2024/25 Season FPL Rotational Pairs & Combinations
Aston Villa & Nottingham Forest
Aston Villa and Forest defender rotate well till GW16. Villa’s tough fixtures are well covered by Forest’s better fixtures during that time. Konsa should be a steal at just 4.5 million!
If you rotate Aston Villa and Forest defenders correctly till GW16 as per the rotation mentioned above, you will have-
- 0/16 games against Last season’s Top 6
- 4/16 games against Last season’s 7th-10th placed teams
- 12/16 games against Last season’s 11-17th placed teams and Newly Promoted sides.

Brentford & Southampton
If you are looking for an ultra-cheap FPL rotational pair this is where you should go. Harwood Belis is a starter for Southampton and is kindly priced at 4.0 million. If any of the Brentford defenders who start at 4.5 million(Henry/Mee/Pinnock/Hickey)- This is an excellent rotation. Both Henry(assist potential) and Mee(Set piece threat) have good attacking potential.
If you rotate Brentford and Southampton defenders correctly till GW13 as per the rotation mentioned above, you will have-
- 0/13 games against Last season’s Top 6
- 2/13 games against Last season’s 7th-10th placed teams
- 11/13 games against Last season’s 11-17th placed teams and Newly Promoted sides.
Also with this, you will be having 10/13 as home games as well!
Crystal Palace & Everton
Palace and Everton Defenders rotate well till GW12. If there are 2 starting defenders at 4.5 million or if there is a defender who starts at 4.0 million, This rotational pair makes sense at least until GW12.
If you rotate Palace & Everton defenders correctly till GW12 as per the rotation mentioned above, you will have-
- 0/12 games against Last season’s Top 6
- 2/12 games against Last season’s 7th-10th placed teams
- 10/12 games against Last season’s 11-17th placed teams and Newly Promoted sides.

Nottingham Forest & Leicester City
This is another rotation combination to look out for if you are planning short-term (only till GW10) and are looking for Budget options. Ricardo Pereira is prized at 4.5 million and expect most Leicester and Forest Defenders to be priced at the same. If there is a 4.0 million defender, then it makes it even better! Okoli(4.0) can also be an option- Watchout for pre-season.
If you rotate Forest and Leicester defender correctly till GW10 as per the rotation mentioned above, you will have-
- 0/10 games against Last season’s Top 6
- 1/10 games against Last season’s 7th-10th placed teams
- 9/10 games against Last season’s 11th-17th placed teams and Newly Promoted sides.

Newcastle & Aston Villa
This is one of the Best 2 Defenders Rotations as both teams finished in the Top 8 last season. The player who is benched on this rotation can also be a good option for 1st sub in case there are injuries. Also, this rotation carries you forward till the first half of the season if you plan to Wildcard very late.
Konsa is prized at 4.5 million and should be a started at RB/RCB/CB. Burn is also prized at 4.5 million and if he nails down a spot in pre-season, we could get a good rotation at just 9.0 million. Livramento is also a shout if Trippier leaves Newcastle.
If you rotate them correctly till GW17 as mentioned above, you will have-
- 1/17 games vs Last season Top 6
- 2/17 games vs Last Season 7th-10th placed teams
- 14/17 games vs Last Season 11th-17th placed & Promoted Teams

Brentford & Fulham Rotation
A brilliant rotation combination that has all home games up till GW14, avoids all the big six teams, and has four games against promoted teams.
You could rotate one of the Brentford defenders: Mee/Pinnock//Henry with a Fulham defender: Robinson/Castangne
This could also work out in attack too with an ESR/Muniz rotation with Mbeumo/Wissa.

Budget attacker Rotation
- Rogers £5.0
- Muniz £6.0/Smith-Rowe £5.5
- Forest Attacker(CHO/MGW/Wood)
You’ll Start two of them and then Bench one
If you rotate them correctly till GW6, you will have-
- 0/12 games vs Last season’s Top 6✅
- 2/12 games vs Last Season 7th-10th placed teams✅
- 10/12 games vs Last Season 11th-17th placed & Promoted Teams✅
Other two attacker rotations(Start one and bench one):
- Morgan Rogers and Muniz/Emile Smith Rowe
- Morgan Rogers and Nottingham Forest Attacker(Hudson Odoi/Elanga/Wood/Gibbs-White)

4th/5th Defender and 5th Midfielder Rotation:
Rogers(5.0) and Barco(4.0):
If you rotate them correctly till GW9(as mentioned above), you will have-
- 0/9 games vs Last season Top 6
- 2/9 games vs Last Season 7th-10th placed teams
- 7/9 games vs Last Season 11th-17th placed & Promoted Teams
Estupinan is injured and ruled out of first 2 months of the season. Barco started 3 out of the last 6 PL games of last season when Estupinan was injured. Barco started 2 pre-season games so far at LB and took some set pieces as well. Rogers has 3 goals from 3 pre-season games so far and looks to be a great enabler. Rogers ended last season as well on a high starting 8 PL games from GW28- GW38 getting 3 goals, 1 assist during that time. With Diaby leaving, Rogers is likely to get more minutes as well. Watch out for any new signings though!
Chelsea & Brentford Defenders
Chelsea and Brentford Defenders rotate well for the first half of the season. Chelsea’s tough games between GW8-GW11 where they face Liverpool, Newcastle, Man United and Chelsea are well covered by Brentford who have good fixtures during that time.
If you rotate Chelsea and Brentford defenders correctly till GW18 as per the above rotation, you will have-
- 0/18 games against Last season’s Top 6
- 3/18 games against Last season’s 7th-10th placed teams
- 15/18 games against Last season’s 11th-17th placed teams and Newly Promoted sides.

Manchester United and Everton Defenders
This is a slightly risky rotation as Manchester United did not end the last season strong defensively and conceded lots of shots as well. If they show some form in pre-season and with defenders like Lisandro Martinez (kindly prized at 4.5 million) are fit, this could work out well. Everton have their center backs Tarkowski and Branthwaite prized at 5.0 million and it remains to be seen if there is a route to Everton defense at 4.5 million.
If you rotate Manchester United and Everton defenders correctly till GW14 as per the above rotation, you will have-
- 0/14 games against Last season’s Top 6
- 2/14 games against Last season’s 7th-10th placed teams
- 12/14 games against Last season’s 11th-17th placed teams and Newly Promoted sides.
