Most transferred IN players for GW3 :
Most transferred OUT players for GW3 :
Injuries and Suspensions(only ahead of GW3) :
Doubtful : Pereyra,Doucoure(Watford),Fleck(Sheffield),Chilwell(Leicester),Joelinton(Newcastle),Stones(Mancity),Xhaka(Arsenal)
Confirm ruled out :
Deeney,Sema(Watford), Winston Reid(West Ham)
Players to watch out for in GW3 :
Goal Keepers
Nick Pope ( 4.5) :
The only GK who has conceded 2 goals and yet feature in high BPS (23). The word save points can’t find a more synonymous person other than him(7 saves in total).Only Allison has higher save percentage than Pope across last four Premier league seasons. Breath taking stuff from the Burnley No.1. He faces Wolves next, a team who are finding it hard to find the net. Expect a good score from him.
Hugo Lloris (5.5) :
Lloris faces a Newcastle side who are struggling to score goals . A clean sheet seems very evident unless they make a blunder. Their defense looks strong and sound. And more often than not, whenever Spurs keep a CS, Lloris gets high BPS. Expecting nothing less that 7 points from the Worldcup winner.
Defenders
Robertson (7.0) :
It’s a little bit odd the highest scoring defender of the last season is being transferred out the most. Even though the assists and clean sheets are hard to come, make no mistake the assist is round the corner. Against a fragile and high line Arsenal defense, we can expect atleast an assist from him, even if his clean sheet gets wiped out. Expecting a solid 9 points from him.
Zinchenko (5.5) :
Against a solid Tottenham defense, can you guess who had 2 shots on target. Defensively decent, attacking wise a man to watch out for. Against a weak Bournemouth team, he could your guy. Clean sheet seems very possible. Expecting a good 6 points from him.
Yerry Mina ( 5.6) :
Only team in the season yet to concede a goal. Interestingly they are 2nd best team to concede goals from open play. Mina is huge bonus point magnet with a total of 5 bonus points from 2 games. They face Aston villa next week, who are low on confidence and yet to start their campaign . A clean sheet might be possible. Expect a good score from him.
Midfielders :
1.Kevin De Bruyne (9.6) :
The ginger head from Belgium is the player to watch out for this season in the already over performing Man City team. We all know that Kevin is class above all the midfielders in the Premier League currently and him being fit has increased the chances City hitting the three figure mark again. With an injury hit previous campaign, all odds point towards the ginger pele being the highly successful this season if he can stay fit.
KDB had an absolutely brilliant game against Tottenham last week. Kevin displayed his class in the 2-2 draw by dropping in between the defense and midfield of the well structured Pochettino side, he was the one who knitted game in the final third and also dictated the pace of play for more than half of the game.
KDB in numbers :
1.xA(Expected assist) of 2.24(Highest in the league by a mile).
2.9 key passes and 2 assists against Tottenham.
3.BPS – 81(Highest for Midfielders and second highest in the league)
4. ICT Index of 32.7(Second highest for midfielders)
5.xA90(Expected assist per 90 minutes): 1.19(Highest in the league)
Kevin is a dream for any FPL manager. Priced at 9.6 million, the Belgian is proven talent who is both creative and can also unleash a thunderbolt from nowhere!
2.Manuel Lanzini(6.5) :
Fixtures : Watford(A), Norwich(H), Aston Villa(A)
Much like KDB, Lanzini is almost back to his brilliant best after being injured for most part of last season. Lanzini is a tempting option from a FPL point of view as they play a struggling Watford side. They play the promoted teams after Watford and it looks likely that West Ham will be among the goals and collecting the maximum of 9 points from the next three games.
Lanzini in numbers :
1.Ownership of just 1.4%
2.Three bonus points and an assist vs Brighton last week.
3. BPS : 50(5th highest among all midfielders despite playing City in one of the games)
4. xA(Expected goals from Lanzini’s key passes) : 0.53
The Argentine has just been called up for the national side again and would like to celebrate it by putting his name on the score sheet. With just a total ownership of 1.4%,Lanzini could well be a good replacement for the much hyped, under performing players like Ayoze Perez(6.5),Richarlison(8.0) and the much needed differential pick for your side!
3. Gylfi Sigurdsson(8.0) :
Fixtures : Aston Villa(A),Wolves(H),Bournemouth(A)
Sigurdsson has not yet justified his price tag and hype with his performances till now(atleast in terms of FPL points).But he was really good last week. And we suggest everyone to hold on to him as the fixtures are kind enough for the time being and its just a matter of time he gets on the points. He is also a reliable set piece taker(Penalty conversion rate of 82%).
Analysis :
It was surprising to see Marcus Silva use a different kind of strategy with respect to Sigurdsson this season. The Iceland man has been been farthest man on the pitch even ahead of the likes of Calvert Lewin,Richarlison(on average formation as seen in pic). He has been playing more like a second striker which you want exactly from your midfielder from FPL point of view!
Forwards
Roberto Firmino (9.5) :
When you know it’s Arsenal, the only guy that comes up your mind is him. Can remember how many goals he has scored against them. He just loves scoring against them. Could your differential captain choice this week. A Hat trick last year says it all. Bobby is gonna be on mark again. Trust me he won’t disappoint us.
2. Teemu Pukki (6.8) :
The Pukki bandwagon has already begun and its in full swing. Who would have imagined the first double price would be him. When you score against a strong Liverpool defense at Anfield, you know he is a good player. Up against a weak Chelsea defense, an attacking Norwich side would come up for a win. Expecting him to become this year’s Jimenez. So its high time we join the Pukki party!
3.Marcus Rashford(8.6) :
Marcus Rashford has become an out and out striker who in great shape and form. The good thing is he is willing to take up responsibilities in his own hands. The only striker we think who could match Kane in the next 3 to 4 GWs. Up against a Crystal Palace side, who are yet to make a huge impact, expect a goal or an assist from him.
Captain picks for GW 3 :
1.Harry Kane(11.0) :
Harry Kane has set the bar so high that even if he does not score for a week,that makes the headlines! Even though Kane had a very ordinary game last week against the champions, expect Kane to make a mark against Newcastle. Newcastle defense have been poor this season to say the least with xGA(Expected goals against) of 3.23(among the worst five in the league).
With Son and Eriksen returning to full fitness and Moura also returning to form,we expect Tottenham to have a party at their new home stadium with Harry Kane being the orcherstrator!
2. Raheem Sterling(12.2) :
Sterling in numbers :
1.xG(Expected goals) : 2.47(Highest in the league)
2.BPS(Bonus point system) : 75(2nd for midfielders only behind teammate De Bruyne)
3.ICT Index : 38.7(Highest in the league)
4. Scored atleast a goal in his last six of his last 7 games vs Bournemouth.
5.8 goals and 2 assists in his last 7 games vs Bournemouth
The stats does not always do justice in a football game. But does justice in terms of FPL. Sterling has been the star show in FPL this season and is expected to come good again this week against one of his favourite teams Bournemouth. With KDB returning to his top form again,expect even more points from Sterling!
Differential Choices :
Roberto Firmino(9.5) :
- Bobby Firmino the only Liverpool player to have an attacking return in both the Game weeks.
- Firmino at home v Arsenal : 8 games 8 goals⚽
- Liverpool have scored an average 4 goals in last 6 matches against Arsenal.
- Bobby had the highest xGI of 1.38 amongst all Liverpool players .
Ultra Differential captian picks :
Mason Mount(6.1) :
- Lampard’s love for Mason Mount is real. So he will keep the #10 role and his starting place.
- 3 shots on target against Leicester , 1 big chance created and 1 goal in his 90 minutes😮
- Such an attractive price.Against a Norwich side who like to attack, Chelsea ‘s counter could be pivotal, and he holds the key.
Ricardo Pereira(6.0) :
Ricardo Pereira (6.0) :
- 8 Crosses, and 3 Chances Created in Just 2 GWs. These are not stats of a midfielder.
- Priced at £6.0M with 5.9% TSB, he faces Sheffield United (A) in GW3. The high flying Portuguese full back playing in the right flank is an intriguing differential pick.
- Ricardo Pereira made more recoveries(11),won more tackles(8) and completed more take-ons(5) than any other player on the pitch vs Chelsea.
- 2nd in most tackles in Premier league this season(15) only behind Aaron Wan-Bissaka(15).
GameWeek deadline : 23.8.2019,Friday(11.30 P.M)
All the best for the GW!
