The fixtures are very tightly packed and things are difficult for both real-life managers and us FPL managers. With just a few GW left, it is very essential that we get the double multiplier offered by the captain option right. The right captain options can reap managers wonders. Here are our captain’s picks for FPL GW 35+

1. Sadio Mane vs Burnley (H)  TSB 20.0%

Sadio Mane wouldn’t surely take the news of his Liverpool teammate Salah picking up goals and nearing the golden boot. With 15 goals and a further 6 assists, Mane is the 3^rd highest in terms of points this season and will look to increase his numbers against Burnley.

He came on at the 61^st minute and will almost surely start against Burnley. With Salah Potentially rested, Mane offers a great choice for the captains Band.

Numbers:

1. Burnley conceded 3 goals in the reverse fixture with Mane in the scoresheet
2. With an xG/90 of 0.49 and a xA/90 of 0.29, he has a lot of chance to be amongst the scoresheet

2. Raheem Sterling vs Brighton (A) TSB 16.6%

Sterling has had a relatively underwhelming season this time around with his teammate Mahrez scoring more points than him.

But we know what this man can do on his day and he looks to be a sure starter against Brighton. With a potential KDB injury, the rest of team will look to pass the ball to Sterling to finish the chances. He’s already had 14 goals and 5 assists and even with these numbers, people claiming he is underwhelming shows his true potential.

Numbers:

1. Brighton have conceded 47 goals till now and City put 4 past them in the reverse fixture.
2.  Sterling has registered 3 goals and 3 assists in 5 matches post the break.
3. With almost 3.18 shots per 90 and an xG/90 of 0.59, an offensively strong city will aid Sterling to score a few goals.

3. Jamie Vardy vs Bournemouth (A) TSB 29.1%

Leicester’s main man Jaime Vardy has been in tremendous form and is ever so close to clinching the golden boot. With 3 goals in the last 2 matches, he goes in to face a really weak Bournemouth. Bournemouth have been quite poor in all areas of the pitch and Vardy and Co. will look to bully them to secure that CL spot.

With a whopping 22 goals, we know that this man can score and should be a great choice for your captain.

1. Bournemouth have conceded a whopping 59 goals which is the 3^rd most by a team in the PL and most since the restart.
2. Don’t let Vardy’s xG of 0.54/min fool you as he has exceeded his expected goals for the season by almost 6 goals!

4. Martial vs Southampton (H) TSB 20%

United under OGS have looked rejuvenated and his front 3 have been extremely clinical in front of goal. With Greenwood starring every match, it is quite easy to overlook Martial’s role in the build-up and his contributions.

With 4 goals and 3 assists since the restart, he’s looked very lively and is on 15 goals and 6 assists for the season.

Numbers:

1. He’s already shattered his best FPL points tally and is the 4^th highest amongst midfielders, above the likes of Sterling, Mahrez, and Willian.
2. Martial has registered 11 shots on goal, scored four goals and made three assists since the season restart with a healthy xG of 0.52 per ninety since the restart.
3. 46 points in the last 5 games registering 9 PPG.
4. Man Utd have created the second most number of big chances in PL since the restart, only man city have registered more big chances since the restart.

FPL GW 35+ Safest Captain Pick:

Of course, Bruno Fernandes is an obvious captain choice for FPL GW 35+ we don’t have to tell you this. Bruno has been averaging a whopping 11 points per game since the season restart with 5 goals and three assists.

FPL GW 35+ Differential Captain:

5. Willian vs Sheffield (A) TSB 11.4%

This man has quickly and quietly climbed to 5^th place amongst midfielders with 159 points and has been very influential for Chelsea since the restart. Frank Lampard seems to trust him with the minutes and he has returned in all but 1 game since the restart.

All the attention is on Pulisic now, but with 4 goals and 2 assist in the last 4 games, Chelsea will look to fire on all cylinders against Sheffield to make 3^rd place theirs and Willian has a key role to play in that. In fact, Willian has outscored Pulisic in all of the last four games in FPL.

Numbers:

1. Chelsea are 4^th in the number of goals scored with 63and with a good partnership with Pulisic on the other wing, his involvement will be high.
2. Willian in his last 6 GW’s has managed to score 59 points, averaging close to 10 PPG. He has managed to score 5 goals and provide 3 assists in last 6 GW’s. Against Crystal Palace, in GW34+ the Brazilian winger registered 3 shots on target, created 3 big chances, and registered 2 assists.
3. Willian has also created the most number of big chances for Chelsea so far this season.
4. With a TSB of 11.4%, he’d be a great differential captain.
5. With an impressive 2.55 Key passes/90 min, he will be highly involved in the goals.
