Manual SubsThere are no manual subs in FPLThere are manual subs in Euro Fantasy. You can sub off a player who has already played in that matchday to bring in a player from the bench who is yet to play. In this way you can maximize the points for your team. Tip: Start players who play early in the matchday and bench those players who play late in the Matchday.
Automatic SubsAutomatic subs are there in FPL with respect to bench order in terms of priorityAutomatic subs work in Euro Fantasy only when you do not make any manual subs during a matchday.

Example:

Euro Fantasy vs FPL - Substitutions Example
Matchday 1 Fixtures
  • In the above draft, Writz plays the first game of that Matchday vs Scotland. Suppose Writz blanks and you are not happy with the returns of Writz, you can sub him out for Mbappe who plays later in that matchday. In this case, your formation would change to 3-4-3. You need to make this change before the first game on the day(subs deadline) which France play.
  • Similarly, you can bring in Cancelo(vs Czechia) for any of the other players who did not perform well.
  • Note: You can’t bring back a player who you have subbed off. For example, You sub off Writz after he has scored 2 points and bring in Mbappe who scores only 1 point. In this case, you can’t revert the substitution and get back Writz for Mbappe.

Example:

Euro Fantasy vs FPL - Captaincy Example
Matchday 1 Fixtures
  • Suppose you captain Havertz for the first game and he blanks, you can change your captain to Rodri for the next day. However, this should done before the first game of Day 2, ie. The subs deadline for that particular day.
  • Suppose Rodri also blanks, you can change your Captaincy to Kane for Day 3. So it is advisable to have your squad with Captain options from different days within a matchday.
  • Suppose Kane scores 2 goals and you are still not happy with it and feel Mbappe can get a hat trick you can switch your Captaincy to Mbappe for Day 4. However, if Mbappe does not perform, you can’t switch back to Kane or any players who has already played. You can only pick players from Day 5 for Captaincy like Bruno or Ronaldo.
  • You will double the points only for one player. One player who you have kept as Captain at the final day of that Matchday.
