- Aston Villa: Tyrone Mings and Emi Buendia are out, Bertrand Traore is out. Youri Tielemans is out, Pau Torres is out tomorrow as well, as is Boubacar Kamara with the red card, he is suspended. The other players are ready. They trained this morning and they are going to be available for tomorrow.”
Bournemouth: This week probably I cannot be as clear as normally with you because still we have two days [of training]. We have some knocks, some small issues. Probably I cannot tell you like other weeks that I tell you: ‘This will be the squad’. Two or three players [out] with no big injuries. We are waiting for some assessments and I hope everyone who was ready for Luton is ready for Forest. [Hamed Traore] will not [be fit], still taking more time than we expected, his recovery - Brighton: RDZ says Veltman is facing two months out. Welbeck is not ready to start but potentially has an important role to play off the bench.
- Sheffield United: Chris Wilder mentioned that his team has got a ‘few issues’ ahead of the game at Aston Villa on Friday night. Jack Robinson is available again after serving a one-match ban.
- Crystal Palace: Joel Ward, as I think everyone knows, picked up an injury, unfortunately, last weekend,” Hodgson confirmed. “He’s had a scan, so we will be missing him for a while
- Lerma has made much quicker progress than expected, and Ebere Eze is coming on very well too.

- Johnstone– Ruled out for GW18, May come back for GW19. “This game(vs Brighton in GW18) certainly is too early but I’m certain he’ll be working between this game and the Chelsea game (GW19) to try to get back on the field, compete and try to get his place back in the team.”
