Mount and Dalot are all ruled out the Manchester Derby in GW4.
- Amorin speaking about Cunha, Mount and Dalot: “I think they are out for this game,” “I don’t know how long it is going to take. We need those players to be a very, very competitive team, but we have very good players that are eager to play, so we will be competitive on Sunday, but they are out, they cannot help us in this game. “I don’t want to say [how long they will be out]. If you talk with Cunha, if you catch Cunha outside, he will say he can play this game! So I don’t know. We will manage day by day, but they are pushing hard and that is a good thing.”
- Amorin also confirmed that Bayindir will be in goal for GW4.
- Amorin on Bayindir: “I believe in Altay,” He is ready to play and he is going to play.”
- We are predicting Sesko and Zirkzee to replace Mount and Cunha. But there are chances that Maino plays ahead of Sesko/Zirkzee and Bruno takes the more attacking position.

- Howe confirmed that Wissa won’t be fit to play in GW4 vs Wolves(H).
- Howe on Wissa: “Unfortunately he won’t make this game. I saw him for the first time yesterday and he’s feeling the effects of the injury sustained just before he came off [while on international duty]. We’re going to have to see how he is.”

- Woltemade is expected to start in GW4 as per this quote from Howe.
- Howe on Woltemade: “He’s fine [for Wolves]. He’s trained well and we’re really pleased with how he’s looked in the first couple of days. Big change for him, big opportunity for him. We’re really pleased with how he’s settled in.”
- Jacob Ramsey will be out until next international break(one month) due to an injury.
- Joelinton is fit and available. Howe on Joelinton: “Joe has trained. He’s been fit and available, he’s been out on the training pitch and is looking good. Really happy to welcome him back, such an important player.”
- Newcastle opted for a surprising five at the back vs Leeds in GW3, and also both Barnes and Elanga were benched. It did not work out well, and the game ended 0-0. They should return to four at the back.

Xavi, for natural reasons, is further down the line. He just started the first game for Holland and played a few games for Leipzig”. “Definitely in terms of Randal, it’s been a while since he’s played. Last time was in the Club World Cup. Hasn’t trained really with PSG. So he is not as fit as Xavi, but he looks good”
- We expect Simmons to be in the lineup right away. If he is not match fit yet, Sarr should hold on to his place.
- Solanke is ruled out for GW4.
