FPL GW3 Wildcard Draft
Pros of playing Wildcard in FPL GW3:
- Easy route to must-own players like Salah and Haaland if you haven’t got them in GW1 and got behind due to price changes.
- Go to the Team structure which you want without multiple hits.
- Take advantage of spotting Differentials if you have already spotted them. Some players might be Differentials now, but highly owned around GW6.
- Offload players from Newcastle and Villa who have a tough fixture run in the next few weeks.
Cons of Playing Wildcard in FPL GW3:
- Might not be more than 5 players changing from your current squad and Wildcard draft.
- Nunez suspension
- Might need Wildcard little later when we get more injuries/suspensions.
- Pre-mature strategy with not much of sample space and data. Some teams will take time to settle down and a few change in tactics could change their fortunes.
- Uncertainty around the fitness of players like Perisic and Chilwell.
FPL GW3 Wildcard Draft
Key notes about the Draft
- Sanchez starts in goal due to Brighton’s strong defense and a good fixture run. Ramsdale is also a good option with 0.9 in the bank.
- Cancelo and Trent Alexander Arnold pick themselves.
- Chelsea Double up in James and Cucurella who is still a differential at <10% TSB. Next four fixtures look really good for Chelsea and even if they don’t get clean sheets there will be attacking returns from these.
- Cucurella can be moved to Trippier when Chilwell is fully fit and Champions League start around GW7.
- Walker/Ake/Gabriel are all good options if you don’t want to Double up on Chelsea.
- Salah, Martinelli, Haaland and Jesus are all in good form and their teams have very good fixtures to pick themselves.
- Foden looks to stand out ahead of other 8.0 midfielders and you could be early to jump on to him.
- Gross is another differential pick and could be right answer to Neto/Bailey replacements you are searching for.
- Subs- Pereira, Williams and Archer
Other Players to consider in Wildcard-
Kane, De Bruyne, Toney, Mbeumo, Dunk, Henry, Dasilva, Gundogan, Walker, Zaha, Ramsdale, Saliba, Rodrigo, Kulusevski, Son, Mitrovic, Dewsbury Hall, etc
