Welcome to FPL PAZ’s FPL GW12 Transfer Targets and Watchlist blog, where he highlights the THREE Best Transfer targets in each position for the upcoming Gameweeks. The goal is to give managers a watchlist for both the immediate Gameweek and future Gameweeks. All picks are analyzed with stats, fixtures, and current form. LET’S GET INTO IT:

FPL GW12 Transfer Targets
Ibrahim Konate LIV £5.4
Projected Points GW12-17: 23.0
One of the biggest improvements this FPL season has been Liverpool’s return to being one of the best defenses in the league. At the heart of that defensive solidity has been Konate, who has started every game since GW2. Konate is the cheapest way into the Liverpool defense in the long term and should continue to see great minutes, making him one of the best defensive options on wildcard.
Liverpool’s fixtures are a mix bag with the 5th hardest schedule over the next 6 GWs, but they do turn for the better after that, making him a great long-term option. With so many managers struggling for cash to fit in those premium midfielders, going cheaper on defense with a player like Konate is a strategy I would deploy on Wildcard, and Konate is a player firmly on my watchlist.

Antoine Semenyo BOU £5.7
Projected Points GW12-17: 28.0
One of the template picks in GW6 wildcard, Semenyo is squarely back on the radar as Bournemouth has a great run of fixtures coming up. Bournemouth have the 2 nd easiest fixtures for attackers over the next 6 GWs, which makes a player like Semenyo a great pick as his ceiling is raised for these fixtures. Semenyo already has shown what he can do with 5 attacking returns this season.
Semenyo also has good underlying stats, considering his price with a 0.5 xGI per 90 minutes. There is a worry about Semenyo being on 4 yellow cards, which is one away from a suspension, but with those upcoming fixtures, the risk might be worth it. Great fixtures playing for a team that loves to attack; Semenyo is a great pick for GW12 and onwards.

Alexander Isak NEW £8.5
Projected Points GW12-17: 38.3
With an 11-pointer thanks to his 1 goal and 1 assist in GW11, Isak repaid his inclusion in the GW11 watchlist. Isak remains on the watchlist as he is one of the best differentials in the game at the moment. The way most teams are set up, it will be tough to get to Isak and the premium midfielders you want unless you are on WC. His ownership will remain low for the time being, and with the 3 rd easiest fixtures for attackers in the next 6 GWs, managers should be looking to capitalize on this.
Isak’s underlying numbers also show that he should keep up this production with a 0.6 xGI per 90 minutes. On penalties, explosive point potential, with great fixtures, and still lowly owned, Isak remains the top forward on my watchlist.
