Euro Fantasy MD6 Team Reveal and Transfer Plans
MD5 Review:
- Overall Rank: 1018

Matchday 6 Team Reveal and Strategy:
- The plan is to have a minimum of 3 players from every team so that I can surely get to 11 players for the finals with 5 Free Transfers irrespective of who reaches the finals. Using 4 Free Transfers for MD6, I can get to 14 starting players for MD6 which is more than enough.
- We wouldn’t recommend taking hits in this form of Fantasy(and this late) as it is difficult to catchup points and make it work.

MD6 Transfer Plans and Key Notes:
- Before making the transfers, Mbappe is the only France player in my team. So to go with the above mentioned strategy of having atleast 3 players from a single team, The first two transfers will be spent on France assets. France have not scored a single goal from open play so far and it doesn’t make much sense to get an attacker. French defense have been solid and all the France defenders- Kounde, Saliba, Upamecano are all ball recovery monsters as well. So the combination of Highest scoring Defender(Kounde) and Highest scoring GK(Maignan) make the cut!
- Guehi is the next transfer in to complete the England triple up. If we gets news that Guehi does not start, I will replace him with Stones. Guehi has the most Ball recoveries(37) in the game despite missing Quarter finals due to suspension.
- The final transfer was a very close call between Rodri and Saka. Saka looked in great touch in Quarter finals and is the more explosive pick. On the other hand, Rodri is a simple and good pick with Ball recoveries potential. Rodri had 14 ball recoveries from 120 minutes vs Germany in MD5. From just 4 games, Rodri has 29 Ball recoveries averaging more than 7 ball recoveries/game.
- Rodri has the tendency to rise up in clutch moments- Attacking return, Man of the match potential. So Rodri edges it right now but it could change as well close to the deadline.
Other options that I am considering(Ranked) for MD6:
- Stones(only if we get news that Guehi is not starting)
- Saka
- Kane
- Olmo
- Yamal
- Depay

Captaincy:
- Day 1: With most teams similar at this stage of the tournament, the plan is to go for a slightly Differential captain choice in Laporte who is just 5% owned. Laporte has an massive 6.78 ball recoveries/90 minutes which suggests you are likely to get a minimum of two extra points. There is good clean sheet chances as well with France not having scored from open play so far. If you get lucky, you can get an attacking return/man of the match as well. Rodri is the alternate captain choice.
- Day 2: Day 2 Captaincy will be wide open but it is again likely to be a Defender/Rice. Guehi, Rice and Van Dijk are the possible options who will be fighting for the armband in case Day 1 Captaincy fails.
