Teams with Haul Potential in FPL GW26

Over 2 Goals Odds for FPL GW26 ~ DraftHound

Man City & Arsenal

The top two teams in the league come out on top for this week’s Over 2 Goals Odds. Having scored the second highest number of goals in the league so far (52), Arsenal top the odds with a 50% chance of scoring more than 2 goals against Bournemouth. Coming off the back of consecutive league wins, Arsenal are high on confidence at the moment and against a struggling Bournemouth, there’s every chance this could happen. Man City have been given a 40% chance of putting two past Newcastle which is a rather surprising statistic, considering that Newcastle have been rock solid in defence throughout the season. Nevertheless, bookies favour the Citizens because of their home ground advantage, and we would also recall the last time these 2 teams met, which ended in a 3-3 draw at St James’ Park.

Chelsea & Brighton

Another surprise inclusion in the metric this week is Chelsea who have been given a 31% chance to score more than 2 goals against Leeds. The Blues have been having a hard time in the league, conceding goals and not scoring enough at the other end. Even so, the bookies still favour them to put more than 2 goals past Leeds at Stamford Bridge this weekend. Let’s wait to see if the bookies got this one right! As for Brighton, they have a 27% chance of putting 2 past the Hammers. Brighton have looked really sharp in attack and given that they’ve just had a break due to their blank in GW25, we would expect their players to be well rested and put in a strong performance against West Ham.

Teams Predicted to Keep Clean Sheets in FPL GW26

FPL GW26 Odds Preview- Cleansheet Odds
Clean Sheet Odds for FPL GW26 ~ DraftHound

Arsenal & Man City

The League Leaders Arsenal and City top the cleansheet metrics as well. Arsenal have a 58% chance of keeping a clean sheet against Bournemouth and City have a 48% chance of doing the same against Newcastle. Arsenal have been a fortress at the Emirates and we would fully expect them to clean up against Bournemouth, but as for City, who have been leaking the odd goal here and there, 48% may be generous from the bookies. That said, Newcastle have not been scoring an awful lot of late, and that could be one of the reasons for City’s clean sheet odds.

Chelsea & Aston Villa

Chelsea have a 45% chance of cleaning up against Leeds and Potter’s time looks like its almost up. The team will be under immense pressure to perform against Leeds and you would expect them to field a strong team. An injury setback for Thiago Silva, however, may put a dent in these hopes, with the Centre Back ruled out for months due to a knee injury. It will be interesting to see how the Blues react to this defensive set back and whether they can in fact keep a clean sheet against Leeds. As for Aston Villa, their 42% chance of a clean sheet is rather high considering their defence has not been water tight by any means, but Palace have been struggling for goals ever since the restart. All things considered, 42% could seem fair for a Villa team coming off a 2-0 win against a resurgent Everton.

FPL GW26 Predicted Points

Haaland & Rashford

Sitting at 7.3 and 6.4 predicted points respectively, Haaland and Rashford are among the top few for predicted points again this week. Being the talisman for their respective teams, we would expect that they continue their goal scoring form. It is important to note, however, that Haaland plays Newcastle and Rashford plays Liverpool. With those being slightly tougher games, it could be wiser to put the captain’s armband on the Arsenal attackers this week.

Saka & Odegaard

Saka is a big captaincy shout this week, sitting at 6.8 predicted points. Though lower than Haaland, he does have the easier fixture this week against Bournemouth and he does get the extra point for a clean sheet and another extra point for a goal. Odegaard is another player that could be a differential captain option, sitting at 6.6 predicted points.
