The Differential Article continued with some Big Scores last week where 3 of our 6 picks returned with FPL Points.
- Son Heung Min – 2 Assists, 2 Bonus 10 Points
- Dominic Solanke – 1 Goal, 6 Points
- Bryan Mbeumo – 1 Goal, 1 Bonus – 8 Points
That makes it 15/30 Picks who have returned FPL Points from our picks this Season. In this article, we will be highlighting 5 Players who are less than 10% Owned and 1 Ultra Differential (less than 1% Owned) for all of you as of Thursday 26th September, 2024. There are many more whom you guys can consider if you decide not to go with the 6 players mentioned below.

Top FPL GW6 Differential Picks(<10% TSB)
Antoine Semenyo – Bournemouth – 5.6 Midfielder – 8.1 % TSB –
- The Midfielder who has had the Most Shots this season (24) amongst midfielders and is only 2nd to Erling Haaland among all players for shots. He has had 14 Shots in the Box, which has the highest among Bournemouth assets.
- He has had 6 Shots on Target, been presented with 3 Big Chances and has created 2 Big Chances and played 4 Key passes, which shows his multiple routes to points. He is also Top for Goal involvement among Bournemouth assets with 2 Goals and 1 Assist.
- Southampton have conceded a whopping 32 Shots on Target (3rd worst) and 20 Big Chances (Joint 2nd worst) and they tend to concede most of these chances from the left side. That is the same wing in which Semenyo will operate. Expecting a big haul this Gameweek for Semenyo.
Stat Alert: Southampton have conceded the most chances amongst all teams through their left flank(24) & they have also conceded the 2nd most chances through their middle(23) which is exactly where Semenyo operates making it a great matchup.

Chris Wood – Nottingham Forest – 6.1 Forward – 9 % TSB
- The Talisman of Forest, Wood has even started taking penalties over Gibbs White. 3 Goals and 8 Bonus Points. Basically, a Goal from Wood guarantees you some sort of Bonus Points, if not Max Bonus.
- Fulham have a big weakness defending headed shots an set pieces (2nd worst for both) and Wood could take advantage of this. Fulham have also not kept a single Clean sheet so far and always tend to concede away from home.
- Wood has had 11 Shots in the box and 8 on Target. He has also been involved in 6 Big Chances and has had a healthy xG of 2.42 this season. 4 of the next 5 Fixtures for Forest involve Fulham, Palace, Leicester and West Ham (only 2 Clean Sheets combined for these 4 Teams). A Perfect Budget Forward going forward (excuse the pun)

Dwight McNeil – 5.4 Midfielder – 2.8 % TSB
- A Man written off by the FPL Community because of past bias. However McNeil has become the Creative Engine for Everton. He is on all set pieces and that always fetches points for a Dyche Team with Big Centre Backs Tarko, Branthwaite, and DCL.
Brantwaite update: Everton’s squad receives a huge boost with Jarrad Branthwaite, Vitalli Mykolenko, Nathan Patterson, and Idrissa Gana-Gueye all in full first-team training ahead of Saturday’s fixture against Crystal Palace. Jarrad Branthwaite is available for selection as Everton face Crystal Palace on Saturday
- McNeil’s numbers are so impressive that he has played 20 Key passes (double that of Eze’s 10) and has created 6 Big Chances (Eze has only created 1 Big Chance) yet people can’t stop talking about Eze as a great FPL option. Take these numbers into consideration before writing off McNeil as an FPL Option.

Phil Foden – Manchester City – 9.3 Midfielder – 5.3 % TSB –
- Probably the only Premium player who is yet to haul this Season. Don’t see that continuing for too long. Foden got good minutes in midweek and is building up match fitness before City’s great fixture run of Newcastle, Fulham, Wolves, Southampton and Bournemouth.
- Only owning Erling Haaland for that fixture run does not seem enough. Foden could be a brilliant differential punt who most managers would avoid when they play the Wildcard this week. If KDB is out for a little longer, I expect Foden to play behind Haaland in these easier fixtures. Get on this guy early and you could reap huge rewards when he inevitably hauls soon.

Vitalli Mykolenko – Everton – 4.3 Defender – 4 % TSB
- He could be a perfect Cheap Defender on your Wildcard playing for a Sean Dyche team which is about to have Jarred Branthwaite back in the Starting 11. Everton with Branthwaite is a completely different team defensively.
- Everton usually tend to start off slow and then get into rhythm as we saw last season when Pickford started getting a big number of clean sheets. In the end, they finished with the 2nd most Clean sheets last season. Mykolenko could be the best option in the Everton defence, being the lowest-priced player in that team.
Everton do not play any of last Season’s Top 6 teams till Gameweek 15 and this is why you could set and forget Mykolenko as a 4th/5th Defender in your teams for the next 10 Gameweeks.

FPL GW6 Ultra Differential Pick (Under 1 % Ownership)
Fabio Carvalho – Brentford – 4.8 Midfielder – 0.9 % TSB –
- Brentford’s brilliant fixture run starts now and the whole world will have Bryan Mbeumo in their teams. Going for a 2nd attacking Brentford attacking player could be a nice way to gain rank.
- Carvalho could be that pick and a much easier FPL asset to fit into your FPL teams than Schade. He scored in the recent midweek Carabao Cup game and will be hoping to kickstart his Premier League career with his new club this season.
Thomas Frank on Fabio Carvalho after the Spurs game: “His performance overall was good from a first Premier League start with us. I like that (performance) in a difficult away game. He will be even better in games where he’ll hopefully be a bit more on top. So, overall satisfied.”
