12 DAYS. STORM CIARA. 10 GAMES.GW 26 has to be one of the longest game weeks in the recent past with 12 days separating the first and last game for GW26. Storm Ciara caused a brief panic amongst FPL managers with City vs West Ham fixture called off only to rescheduled back in GW26 much to the delight of FPL managers. With a blank GW approaching, FPL GW 27 is crucial to set your team right and here are our differential picks to help you sort your transfers out ahead of the deadline on Saturday.
FPL GW 27 DIFFERENTIAL PICKS TO WATCH OUT:
1. Dele Alli vs Chelsea (A), TSB:5.5%, Price: 8.4 M
Spurs are enjoying a good run of form having registered three consecutive victories including an injury-time winner from Son who has now been ruled out of the season due to injury. In the absence of Kane and Son, Dele Alli will be almost certain to play an advanced role, improving his chances of attacking returns. The spurs attacker had an xG of 1.39 against Villa and was unlucky not to score against the villans. Als, Dele Alli loves a goal or two against London rivals Chelsea and is averaging 7.5 FPL points against Chelsea with 5 goals and two assists in the last six games versus Chelsea.
Key stat: Dele Alli averages 7.5 points per game vs Chelsea 🔥🔥
2. Nicolas Pepe vs Everton (H), TSB: 2.4% Price:9.1M
Nicolas Pepe put on a stunning performance against Newcastle scoring one and assisting two more and rightly bagged three bonus points. Pepe has now scored two twice in the last three home games and has cemented his place in the starting line up and could be a massive differential to consider bringing in ahead of FPL GW 27 deadline.
Pepe could again be a direct replacement for Son, but one thing to keep in mind is that Arsenal blank in GW28 due to carabao cup final.
Key Stat: Nicolas Pepe made four key passes and three shots on goal vs Newcastle 👀👀
3. Matt Doherty vs Norwich (H), TSB: 4.2% PRICE:6.1 M
Doherty has been off the FPL radar this season after being priced as a premium defender and also wolves have not been able to produce CS like the previous campaign. But with Wily Boly back in defense, wolves look solid at the back once again. Attacking wise, Doherty has been unlucky not to have registered attacking returns more than once over the last few weeks and we expect this to be corrected with a big haul in GW27 against a struggling Norwich City
Wolves are one of the four teams not to blank in GW 28 and 31 making Doherty an ideal long term transfer as well.
Key stat: Doherty has had 11 shots in the box and 7 big chances over the last 8 game weeks
4. Jay Rodriguez vs Bournemouth(H) TSB: 0.3% Price: 5.7 Mil
Burnley attackers are always unpredictable to consider as an FPL asset but wait a minute we got a point to make, the former saints and baggies striker jay Rodriguez loves a shot on goal and has registered 15 shots on goal in the last six games including six on target over the last four weeks. Rodriguez and Burnley are up against a Cherries side who have been poor away from home having lost seven of their last eight matches and kept just two clean sheets all season.
Key Stat: Rodriguez has registered the most shots on target by FPL forwards over the last four weeks
5. Richarlison vs Arsenal (H) TSB:9.7% Price:8.2 M
Everton have turned their season around under Ancelotti with the Merseyside club registering 17 points in the last eight games which is only bettered by noisy neighbors Liverpool. Richarlison has played a key part in this revival and has registered 32 points in the last four games including 3 goals, 1 assist, and five bonus points. The Brazilian international is also the fourth-highest scoring midfielder in FPL this season.
Key Stat: Richarlison had the highest shots on goal vs crystal palace (5) one more than DCL 👀
