After the longest Gameweek ever, we are back to doing business. Last week’s pick Josh King disappointed and only returned a mere 3 points from 2 games, showing just how bad it is to put the captaincy on a player whose team are fighting relegation quite hard. Let’s move on and jump on to our FPL Gameweek 24 Captain Picks analysis.
Link to all our FPL Gameweek 24 blogs. Our blogs cover a wide range of topics including the best wildcard team, chip strategy, Watford Analysis, differentials, and more. Full credits to @AK_FPL1 for managing to update the tables in record time based on popular demand.

In the Fifth and Final Phase of the article, I have aggregated the Ranks derived above to pull out the Cumulative Rank Factor (CRF). The Candidate having the lowest Cumulative Rank Factor is the most ideal Captaincy Option according to this metric.
Mohammed Salah comes out on top with a CRF Value of 8.
Kevin DeBruyne with a CRF value of 10 just about gets beaten to second by the Egyptian.
Tottenham’s Harry Kane comes in third with a CRF value of 11 as Joao Cancelo comes fourth with a CRF value of 12.
Jarrod Bowen finishes dead last, with a CRF value of 17 to round up our captaincy picks for GW24.
*Author’s note: It’s difficult to see Salah starting the game against Leicester, as he has played 4 games in the last 11 days, with 3 of them going to extra time (120 minutes) and then penalties. We advise you to go with the second pick for the same reason, that is Kevin De Bruyne for Gameweek 24.
Scenario Two with Jota Included and Salah Excluded
After the uncertain news of whether Salah will play the game vs Leicester, Jota has entered the top five in our poll and has pushed out Salah out to sixth in our poll. So now we have updated the tables based on the top five in our poll ~ Jota, KDB, Kane, Cancelo and Bowen. KDB tops it in the absence of Salah and Jota is just close behind in second. Full credits to @AK_FPL1 for managing to update the tables in record time based on popular demand. Please do follow him if you haven’t already!
For people who asked us to add TAA, Son, Salah and Jota together, we are sorry that we couldn’t do custom tables for you as the effort and time required was high. But we do have a solution for the same in the coming weeks, stay tuned!
