UCL Fantasy | MD2 | Differentials To Consider Ahead Of Tuesday’s Deadline

UCL Fantasy Differentials MD 2

Firstly, I would you thank you, readers, for being back, I really appreciate the love and support being given to my UCL articles. I love putting in the research and try my best to give you readers a unique perspective when it comes to playing the #UCLFantasy game which we all love and adore. Now let’s focus on today’s topic: UCL Fantasy MD2 Differentials.

In this article, I will talk about the best UCL Fantasy MD2 Differentials try and find gems that may help you propel your teams to get those massive returns and rank boosts.

MD1 of UCL Fantasy saw quite a few differentials doing very well, the likes of Sebastien Haller 8.5M and Christopher Nkunku 7.5M scored 21pts & 20pts respectively. Looking forward to MD2 there are some notably good match-ups to target, In my opinion on paper, the Atalanta vs Young Boys and Real Madrid vs Sheriff can be absolute goal fests.

UCL Fantasy MD2 Differentials (<10% TSB)

Robin Gosens~Atalanta, 5.5M, TSB : 6%

Differentials ~Robin Gosens~Atalanta
MD1: 8 pts
Differentials ~Robin Gosens~Atalanta

Robin Gosens has been a revelation for Atalanta since he joined them back in 2017. In this modern age of attacking full-backs, Gosens fits right into that mix and is always bombing forward into the box to support the forwards. In Serie A so far he has a goal with an xG of 1.5. Last season in Serie A Gosens had a staggering 17(11xG, 6xA) goal contributions.

In MD 1 Gosens has already got a goal in the 2-2 draw against Villarreal with an npxG of 0.7. He will be up against Young Boys in MD2 and I won’t be surprised if he ends up getting a goal or assist in that game as well.

Robin Gosens is still only 6% owned in the UCL Fantasy game and hence can prove a great UCL Fantasy MD2 Differential moving forward.

Noussair Mazraoui~Ajax, 4.5M, TSB: 4%

UCL Fantasy MD 2 Differentials ~Noussair Mazraoui~Ajax
MD1: 6 pts

If you already did read my Ajax preview article you would find that I had already bigged up Mazraoui for big things in UCL Fantasy. He has been on fire in the Eredivisie this season, In 7 games he already has 4 goals and 2 assists which is insane give that he is a defender after all.

In MD1 also, Mazraoui provided an assist in Ajax’s 5-1 thumping of Sporting Lisbon. He had an xA of 0.6 in that game and he could easily have had more goal contributions.

Mazraoui is still only 4% owned in the game and at 4.5M he should definitely be on your transfer radar if you don’t already own him. He is the perfect UCL Fantasy MD2 Differential.

Other notable mentions in DEF are : Thomas Meunier 5M, Theo Hernandez 5.5M, Dayot Upamencano 5.5M

Sadio Mane~Liverpool, 10M, TSB: 1%

UCL Fantasy MD 2 Differentials ~Sadio Mane~Liverpool
Mane will be looking to get back to form vs Porto

Sadio Mane is probably my ultimate differential with only 1% ownership in the UCL Fantasy game. It does make sense given that most managers would prefer Mo Salah instead, but hear me out, Mane already has 4xG and 1xA vs Porto in the Champions League. I am sure we all remember the terrific hattrick he scored vs Porto in the 18/19 season.

He hasn’t had the brightest of starts in the Premier League this season with the only 3xG in 6 games with an xG of 4.7 which says that he should have had more.

In my opinion, if you are using your Limitless or Wildcard in the MD2 make sure you at least consider Sadio Mane as an option as he’s only 1% owned. If he hauls it will only help you gain rank that much faster.

Christopher Nkunku~RB Leipzig, 7.5M, TSB: 4%

UCL Fantasy MD 2 Differentials ~Christopher Nkunku~RB Leipzig
MD1 : 20pts

Let’s all be truthful here, nobody in the world would have expected Nkunku to get a hattrick vs Man City at the Etihad on MD1, but that’s football. In the Bundesliga, Nkunku has 2xG and 1xA in 6 games with an xG of 2.2.

In MD2 Leipzig will be playing Club Brugge at home and that’s the reason I have gone with Nkunku as one of my Differential picks as he’s still only 4% owned in UCL Fantasy, which is surprising given his exploits in MD1. Unlike Mane, Nkunku is only 7.5M and that should make it easier to fit him into your squads before the deadline on Tuesday evening.

Leroy Sane~Bayern Munich, 9M, TSB: 2%

UCL Fantasy MD 2 Differentials ~Leroy Sane~Bayern Munich
MD1: 7pts

Leroy Sane has taken his time to settle in at Bayern Munich after his mega transfer from Man City in 2020. Now he’s slowly but surely starting to show the form which we were so accustomed to at Man City.

In the 6 games he’s played so far in the Bundesliga he’s had 2xG & 3xA with an xG & xA of 1.8 and 1.5 respectively. In the MD1 game against Barcelona, he managed to grab an assist. With the MD 2 fixture vs Dynamo Kyiv at home, Sane sure does look like someone who can get a good haul of points.

Sane should start the game as both Coman and Gnabry are injured at the moment and hence Sane can be one of the better UCL Fantasy MD2 Differentials to own.

Other notable mentions in MID are Ruslan Malinovskyi 7.5M, Hakan Calhanoglu 8.5M

Sebastien Haller~Ajax, 8.5M, TSB: 6%

UCL Fantasy MD 2 Differentials ~Sebastien Haller~Ajax
MD1: 21Pts

Sebastien Haller was the highlight of MD1 in UCL Fantasy with his 4xG against a hapless Sporting CP team. Haller has been in the form of his life in the Eredivisie as well. He has already racked up 5xG and 2xA in 7 games. It clearly gives you an idea that he’s going to be the main man for Ajax this season.

I expect his goal-scoring form to continue in MD2 when Ajax play Besiktas at home. He is still only 6% owned in UCL Fantasy. I expect that to increase quite a bit if he puts in another great performance in MD2.

Lautaro Martinez~Internazionale, 10M, TSB: 1%

UCL Fantasy MD 2 Differentials ~Lautaro Martinez~Inter Milan
Can Lautaro Martinez inspire Inter Milan to a win in MD2?

Inter Milan will be looking to get back to winning ways after their unlucky 1-0 loss to Real Madrid in MD1. Lautaro Martinez will be at the center of it, if they want to win and progress further in the Champions League this year.

Martinez has shown decent form in Serie A so far with 4xG in 5 games at an xG of 3.4. He will be looking to get on the scoresheet when Inter play Shakthar Donetsk in MD2.

Other notable mentions in Attack for UCL Fantasy MD2 Differentials are: Artem Dzyuba 8M, Duvan Zapata 9.5M, Memphis Depay 8.5M
