GW 18 will be the beginning of the crazy festive period fixtures with four deadlines in the span of 10 days. FPL managers need to plan ahead and power through the festive period fixtures in order to rack up those green arrows and keep moving ahead in the rankings. Liverpool vs West Ham FPL GW 18 fixture is postponed due to Liverpool’s participation in the Club World Cup. This makes things complicated for FPL managers.

FPL GW 18 Forwards:
Chris Wood vs Bournemouth (A) 6.2 MIL, TSB: 1.1%
The Burnley forward had a very slow start to the season having failed to score in the opening five fixtures. But has picked up form since GW6 scoring in 7 of the last 10 games. He has comfortably outscored fellow striker Ashley Barnes who has been struggling to score of late.
Chris Wood has so far had a total of 19 big chances this season which is second only to the 22 big chances from the highest owned FPL asset currently,Jamie Vardy (£10.1m). Wood is owned by just 1% of FPL managers which makes him a great differential option ahead of FPL GW18 deadline.

2. Diogo Jota vs Norwich (A) 6.1 MIL TSB:3.1%:
Jota is another FPL asset who has had a very disappointing FPL season so far, but the Portuguese forward is slowly finding form having scored 5 goals in the last three games including an 11-minute hat-trick against Besiktas in Europa League.
Jota averages three shots per 90 minutes in PL this season and has 14 shots on goal in the last four game weeks one more than Jimenez has managed. Wolves are up against a Norwich side who average 2.5 goals conceded at home. Norwich have also conceded the most number of big chances at home this season making Jota an interesting option for GW 18 and beyond.

FPL GW 18 MIDFIELDERS
Richarlison vs Arsenal (H)
Richarlison is the seventh-highest scoring midfielder in FPL this season scoring 6 goals and assisting 3 more averaging 2.57 shots per 90 and is yet owned by just 8% of managers.
The Everton forward is in red hot form having scored 4 goals in the last 6 games and is up against an Arsenal defense who have conceded 27 goals already and have managed just two clean sheets all season. With injuries to key defenders ,Arsenal are in deep trouble as they travel to face an Everton side and will be hoping that the Brazilian forward won’t run havoc.
The arrival of Carlo Ancelotti is imminent and the fixtures are also easing out for Everton. Richarlison could be the ideal replacement for Mount or Pulisic.
Richarlison could be an FPL GW 18 captain pick as well!

Lucas Moura vs Chelsea (A) 7MIL TSB:4.6%
Spurs have managed to win 4 out of the first five games under Jose Mourinho. They have scored 14 goals in the process with Dele Alli, Son and Harry Kane being the obvious popular picks amongst FPL managers. Lucas Moura offers a cheaper alternative to the Spurs attack.
The Brazilian Forward has managed to score 3 goals in the last 5 games including a stunner against wolves last game week. Priced at just 7 MIL Lucas Moura can be a solid alternative to Son and Dele Alli.
FPL GW 18 GOALKEEPERS:
Vicente Guaita 5.1 MIL TSB:2.8%
Three clean sheets in the last four games and that’s not the entire story. The Crystal Palace shot-stopper has made a remarkable 18 saves in the last 4 games racking up 6 save points and 8 bonus points in the process. Yet Guaita has a very less ownership percentage going into GW 18. With Crystal palace having a great run of fixtures over the festive period Guaita could be a solid defensive reinforcement worth considering.
