We are back for yet another Champions League week after a short break which means we are back for yet another UCL Fantasy Differentials MD5 blog.
But first, as always I would like to thank everyone who gives my blog a read, I am really humbled and grateful for all the love and support the UCL Fantasy MD Differential blogs have got so far.
I love putting in the research and trying my best to give you readers a unique perspective when it comes to playing the #UCLFantasy game.
Now let’s focus on today’s topic: UCL Fantasy Differentials MD5.
In this article, I will talk about the best UCL Fantasy MD5 Differentials with less than 10% ownership and hopefully unearth some hidden gems who will help propel your teams to get those massive returns and rank boosts in MD5.
As mentioned in my tweet, I didn’t do a blog for MD4 as it was the same fixtures as MD3.
Looking forward to MD5 there are some notably good match-ups to target, In my opinion on paper, the Inter Milan vs Plzeñ & PSG vs Maccabi Haifa can be a great source of points.

UCL Fantasy MD5 Differentials (<10% TSB)
Giovanni Di Lorenzo~Napoli, 5.1M, TSB: 9%
Napoli have been one of the best if not the best team this season so far, they have excelled both in attack and defence.
Giovanni Di Lorenzo is the starting RB/RWB who has amassed 32 ball recoveries, 1xG and 1 POTM so far in UCL Fantasy.
Di Lorenzo is still only 9% owned and at 5.1M looks to be one of the best DEF options for MD5.
If you have a defensive transfer to make, then he should be a priority.

Nicolò Barella~Inter Milan, 6.5M, TSB: 2%
Staying in Italy and Serie A, Inter Milan are another team who can virtually ensure qualification with a win vs Plzeñ in MD5.
Nicolò Barella is a player who looks to be in form with 4xG and 4xA in 11 Serie A games.
In MD4 Barella scored a goal, got 6 ball recoveries and POTM which gave him 12 pts which was one of the top scores in MD4.
At just 6.5M and 2% ownership, Barella looks like the best cheap way into that Inter Milan midfield.
Rodrygo~Real Madrid, 8M, TSB: 3%
Rodrygo looks set to get yet another start in UCL Fantasy and in my opinion he can get a bagful of pts in MD5.
So far in La Liga, in 7 starts Rodrygo has 4xG and 4xA at an xG of 3.8 and xA of 2.6, per 90 mins he has xG+xA of 0.88 which means whenever he starts, a return is likely.
RB Leipzig don’t look in the best of form and Rodrygo can capitalise in MD5.
He is only owned by 3% managers and costs 8M and he could serve you well in MD5.

Lionel Messi~PSG, 10.5M, TSB: 9%
It’s not everyday that you can say one of the best players to play this beautiful game can come in as a differential pick in UCL Fantasy, but here we are.
Lionel Messi just makes the cut as he is still only 9% owned and with PSG playing Maccabi Haifa, there are definitely points to be had in MD5.
His league form of 6xG and 9xA at an xG of 6.5 and xA of 4.5 in 11 starts is testament to his form of late.
He will cost you around 10.5M but for MD5 with the likes Mbappe and Neymar set to start, PSG can cause a havoc for Haifa and Messi should be at the centre of it.
Giancomo Raspadori~Napoli, 7.1M, TSB: 3%
To finish off MD5’s Differential blog, let’s head back to Italy and Napoli, I couldn’t finish this blog without mentioning a Napoli attacker.
Giancomo Raspadori is made a roaring start to his life in Naples after getting his transfer from Sassuolo this year.
In UCL so far, in 126 mins played, Raspadori has 4xG and 1xA at an xG of 2.86, he was rested during the weekend and he is set to start ahead of Oshimen in MD5 vs Rangers.
Napoli have scored a total of 17 goals in 4 UCL games and it looks set to continue when Rangers come visit them in MD5.
Raspadori is only 3% owned and at just 7.1M, he could be a really good mid priced FWD differential to own in MD5.
