Projections Rank of our FPL Gameweek 22 Captain Picks
(C)andidate | Anytime Returns (FFHUB Tool) | Projected Points (FFHUB) | Safety Ranking | Explosion Rank | Average Rank Factor | Safety + Explosion Rank |
Ronaldo | 84% | 9.5 | 1 | 2 | 1.5 | 1 |
Dennis | 57% | 5.8 | 5 | 4 | 4.5 | 4 |
Kane | 77% | 10.8 | 2 | 1 | 1.5 | 1 |
Jota | 61% | 6.3 | 4 | 5 | 4.5 | 4 |
Maddison | 63% | 8.4 | 3 | 3 | 3 | 3 |
In the Fourth Phase of the article, We have used the Anytime Returns and Projected Points Tools available at Fantasy Football Hub. With the help of the Anytime Returns Tool, I have derived the Safety Rank, which helps in determining the Safest Captaincy Option of the week, while I have used the Projected Points Tool to determine the Explosion Rank, which helps in determining the Most Explosive Option of the week.
Cristiano Ronaldo has the highest Anytime Returns Projections at 84%, while his Projected Points stand at 9.5 for the week.
Harry Kane has the second-to-highest Anytime Returns Projection at 77%, but has the highest Projected Points at 10.8 this week, which ties him with Ronaldo at the top spot.
James Maddison has an Anytime Returns Projections of 63% while his Projected Points stand at 8.4, which puts him in third place after Ronaldo and Kane.
Diogo Jota has an Anytime Returns Projections at 61% and Projected Points at 6.3, giving him the fourth spot, while Dennis has an Anytime Returns Projections at 57% and Projected Points at 6.8, tying him with Jota for the last spot for the week.
Conclusion – Final Rank from our FPL Gameweek 22 Captaincy metric analysis
(C)andidate | Player’s Attack Rank | Team’s Attack Rank | Favourable Fixture Rank | Safety + Explosion Projections Rank | Cumulative Rank Factor |
Ronaldo | 1 | 4 | 1 | 1 | 7 |
Dennis | 5 | 5 | 4 | 4 | 18 |
Kane | 2 | 1 | 2 | 1 | 6 |
Jota | 3 | 2 | 5 | 4 | 14 |
Maddison | 4 | 3 | 3 | 3 | 13 |
In the Fifth and Final Phase of the article, I have aggregated the Ranks derived above to pull out the Cumulative Rank Factor (CRF). The Candidate having the lowest Cumulative Rank Factor is the most ideal Captaincy Option according to this metric.
Quite surprisingly, our pick of the week is Harry Kane, who comes out on top with a CRF Value of 6.
Cristiano Ronaldo with a CRF value of 7 just about gets beaten to second by the Englishman.
Leicester’s James Maddison comes in third behind the Portuguese duo with a CRF value of 13 as Diogo Jota comes fourth with a CRF value of 14.
Emmanuel Dennis finishes dead last, with a CRF value of 18 to round up our captaincy picks for DGW22.
Final Update:
Now that there is a strong possibility that the Spurs vs Arsenal game might be postponed and that Ralf Rangnick has confirmed that Ronaldo should be available tomorrow for the Villa game we suggest you to Captain Ronaldo as he’s closely behind Kane in the metrics. Kane loses the shine as a captaincy choice if the Arsenal vs Spurs game is postponed. Also, if potentially Ronaldo gets benched he’s like to play at least 120 mins(Sub appearance vs Villa + Start vs Brentford) in total compared to Kane who might play just once.
We have tried to help out managers with all the info that we have got. But unfortunately, we might not surely know the status of the Spurs vs Arsenal game before the FPL GW22 deadline.
