Sleeper Draft Fantasy FC Week 2- Tips, New Signings, Punts

New Signings to Premier League:

Sleeper have updated their app and made changes which means that Recent transfers are also available on the app and you can pick them in your Draft teams by submitting waiver claims. The commish can also change the settings how long transferred players will be on waivers(default is 2 days).

Some of the new signings that are Trending on the Sleeper Draft are Felix, De Ligt, Evanilson and Mazraoui. The favourite pick for us among these players is Evanilson signed by Bournemouth. The Brazilian international scored 25 goals and got 7 assists from 42 games playing for FC Porto last season. He also got 4 goals, 1 assist from 7 games in Champions League highlighting his quality against tougher oppositions. He could be sneaky early move in your Draft leagues.

Felix is an interesting long term pick, but is unlikely to start right away. Mazraoui is match fit and looks to be the first choice RB for Manchester United right now already getting a clean sheet in GW1.

Transfers within Premier League:

There were some Transfers happening within the Premier League itself paving way for lower owned roster picks to be good options.

  • Nketiah– Nottingham Forest: Transfer not yet official, Will add him to the bench/watchlist right now
  • Alex Moreno– Nottingham Forest: Loan move for Villa confirmed. Attacking Wing-back
  • Van Den Berg– Brentford: The defender has completed a permanent move from Liverpool signing for Brentford where he should get minutes and help them solve their defenders crisis.
  • Fabio Carvalho– Brentford: Another youngster from Liverpool who has singed for Brentford. He should get plenty of minutes and will be an integral part of Brentford attack in Premier League this season

One Week Punts for Week 2 of Sleeper Draft Fantasy FC game:

Doku

Up against a Promoted Ipswich side at Home who conceded 19 shots, 6 Big chances and 2.75 xGC in GW1- Jeremy Doku could be an exciting punt. With Bobb ruled out and Savinho flagged, Doku’s minutes for the upcoming game vs Ipswich look great. The focus will be the likes of Foden, KDB and Haaland who will be popular Draft picks, but Doku is someone who goes under the radar.

Rico Lewis

Another under-rated pick from Manchester City who has both the form and fixture on his side. He started as RB for City in GW1 but slotted into an midfield position and was also taking advanced positions centrally as well. Lewis also received praise from Pep for his GW1 performance and he is expected to start GW2 as well.

Adama Traore

Adama Traore might not be scoring goals/getting assists like few season before. But he is good punt if you are running out of options(in a big draft league) and want to play the fixture game as he is up against Leicester City. Traore looked decent in GW1 vs Manchester United making some good runs and also had 3 shots.

Kenny Tete

GW1 through a certain surprise with Tete starting over ahead of Castagne as the first choice right back for Fulham. It is time to make use of this. With 2 good fixtures up next for Fulham against promoted sides- Leicester(H) and Ispwich(A), Tete can be an excellent two week punt to Target. He is not a very popular pick which means you should be able to get him through a free trade most likely.
