Trending Players on Sleeper Draft Fantasy Ahead of GW22:
Sleeper Draft Fantasy GW22- Best Punts and Hidden Gems
Iliman Ndiaye
David Moyes is back as the Everton manager and had this 1st match vs Villa in the 0-1 loss. New manager bounce has not yet happened but Everton created some chances finally which looks promising to break their goal drought(3 Big Chances and 1.08 xG). Ndiaye started as the LW and even though he looked quiet the upcoming matchups vs Spurs look really good for him.
Left Wingers vs Spurs in recent weeks:
- GW21- Trossard- Goal
- GW20- Gordon- Goal
- GW19- Ait Nouri- 2 Assists
- GW18- Hudson Odoi- Blank
- GW17- Luis Diaz- 2 Goals
Spurs are leaky at the back and have conceded 13 goals from the last 6 matches- Joint 3rd Highest among all the teams during this time. They have also conceded 10.95 xG which is the 3rd highest among all the teams during this time. Surely all the signs point to Everton breaking their goal drought and it is likely that Ndiaye is involved in it.
Neco Williams
Nottingham Forest are 3rd in the Premier League and are only 2 points behind the 2nd placed Arsenal. Much credit should be given to their defense as they have kept the Most clean sheets(9) in the league this season.
Nottingham Forest Defense Rank this season:
- Clean Sheets- 1st
- xGC- 4th
- Big Chances conceded- 2nd
- Goals Conceded- 2nd
Neco Williams plays as a full back in this Forest side and has started all of the last 7 seven games therefore his place is nailed. Williams attacking threat is also decent as he averages 1.41 Shots/90 and 0.50 chances created/90 minutes. If he is not yet picked in your Draft Fantasy GW22 might not be too late to get him in.
Danny Welbeck
Danny Welbeck has returned from injury and has made 2 appearances off the bench to get to full fitness. After 2 cameos, he is likely to be in for a start vs Manchester United in GW22. Before his injury, Danny Welbeck was on a hot streak with 6 Goals and 2 Assists in 13 Starts. He had great stats as well with 13 Shots on Target, 24 Shots in the Box and 9 Big Chances.
Manchester United are not in good defensive form with no clean sheets from the last 8 games. In GW21, Manchester United conceded 13 Shots and 1.52 xG vs Southampton who are 20th in the table and have only 6 points this season. If United concede the same amount of chances vs Brighton, Welbeck and Brighton will be having a party.
Paqueta
New manager bounce is real as West Ham put up a great show and won 3-2 vs Fulham in GW21. Graham Potter employed Paqueta as the striker and he did not disappoint. Paqueta got a goal and registered 0.58 xG vs Fulham. Paqueta also started as a striker vs Villa in the FA cup game and scored there as well. His 5 Shots in the last 2 Matches under Potter is more than any of his team-mates. With Fulkrug, Antonio and Bowen all out due to long term injuries, it is likely that Paqueta is likely to continue as the striker.
We also know the attacking tactics that Potter employs which means that West Ham should score more goals in the upcoming matches. Paqueta is also on penalties which increases his attacking potential and route to Fantasy points.
Harry Wilson
If you are looking for a Differential Midfielder pick in your Draft Fantasy GW22 leagues, Harry Wilson is the pick. Harry Wilson has 2 goals, 1 assist from the last 4 matches with good underlying numbers as well. Up against Leicester City who have a known weakness on the left flank(Harry Wilson side), Wilson will surely look to add to his tally.
Most Chances Conceded in Left Flank over the last 6 matches:
- Leicester- 29
- Brentford- 25
- West Ham- 25
- Palace- 24
- Southampton- 22
Leicester have conceded 29 chances from their left flank over the last 6 matches- Highest among all the teams in the league. In the last 6 matches, all the right wingers playing against Leicester have returned- Murphy, Guedes, Salah, Foden Bailey and Sarr.
