GW33+ turned to be disastrous for managers who did not captain a Man United asset with other popular options including the likes of KDB, Mahrez, Salah all providing minimal or zero returns. But with deadlines coming up thick and fast and with very little time for a turn around of fortunes, it is not the time to look back and crib at your decisions. To help you managers we have picked out 5 players who could be very good differential options for this game week who we think are in for a big haul in FPL GW34+. So check out our FPL GW34+ differential picks blog.
FPL GW 34 + Forward Picks
1. Danny Ings vs Everton (A) Price : 7.3M, TSB : 26.8 %
Ings has been a phenomenal FPL asset this year, Starting at a mere 6.0m, he has accounted for 18 goals, just 3 behind Vardy for the golden boot. Could Ings do the impossible?
Southampton have been brilliant away from home this season one main reason for that is due to their start striker firing in all cylinders. Ings has scored 3 goals since the restart, all coming away from home. Although Everton have become defensively solid in recent weeks, having only conceded one goal since the restart. Considering a gulf in the rest time between the two teams ahead of this FPL GW34+ fixture, we expect Ings magic to strike at Goodison Park. Jimenez to Ings could be a popular choice.
Stats Corner
- Differential captain choice
- 10/18 goals coming away from home
- Just 3 goals behind golden boot leader Jamie Vardy
- 42 touches and 1 shot against city, played in an advanced role up top
- BPS magnet, 34 bonus points highest in FPL this season
2. Jamie Vardy vs (Arsenal ) Price : 9.7M, TSB : 26.4%
Jamie Vardy is back among the goals again. He was scintillating against crystal palace, now he is back against his favorite opposition club Arsenal. Although Arsenal have been defensively good over the last three GWs recording Three consecutive CS’s for the first time since 2017. We expect Vardy to cause massive problems to the likes of Rob Holding.
Stats Corner:
- 21 goals this year in the premier league
- 11/11 returns against arsenal
- 6 shots, 5 inside box against Crystal Palace
- Faces Bournemouth the next game week who have conceded most goals since the season restart
- Form: 4.8
FPL Gw 34+ Midfielder Picks
3. Raheem Sterling vs (Newcastle ) Price : 11.7M, TSB : 16.4%
Pep’s decision to take Raz and Mahrez off and play Jesus till 90 min, means that Sterling could play in the middle against Newcastle. Still only owned by 16.1 % managers, he offers a route to climb up your mini-leagues. Now with Aguero out, he is City’s chief threat and has registered 2 goals and 2 assists since the restart.
Could we see a Sterling hattrick next week? With Klopp rotating his front 3, Salah to Sterling could be a popular move on the cards!
Stats Corner
- Form: 5.6
- 2 shots and played in an advanced role against Southampton
- 38 touches with 14 inside the box vs Southampton
- Scored against Newcastle in the reverse fixture and could be a differential captain option
In case, if you are running out of budget, Phil Foden at 5.2 looks like a very promising pick. He has returned double-digit hauls in every game he has started since the season restart and has a good chance of starting after being dropped to the bench against Southampton.
4. Jarrod Bowen vs (Burnley), Price: 6.4, TSB : 0.2 %
On corners and possibly on free kicks, with west ham providing resurgence after a win against Chelsea in GW32+, look no more than Bowen. Priced at a mere 6.4 million, Bowen could be an amazing differential on the cards as he holds the key to keep West ham from going down. With 2 assists in a 9 pointer last week vs Chelsea, followed by an assist against Newcastle, Bowen will look to build on this good form.
Stats Corner:
- At 0.2 % Ownership, he is such a vital differential.
- Looks sharp and festive fixtures
- Form = 4.3
- xG : 0.30 / 90 min. xA : 0.36 / 90 min
- 3 shots against newcastle in GW33+
Also not to forget our FPL GW33+ differential pick, Michail Antonio who was on once again on the scoresheet for the hammers and could be another hammer to consider bringing in your squad ahead of FPL GW34+ Deadline.
FPL GW 34+ Defender’s Pick
5. Serge Aurier vs Bournemouth) Price : 5m , TSB: 7.0%
Aurier is up against a poor Bournemouth side who are yet to register a win since the restart and have conceded a whopping 12 goals in four games since the restart. Our instant defensive option to recommend for GW 34+ was a Spurs defender. It’s very obvious who the best Spurs defensive option is and he is most forward amongst all of them and looked more dangerous occupying positions higher up the pitch which very well could be converted into attacking returns.
Stats corner:
- 7 assists, just behind TAA and level with Azpi
- Bournemouth are conceding an average of three goals since the restart
Other Players worth considering ahead of FPL GW34+ Deadline
Troy Deeney vs Norwich (H) . Price : 6.2 . TSB : 1.7%
Troy Deeney is up against a leaky Norwich side who conceded the second-most goals conceded (61) so far this season. Also, Norwich have conceded nine goals and haven’t scored since the season restart. You can definitely expect him to be among scoresheet with Watford looking to gain valuable points in a relegation six-pointer.
Ismail Sarr is also another prospect to look into especially for this fixture against Norwich, as we all know how explosive the Watford winger can be on his day.
Marcus Rashford vs Aston Villa (A). Price : 9.1 TSB : 21.4%
With a goal and 2 assists since the return, Rashford has shown flashes of brilliance and was unlucky to have missed out on another goal against Bournemouth in what turned out to be a controversial VAR call. We expect him to shine and help his owners. Don’t sell him !!!
Lucas Moura vs Bornemouth (A) Price 7.1 , TSB : 4.0 %
Moura faces a poor Bournemouth side who are yet to register a win since the restart and have conceded a whopping 12 goals in four games since the restart. Lucas Moura is a high risk, high reward player and we expect him to explode against if he gets a go.
