After a week of cup fixtures, FPL GW 29 is looming upon the FPL managers. It has been a tough blank GW for the FPL managers which saw an astonishingly low average points of 26 😱. We have picked out 5 players to watch out for who could help you climb up in your leagues. So check out our FPL GW 29 tips to know who could haul you points this week and get them in your team.
FPL GW 29 FORWARDS:
Diogo Jota vs Brighton(H), TSB:6.7%, Price:6.3m
Wolves have proved to be a serious contender for Champions league football this season. Currently placed 6th they are they 3 points away from top 4 and level on points with 5th placed Man United.
Jota has been in inspiring form of late having managed to score 6 goals in his last 3 games. He has had the most big chances in the league in the past 2 GW’s👀🤨.
He has been owned by a just 6.4% of FPL managers and less than 10% of top 10 k ownership. Jota has missed 10 big chances this season the most for any wolves player with 1.6 shots per game.
With the wolves trio Doherty-Jota-Jimenez seemingly growing popular amongst the FPL managers,it seems to be the right time to board the train with favorable run of fixtures incoming.

Chris Wood vs Spurs(H), TSB: 1.3%, Price: 6.1m
Sean Dyche’s Burnley have managed to turn their poor form around the Christmas period and are currently just 4 points away from 5th spot.
Burnley have been solid at the back, in their last 5 games they have managed 4 cleansheets. They are coming up against a Tottenham side that has managed to keep just 4 cleansheets this entire season(joint last).
This fixture seems like the one where Burnley could just nick it as their star man prepares to start after being on bench last GW.
Wood has scored the most goals for Burnley this season(10 goals) and has missed most number of big chances(16)😨.
FPL GW 29 MIDFIELDERS
Ismaïla Sarr vs Crystal Palace(A),TSB: 1.4%, Price: 6.3m
After a shocking result against the soon to be champions Liverpool, Watford must certainly feel at top. Watford have managed to end Liverpool’s 44 match unbeaten streak and their unbeaten run the league.
The man pictured above seemed to be the star of that night scoring 2 goals and providing an assist to beat Liverpool 3-0. Sarr managed to bag 19 points at GW 28.
He has surely been the spark that Watford have missed in their last 4 GW’s. During these 4 GW’s Watford have lost 3 matches and drew one. Sarr’s return has surely inspired some attacking returns from Deeney and Doucoure as well.
Watford are coming up against the Eagles who have managed to keep cleansheets in their last 2 GW’s. CPFC have managed to keep 8 cleansheets so far this season. Surely not as difficult as beating Liverpool’s first team 😉🤣.

Bruno Fernandes vs Man City (H),TSB- 12.5%, Price- 8.3m
After securing a January transfer move from Sporting CP to Man United this season,Bruno has seemed lively. His recent performances has made the FPL managers think twice before buying a differential midfielder.
Since his January move, Bruno has started 5 matches in all competitions and has bagged 3 goals and 2 assists to his name. He has taken 16 shots in his 4 appearances for Man united in the league.
Bruno has made 2.0 key passes per game and has managed 3.3 shots per game. If there is someone who could win the derby for United right now it has to be Bruno Fernandes. No pressure Bruno 😜.

Nicolas Pépé vs West Ham United(H),TSB: 3.7%, Price: 9.2m
After a disappointing exit to their European campaign, Arsenal will look to bounce back in their upcoming match against West Ham. The man tipped to do it in FPL GW 29 for Arsenal FC is none other than Nicolas Pépé.
As a record signing, Pépé has not seemed to produce the amazing performances week in week out. But he has turned a corner in the past few GW’s.
He has managed to produce 23 points in the last 2 GW’s scoring 1 goals and providing 3 assists. He has bagged the most assist for arsenal in the league this season(6).
Pépé has had 1.5 key passes per game(2nd) and has managed to take 1.4 Total shots per game(3rd). He has also created the most number big chances for Arsenal in the league this season.
Arsenal are coming up against a West Ham for whom it is a crucial match as well. Arsenal need a win to keep their Champions League hopes alive for the next season. West Ham United are currently placed 16th and are level on points(27) with Bournemouth who are placed 18th. A must win match for both teams, certainly an exciting fixture.
