Different Types of Draft Fantasy League Managers
1. The one constantly rejecting Trades
First is the one manager who always rejects trade proposals in a draft mini-league, but to be frank in this case the first proposal would have been a daylight robbery had it been accepted.
2. The one always sending trade offers
If there is one manager that always rejects trade offers there is definitely another one that keeps sending trade offers to tempt other managers in the league. In our league, we have AllAboutFPL Co-Founder who constantly sends trade requests and in the above case he successfully got the Arsenal trio of Neto(Raya was rumored to be injured), Martinelli, and Trossard ahead of their game vs Leicester in GW6 with both Trossard & Martinelli scoring in the game. The other manager(FPL Dallas) did get Semenyo who scored against Southampton that week but Srini emerged to be the biggest winner!
3. Set and forget Manager
There is always one manager in a draft league who picks a great team in the draft and then chills with a set-and-forget team and easily wins every week.
In our league, Team ReddevilRon picked Havertz, Jackson, Jota, Rogers, and Harvey Barnes in his draft all of them went on to be great additions.
4. Haaland & Chill Manager
There is always one draft manager who gets to draft first and then picks Haaland. There should be a draft rule to not allow Haaland to be picked by the person who gets to select players first in a draft league.
Safe to say Haaland owners in draft leagues are off to a flyer with Haaland scoring 10 goals in the first seven games.
Sleeper Draft Fantasy lets you choose between three different draft types -> Snake, Linear & Auction.
5. One checking all the lineups & swapping
There is always one manager in a draft league who constantly checks lineups immediately when they’re announced to pick players and gain an edge. In our league, it’s FPL PAZ’s(Twitter) who gets this title as he’s always the one making late transfers based on lineups.
6. One constantly making roster moves
If there is one set-and-forget manager in a draft league there will also be one manager who is not happy with his draft picks and constantly makes rooster moves!
@TheFPLManual even dropped Chris Wood a few weeks ago which surprised other managers in the league. Safe to say there were many waiver requests for Wood and he was swiftly claimed by FPL PAZ
7. Defender swapper based on Lineups
Even though defenders outside of non-premium ones haven’t been getting big returns there is one manager in every mini-league that constantly swaps between two defenders from the same team to try and get defensive returns.
8. One who benches points regularly
Draft game involves picking players who are all starting options to maximize points scoring and this means there’s going to be points wasted on the bench. There is always one manager in a draft league who specializes in benching returns week in and week out.
9. One who loses to dead teams in the Draft League
No matter how meticulously you plan there are going to be one or two managers who might not be invested heavily in the draft league but still, you’ll find an active draft manager in your draft league to lose to a dead team that has been inactive for a while.
10. One who forgot this game & league exists
Last but not the least, there is always one manager who is super excited for the draft but then completely forgets about the game post the draft.
