The end of game week 13 of the Premier League sees the league leaders Liverpool going strong with a 1-2 victory away at Selhurst Park. As they remain the only team who are unbeaten this season. Just like every week here the 5 eye-catching incidences and games from Premier League GW 13

JOSE’S BUS IS OFF TO A STEADY START

Premier League GW 13 saw the return of Jose Mourinho (Judas) is back in the Premier League as he takes charge of his third team. After a series of poor performances and shocking results, Tottenham’s Chairman Daniel Levy pulled the trigger on their Argentine manager Pochettino, despite him guiding the North London team to their first Champions League Final in a very long time.

Jose Mourinho’s men took on their London rivals West Ham United in an away game. Considering Spurs recent away form this fixture was a tricky one but the team put up a solid performance.

Goals from the likes of Son, Moura, and Kane helped the away side take a 3 goal lead. West Ham staged a late fightback with goals from the likes of Antonio and Ogbonna was just too little too late as the hammers lost the game 2-3 at the London Stadium. Tottenham’s star player Delle Alli who previously was put under high levels of criticism created the goal for Son.

Jose Mourinho’s magic touch and his winning mentality might be the final piece of the puzzle for the North London team to finally win a trophy.

THE FOXES MARCH ON:

The foxes (Leicester City) cemented their second position in the league, as they steamrolled Brighton away from home during Premier League GW 13 fixture. Jamie Vardy put in a nearly perfect performance as he scored one and set up another for Perez. The English forward is in red hot form destroying opposition along the way

Their manager Rogers has implemented the classic 4-3-3 at the King Power this season which has perfected suited his team. Leicester is not only an eye-watering proposition going forward solid at the back. Ricardo, Soyuncu, Evans, and Chilwell have only let in 8 goals this season.

YET ANOTHER BAD EBENING AT THE EMIRATES:

Arsenal were under tremendous pressure going into Premier League GW 13 , due to multiple poor results as they faced a struggling Southampton at home.
As feared by their fans the gunners were off to an awful start as Danny Ings the former Liverpool man scored in the first half. But, they came back into the game when their French Talismen Lacazette pulled one back just before half time.

Going into the dressing room on a high, everyone expected Arsenal to come flying out of the blocks in the second half. But, the build-up play and box to box transition was still very slow. Things took a turn to the worse as Southampton were awarded a penalty. Despite Leno’s heroics they managed to make it 1-2.

As the clock ticked on the crowd started to lose patience and started showing their discontent. Lacazette again stepped in the dying moments of the game to score the equalizer and save the Gunners from a humiliating result at home.

IT’S ONE STEP FORWARD AND TWO STEPS BACK FOR SILVA AND HIS MEN

After their impressive performance against the Saints last week, Everton were up against relegation candidates Norwich at Goodison Park. Marco Silva’s men were the overwhelming favorites going into the fixture.

But, things did not go according to plan the Canaries stepped it up and put two past the Toffees to strike yet another nail Marco’s Silva coffin. Everton couldn’t break down a team that had previously shipped in 28 goals

. Norwich City gradually grew into the game and started winning balls high up the final third during the second half of the fixture. They showed more desire and fight, winning every second ball and committing bodies forward. This pressure paid off as they scored 2 past Jordon Pickford to secure 3 crucial away points.

THE SIX GOAL THRILLER AT BRAMALL LANE:

The fans at Bramall lane have been treated to many thrilling fixtures and big upset wins this season. It was shaping up to be another special night as Red Devils had come to town.

The blades were off to a fiery start as they were all over Ole’s men in the first half. United were second best in almost every department making it a really hard watch for the away support.

Chris Wilder’s men went two in front thanks to goals from John Fleck and Lys Mousset either side of half time. But, the tables turned in flash as the Man Utd side managed to score three goals within the space of seven minutes to make it 2-3 putting a huge smile on Ole’s face. But, the smile did not last very long.

Sheffield United managed to score in the dying moments of the game thanks to their record signing Oli McBurnie. The game ended 3-3 as both teams failed to capitalize on the potential fifth spot.
