Players to Buy ahead of FPL GW10

Ben Chilwell

FPL GW10 Analysis ~ Players to Buy ~ Ben Chilwell

Chilwell has been the most transferred in defender ahead of game-week 10, so far 346418 new managers has opted for his services, he is only found in 12.5% of teams, a figure, that, will surely rise as we approach game-week 10.

His returns include 8, 15 and 12 points respectively, in the last three games, scoring a goal in each. In 270 minutes of PL action, Ben, averages 68 minutes per chance created, 38.6 minutes per goal attempt with a shot accuracy of 71.4% and goal conversion of 42.9%, not forgetting his 2 cleans for good measure! It seems like a no brainer to jump on the Chilly bandwagon.

Mason Mount

FPL GW10 Analysis ~ Players to Buy ~ Mason Mount

Priced at £7.5 there is undoubtedly no better time than now to bring in the Chelsea attacking midfielder, fresh from scoring a hat-trick in his last outing against Norwich and returning a whopping 24 points for his owners. With transfers in predicted to cross over 500000 by the start of game-week 10, Mount is currently in 14.1% of FPL Squads.

In game-week 9, Mason registered 5 shots, 4 of which were on target, scoring 3 goals. He created 3 chances and registered 1 assist. With Lukaku and Werner out injured, Mount will play a pivotal role in Chelsea’s attack, expect him to create and score more during Chelsea’s green patch of fixtures. According to FPL’s FDR, 5 of the next 9 fixtures rank below 2.

Players to hold ahead of FPL GW10

Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro

FPL GW10 Analysis ~ Players to hold ~ Ronaldo

Ronaldo and Manchester United were humiliated in their last PL fixture against Liverpool, losing 0-5. They face a Spurs team next who has been inconsistent and unpredictable this season. I expect a positive response from the Red Devils, history has shown us that Ronaldo performs well under pressure and relishes pressure situations.

If Manchester United are to give their heart-broken fans the response they deserve, there is none better forward than Ronaldo to deliver, he has the record for the most goals (137) and assists (42) respectively in the UEFA Champions League, the most international goals (115) and has a record 795 senior goals for club and country. Arguably the greatest footballer of all time, he will not take that humiliation lightly.

Ismaila Sarr

FPL GW10 Analysis ~ Players to hold ~ Sarr

With heavily owned assets such as Vardy (30.6%) and Raphinha (19.8%) being flagged for game-week 10, one might have bigger fires in their FPL Squads to put out than transferring out Ismaila Sarr. He tops the FPL points tally amongst all Watford players, registering 4 goals thus far.

Sarr has had 22 goal attempts, averaging 35.6 minutes per attempt and has created 10 chances for his fellow team-mates thus far. While he faces a Southampton team that has improved defensively, they did concede two goals against a goal shy Burnley team. I strongly recommend keeping Sarr for the Hornets’ next fixture at least, while attending to more important transfer decisions.

Players to sell ahead of FPL GW10

Luke Shaw

FPL GW10 Analysis ~ Players to sell ~ Shaw

The most disappointing FPL asset of the season so far, after 753 minutes of PL action, featuring in all 9 fixtures thus far, starting and playing the full 90 mins in 8/9, Shaw has managed to return a measly 19 points, which comprises 1 assist and 1 clean sheet. Tsimikas, who has only featured in 4 matches has 24 points, 5 more than Shaw.

With worrying returns like those, no wonder why 2959188 of FPL managers are parting ways with the Manchester United defender, alarmingly enough he is still found in 22.8% of FPL squads. The Red Devils face Spurs and Man City in the next two, so if you’re looking for clean sheets and attacking returns the statistics suggest you should look elsewhere.

Saïd Benrahma

FPL GW10 Analysis ~ Players to sell ~ benrahma

Benrahma was a player I touted to do well in pre-season content and he came good during the first 5 game-weeks, returning 39 points which included 3 goals and 2 assists. However, in the last 4 fixtures, he has played 350 minutes and hasn’t returned a solitary goal or assist.

West Ham fixtures toughen, in the next 6 they face only 1 team with an FPL’s FDR of 2 and will face LIV (H), MCI (A) and CHE (H) during this run. It may be the time to shift from Benny, to an in-form midfielder with better fixtures going forward.
