FPL GW7 Fixtures & Players To Target
Brighton vs. Bournemouth
Bookie Odds Total Goals: 2.5
Brighton Team Analysis Notes
- Generating most of their chances down the right flank, making players like Trossard and Estupinan shine when they get starts.
- Defensively still one of the best in the league as they are conceding the 4th fewest xGC and tied for the 2nd least goals conceded.Β
- Pascal GroΓ is still taking up good positions and playing far up the pitch.Β
- Bournemouth concedes most of their chances from Midfielders making late runs suiting players like Mac Allister and Caicedo.
- Bournemouth is almost nonexistent offensively, creating most of the chances via crosses which the Brighton back three need to deal with to maintain a clean sheet.Β Β

Bournemouth Team Analysis Notes
- Offensively, Bournemouth feeds balls into Solanke, making him the only fantasy option.
- Defensively, Bournemouth is conceding the 5th most xGC and most Goals conceded.
- Most of their chances conceded are down the middle making the midfielders from Brighton great fantasy options.
Players To Target in FPL GW7 from the Brighton vs. Bournemouth Fixture (Ranked):
- Leandro Trossard BHA Β£6.5
- Pascal GroΓ BHA Β£6.0
- Robert Sanchez BHA Β£4.7
- Lewis Dunk BHA Β£4.6
- Alexis Mac Allister BHA Β£5.5
Leicester City vs. Aston Villa
Bookie Odds Total Goals: 2.5
Leicester City Team Analysis Notes
- Offensively, Leicester City does not look the same as last season; they are looking toothless with the 3rd fewest xG but somehow always find a way to score.
- Most of their chances (the few ones they do create) are created by James Maddison down the middle.
- Defensively, they cannot be trusted, allowing the 3rd most xGC and their defensive assets not offering much-attacking threat.
- Most of their defensive woes come from the right flank, where they concede most of their chances, making a player like Leon Bailey interesting.
- Given Aston Villa allow the 7th most xGC, Leicester attackers such as Maddison could be on for a field day.
Aston Villa Team Analysis Notes
- Similar to Leicester, Aston Villa is not producing much offensively (2nd fewest xG), but they play a Leicester defense that allows the 3rd most xGC.
- Most of their chances are created down the right flank when Digne and midfielders like Coutinho/Buendia drop to that side.
- Defensively, Aston Villa allows the 7th most xGC, 3rd most goals conceded and keeping no clean sheets in the process.
- Overall, managers should avoid all defensive options from this game, but an offensive player could be an excellent punt with a massive upside, given how bad these defenses are.
Players To Target in FPL GW7 from the Leicester City vs. Aston Villa Fixture (Ranked):
- James Maddison LEI Β£7.9
- Ollie Watkins AVL Β£7.3
- Leon Bailey AVL Β£4.7
- Harvey Barnes LEI Β£6.9
- Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall LEI Β£5.0
Leeds United vs. Nottingham Forest
Bookie Odds Total Goals: 2.5
Leeds United Team Analysis Notes
- A home matchup against Nottingham Forestβs bad defense makes Leeds attacking assets players to target in GW7.
- Offensively, the exciting pick is Luis Sinnisterra, who has scored two goals in the last two league games.
- Most of Leedsβ chances come down the left side, making players like Harrison easy holds despite him being yanked at halftime in GW6.
- Defensively, all of Leedsβ assets are avoids as they concede the 8th most xGC and tied for the 3rd most goals.
- Targeting Leeds players is ideal for managers looking at a GW8 WC as their fixtures get more difficult after GW8.
Nottingham Forest Team Analysis Notes
- Nottingham Forest has not provided much offensive nor defensively, but a fixture against a Leeds side that just conceded five goals is hard to ignore.
- From their offensive assets, new signings Gibbs-White and Jesse Lingard are the ones providing the most creativity and fantasy upside.
- Defensively, Neco Williams is the only asset worth starting, given that he ranks 3rd amongst defenders for xGI.
- Leeds concedes most of their chances down the middle making new signing Gibbs-White really appealing.
- Overall, given how bad defensively these teams are, managers going for a one-week punt before their WC should look at this fixture.
Players To Target in FPL GW7 from the Leeds United vs. Nottingham Forest Fixture (Ranked):
- Luis Sinisterra LEE Β£6.5
- Morgan Gibbs-White NFO Β£5.5
- Jack Harrison LEE Β£6.2
- Neco Williams NFO Β£4.1
- Jesse Lingard NFO 5.8
