Euro Fantasy MD4 – Best Captain Picks for Day 1 (June 29th)

Safe Pick: Germany vs Denmark is the game to focus on the first day and I. Gundogan (€7m-MID) & J. Musiala (€8.5m-MID) seem to be the clear safe options for captaincy. They have been the best German attacking assets by gaining the highest fantasy points so far and they are nailed to start the match, which puts them above any other player for the first day.
Risky Pick: If we hear any news that N. Fullkrug (€7m-FWD) will start the match instead of Havertz or even next to him, then he will be such an interesting option for those who want to gamble their captaincy on this day. He has been so sharp and had a great impact whenever he was provided with enough minutes during the group stage. A. Bastoni (€5.5m-DEF) & R. Vargas (€6m-MID) are also my favorite risky picks for those who want to select a player from the other match between Switzerland and Italy.

Euro Fantasy MD4 – Best Captain Picks for Day 2 (June 30th)

Safe Pick: Any of the Spanish Attacking assets would be a great safe captaincy pick for their match against Georgia on the second day. My preferences in order are: I) A. Morata (€7.5m-FWD) as their main striker and penalty taker, II) L. Yamal (€6.5m-FWD) also has too much potential to score goals or provide assists as he has been great in this tournament, and III) N. Williams (€7m-MID) as the other player among top 3 attackers with a high chance of fantasy returns.
Risky Pick: If you want to go differential, then D. Carvajal (€5.5m-DEF) is a wonderful player to select as your captain. He already showed his attacking abilities during the group stage which is likely to happen again here, while Spain has a high chance of keeping a clean sheet to even add more points for him as a defender. H. Kane (€11m-FWD) is also the player for people who suppose that England will finally live up to the expectations in their match against Slovenia.

Euro Fantasy MD4 – Best Captain Picks for Day 3 (July 1st)

Safe Pick: C. Ronaldo (€10m-FWD) & B. Fernandes (€9m-MID) are the top two safe players for captaincy on the third day of this round. Portugal vs Slovenia is the game to consider on this day and these two have been the best Portuguese players in attack (according to their xGI), so it’s predicted that they will gain some fantasy points in of one the best fixtures of this round.
Risky Pick: If you believe that France can overcome Belgium easily, then K. Mbappe (€11m-FWD) has to be the player you can risk your captaincy on this day. Although France haven’t shown a great performance during the group stage and Mbappe missed a match due to an injury, everyone is still waiting for him to shine in the competition, and their match against Belgium might be an opportunity to do so.

Euro Fantasy MD4 – Best Captain Picks for Day 4 (July 2nd)

Safe Pick: However the matches on the last day might not be as interesting fantasy-wise as the other days, I believe C. Baumgartner (€6.5m-MID) & M. Sabitzer (€6.5m-MID) are the safest options you can select as your captain. Austria’s match against Turkiye seem to be the match to invest on the fourth day and these two are the best players as Austria is highly predicted to score goals in this match.
Risky Pick: C. Gakpo (€7.5m-FWD) is the risky pick that I prefer over the other options on the last day. Netherlands is expected to be the superior team against Romania while their defensive performance hasn’t been good during the last match of the group stage, so Gakpo as their best attacker is the only player I consider to gamble the captaincy.
