Southampton FPL Notes:

FPL GW11 Review ~ Another cleansheet for Tino Livramento and Southampton
Another cleansheet for Tino Livramento and Southampton
  • 5th clean sheet of the season
  • 3rd win of the season; all have been the same scoreline (1-0)
  • McCarthy is now the 2nd highest GK in FPL (47 pts); in my watchlist
  • FPL Cue: Livra & McCarthy (28 saves; tied with DDG & 1 more than Mendy)

Aston Villa FPL Notes:

  • Martinez (44 pts) & Cash (39 pts) are the Top 2 FPL assets for AVL
  • AVL has fallen off the cliff post their 1-0 away victory at Old Trafford
  • Have lost 5 games on the trot
  • Huge pressure on Dean Smith; currently sitting bottom of the table

MUN FPL Notes:

  • 17 goals conceded (5th worst; tied with Burnley & Leeds)
  • 3rd loss at home already this season; 7/18 points
  • 14 goals scored in last 9
  • FPL Cue: With Watford next and a better away form, Greenwood could be a differential

MCi FPL Notes:

FPL GW11 Review ~ Double assist for Cancelo
Double assist for Cancelo
  • Best defensive unit comfortably with a season xGC of 7.46
  • Only 6 goals conceded (2 vs LIV)
  • Cancelo’s 4th assist (2 vs MU, 1 each vs LEI & CHE)
  • FPL Cue: Double MCI def. over double CHE def.

BRE FPL Notes:

  • Four defeats on the bounce now
  • 4/5 defeats at home
  • Toney 2G in 11; Mbeumo with 0 GI in last 236 mins
  • Defensive injuries to Raya (GK) and Jorgensen (CB) haven’t helped
  • FPL Cue: BRE’s attacking numbers remain impressive but Toney & Mbeumo’s non-involvement in recent goals aint good news. Exposure to Mbeumo is enough

NOR FPL Notes:

  • 5G in 11; 3 in last 2 (LEE & bre)
  • Pukki with 3G
  • Next 3 fixtures critical for survival
  • FPL Cue: Pukki (5.9m) & Krul (4.5m) with 23% of team’s FPL points. Better assets at these price points

Chelsea vs Burnley

Talking PointsCHO was the most advanced CHE asset (xGI: 1.04); 3 BCC Havertz with the highest xG: 0.70. Should have scored another goalReece James with an assist (xA: 0.38) and 1 BCCMount coming in as a sub in 85’70 long balls vs CHE’s 58Defence over-performed with an xGC: 2.28 and 1 GC2 diving saves from PopeVydra with the highest xG: 0.67Wood subbed-out for Rodriguez in 61’

CHE FPL Notes:

  • 4 GC for the season(best)
  • xGC: 11.79(5th best)
  • Havertz (8.1m) now with 1G 1A in 2 games
  • James’s confidence levels look supremely higher than Chilwell’s (eye test)
  • FPL Cue: Still feel double-up of Chilwell + James is not a value proposition

BUR FPL Notes:

  • 7th best xG in last 2; 15th best xG for the season
  • Last 6 (incl MCI,CHE & LEI): Only 1 loss, 1 clean sheet & 8 goals scored
  • FPL Cue: Lowton(4.4m) & Cornet(6m) could be looked at considering their price-points have many options available and these 2 could prove to be differentials coz of low ownership

CRY FPL Notes:

FPL GW11 Review ~ Gallagher amongst the goals once again
Gallagher amongst the goals once again
  • Guaita with an approx average saves of 2.9 per game
  • 4 clean sheets (BRE,TOT,mci,WOL)
  • 4G 4A for Gallagher (875 mins) & 4G 1A for Zaha (824 mins)
  • FPL Cue: Zaha (6.9m) looks a different player under Vieira; less frustrated; more of a team player. Is on Penalties as well.

WOL FPL Notes:

  • 7th best xG and 9th best xGC for the season
  • 1st loss in 6
  • One of their worst performances of the season. IB couldn’t have come at a better time for them
  • Jiminez (7.7m) has blanked 7/11 times
  • FPL Cue: Hwang (5.8m) is only 5 pts behind Jiminez with 300 less mins in the bag

BHA FPL Notes:

  • Trossard’s contribution (11.4%) is the highest towards team’s FPL pts; 3G 1A
  • Maupay has only played 81 mins in last 3
  • Only 2 losses in 11; same as MCI
  • Haven’t lost an away game yet; play AVL next
  • FPL Cue: Lamptey (4.4) looks super-lively & attacking. Can be rotated with Livramento from the bench. Still better prospects available than Trossard (6.4m) at the price-point

NEW FPL Notes:

  • Eddie Howe to take charge from GW12 onwards
  • FPL Cue: Good set of fixtures coming up to look at Wilson (7.3m) & Ritchie (4.9m) considering Howe did wonders with these two at Bournemouth
