Team Wise Players to Target from FPL GW9 onwards

Arsenal

Starting off the list are the table toppers, Arsenal. They have scored 14 goals already and have conceded just 3. They have a deep squad and have good set of fixtures coming up with CRY(H), BUR(A), SUN(A), TOT(H) and CHE(A) in the next 5.

Gabriel – 6.3 – 32.8%

Starting off the list is the highest scoring and most selected defender, Gabriel. He has played all possible 720 minutes, has xG of 1.16, 1 goal, 1 assist, 8 bonus points and has scored Defcon points in 3/8 games. Arsenal have the best defense in the league for the past couple of seasons and Gabriel is always a threat considering how much Arsenal rely on set-pieces.

Declan Rice – 6.6 – 10.9%

Next player on the list is Arsenal’s reliable center-mid, who already has 4 goal contributions (1 goal, 3 assist) in the first eight game weeks. At just 10.9% ownership, he is a great player to add in your team and hence he makes the list of Best FPL players you can target from every PL team. He has also scored Defcon points in 2 of his 8 games, almost 30% of his shots come from inside the box, has given 13 key passes and created 3 big chances. Despite overperforming his xGi of 1.7 majorly, Rice is a great assest who can help your rank grow exponentially.

Bukayo Saka – 10.0 – 10.7%

If I told you that by Gameweek 8, Saka would be owned by just 13.8% of players, you would either call me stupid or expect that he has torn his ACL. However, none of these are true and this has presented us with a golden opportunity. You could own one of England’s and Arsenal’s best players for less than 10 million and an ownership of just over 10%. Despite playing just 438 minutes, he has the fourth most shots for the team (11 – 9 of them coming from inside the box), 2 goals from an xGi of 3.1, 13 key passes (highest for arsenal) and has created 2 big chances. He also hit the Defcon threshold in the last game. Don’t miss out!

Eberechi Eze – 7.6 – 13.9%

Next on the list of best FPL players you can target from every PL team is Arsenal’s newest superstar, Eze. In just 459 minutes, he has already taken the most number of shots for the Gunners (18 – 11 coming from inside the box), has 3 assists, 4 key passes and 1 big chance created. He can play on the wing or in midfield and can become an indispensable part of the team as they chase their first Premier League under Arteta.

Odegaard’s injury also improves his minutes.

Jurriรซn Timber – 5.9 – 18.7%

Next on the list is Timber. He has taken 9 shots, with all of them coming from inside the box, has scored 2 goals already, has 2 assists, given 12 key passes, created 2 big chances and has collected 7 bonus points already. Out of 700 minutes, Timber has played 614 minutes, if you cannot afford Gabriel or like someone who is slightly less owned, Timber is your man.

Timber Attack Rank among Defenders this season:

  • Shots on Target- 1st
  • Shots inside the box- 3rd
  • xG- 1st
  • xGI- 2nd
  • Goal Involvements- Joint 1st

Liverpool

Despite not looking as strong as the reigning champions should, Liverpool are still third in the league. They have some very obvious gaps in their team, but they have some good fixtures coming up. BRE(A), AVL(H), MCI(A), NFO(H) and WHU(A) in the next five are not bad fixtures.

Cody Gakpo – 7.5 – 12.6%

Normally a list of Best FPL players you can target from every PL team would include Mo Salah, but this season is different. Salah has looked off color this season and for his price he is not the best asset on the market.

Gakpo on the other hand has the most shots for Liverpool (21) with 15 coming from inside the box. He has 3 goals and 2 assists already this season and with Isak and Ekitike not 100% fit (and him being an obvious favorite of Arne Slot), he should continue to feature in the eleven. He has 17 key passes and 3 big chances created with just 12.6% ownership, he can be a real game changer if he can keep his place in the team after Isak and Ekitike are back.

Ryan Gravenberch – 5.7 – 6.1%

Another centre-mid and Dutch player on the list, Gravenberch has played 602 out of 720 available minutes. He has 10 shots, scored 2 goals, given 2 assists, given 6 key passes, created one big chance and also has reached Defcon points once in the 7 games. With low ownership, a price tag of just 5.7 and a perfect fit into Slot’s system, Gravenberch can be a good differential going forward, if Liverpool can turn their awful form around.

Note: There is an injury concern for Gravenberch. Slot on Gravenberch injury: “Ryan is not available for the Frankfurt game, hopefully he will be available at the weekend.”

Dominik Szoboszlai – 6.5 – 3.7%

The second centre-mid from Liverpool, Szoboszlai has slightly better numbers. He has the joint second-most shots for Liverpool (16), given 11 key passes, created 2 big chances, scored 1 goal and has reached the Defcon threshold thrice in 8 games (this could be due to him being deployed on the right back at times). Similar to Gravenberch, he has a very low ownership and a low price tag on him, making him a potential differential going forward.

Spurs

Third team on the list is Thomas Frank’s Tottenham Hotspurs. They have won 4 of their starting eight games and have looked quite strong already this season under a new manager (if you can look aside the few obvious chinks in their armour). They don’t have the best run of fixtures going forward, but you can still expect them to pick up some points. AVL(H), EVE(A), CHE(H), MUN(H) and ARS(A) are not the worst fixtures, but you can still target teams with better fixtures.

Mohammed Kudus – 6.8 – 35.3%

Next on the list of is Spurs’ new signing, Kudus. Playing 710 out of 720 minutes, Kudus has registered 13 shots (8 coming from inside the box), scored 1 goal, assisted 5 times, given 13 key passes, created 1 big chance and collected 4 bonus points. He has been the focal point of Spurs’ attack and that is expected to continue.

Joรฃo Palhinha – 5.5 – 1.2%

Second Spurs player on this list is the Portuguese, Joao Palhinha. The Portuguese has emerged as a surprising FPL asset this year, scoring 39 points already. In 604 minutes, he has taken 10 shots, scored 2 goals, given 1 assist, given 2 key passes, created 1 big chance, crossed the Defcon threshold in 3/8 games and has 8 bonus points to his name. His returns are not always guaranteed and you’re better off going with Kudus if you want more consistent returns, but for just 5.5, he can help you accomdate the more expensive players while giving you those returns here and there.

Honourable Mention – Xavi Simons, Richarlison(if minutes improve), Guglielmo Vicario

AFC Bournemouth

Despite losing all their star defenders, Bournemouth have had a brilliant start to the season. They are 4th in the league, have won 4 out of their 8 games and look to continue this for the rest of the season. Their fixtures coming up are quite favorable with games against Forest, West Ham, Sunderland and Villa in the next 5. Their next fixtures are: NFO(H), MCI(A), AVL(A), WHU(H) and SUN(A).

Antoine Semenyo – 8.0 – 63.1%

Probably the most exciting player this season, Semenyo has played all 720 minutes for Bournemouth, taking 19 shots (17 from inside the box), scored 6 goals, given 10 key passes, provided 4 assists, has 9 bonus points and has also crossed the Defcon points once already. Anything I tell you about Semenyo, you have probably heard or read about already, so please get him if you don’t already have him.

Marcos Senesi – 5.0 – 26.3%

Senesi has started off exactly where his predecessors left off last season, if not better. He has hit Defcon points in 7 out of his 8 games, where he has played 708 minutes. He also has 4 key passes, 1 big chance created, 6 bonus points and 2 assists to his name. For just 5 million with his defcon potential, Senesi is one to keep an eye out for.

Honorable Mentions – Eli Junior Kroupi, Marcus Tavernier, Adrien Truffert

Manchester City

Next on the list and having not the best start to the season according to their standards, Manchester City are still a team with a lot of potential. The team seems to be clicking together and we could see some fireworks soon. Their fixtures are decent in the next 5 game weeks and we could see them perform: AVL(A), BOU(H), LIV(H), NEW(A) and LEE(H).

Erling Haaland – 14.7 – 65.4%

Haaland has had the start many expected him to, unlike a certain Liverpool Winger. He has blanked only once, and has played 683 out of possible 720 minutes. He has taken a mammoth 34 shots, scored 11 goals, given 4 key passes, created 3 big chances, given 1 assist and has picked up 20 bonus points. He’s more or less a set and forget captain for most weeks and you have to have him.

Tijjani Reijnders – 5.8 – 32.6%

Yet another Dutch player on the list of Players to Target from FPL GW9, Reijnders has fit in well with Pep’s system already. In the 668 minutes that he has played, he has taken 17 shots (10 of them from inside the box), scored one goal, given out 7 key passes, created 2 big chances, given 2 assists, has 2 bonus points and has hit Defcon once in 8 games. He is a very cheap player and probably the best City midfielder.

Phil Foden – 8.1 – 6.2%

Despite playing only 444 minutes, he has taken 10 shots with 5 of them coming from inside the box. He has already scored once and has given out 10 key passes. He has also hit the Defcon once already and has 2 bonus points. As Foden gets more involved in the squad, his potential only increases and is certainly one to keep an eye out for, especially if you’re chasing rank.

Even though Foden has blanked in the last 4 games, Foden looks good on the eye test and has some good underlying numbers- 6 Shots, 1.3 xGI and 8 Chances created.

Gianluigi Donnarumma – 5.7 – 9.5%

Probably the best goalkeeper option alongside Nick Pope, the Italian giant Donnarumma has had a great start to his City career. In the 360 minutes that he has played, he has conceded only 2 goals and has kept 3 clean sheets. He has made a total of 7 saves and looks to improve on that as the season goes on.

Honorable Mentions – Oscar Bobb, Josko Gvardiol and Jรฉrรฉmy Doku

Crystal Palace

Following an impressive FA Cup win last season, Palace have started off well. Currently 8th on the table, they play ARS(A), BRE(H), BHA(H), WOL(A) and MUN(H) in their next five. Palace have beaten teams who are bigger than them on paper in recent times and they are bound to pick up points and score goals despite who they play. You want to go up in ranks? Make sure you have Palace players, because despite being one of the top teams recently, most of their players have an ownership of less than 15%.

Daniel Munoz – 5.6 – 13.1%

Starting the list of Crystal Palace players is Daniel Munoz. He has played all 720 minutes possible this season, has taken 11 shots (second highest for Palace) with 10 coming from inside the box, has scored 1 goal and given 3 assists, made 6 key passes, created 3 big chances, gotten 2 bonus points and hit Defcon points in 3 of his 8 outings. His attacking potential is immense and can also score the odd Defcon points here and there, can be a bargain at 5.6 million.

Jean-Philippe Mateta- 7.6 – 12.1%

Mateta is on the radar for FPL Managers with the fantastic 17 pointer in GW8 vs Bournemouth. After the fixtures vs Arsenal, the fixtures are really good for Palace. He is a good option and is on penalties too.

๐Ÿ“ˆ๐Ÿ”ฅMateta vs Bournemouth:

๐Ÿ”น11 Shots
๐Ÿ”น9 Shots inside the box
๐Ÿ”น3 Goals
๐Ÿ”น3 Big Chances missed
๐Ÿ”น3.48 xG (Highest in a PL game since xG was introduced)
๐Ÿ”น17 FPL Points

Tyrick Mitchell – 5.0 – 2.4%

The famous FPL bargain pick Tyrick Mitchell has quietly been doing the job for Palace. He has played all 720 minutes, taken 5 shots (4 from inside the box), scored one goal, made 8 key passes, and reached Defcon points in 2 out of 8 games. He has scored just two points less than Sarr and at just 2.5% ownership, he is a super differential going forward.

Ismaรฏla Sarr – 6.5 – 8.3%

One of the best mid priced midfielders, Sarr is back from injury and rearing to go. Despite playing just 524 minutes this season, he has taken 8 shots, all from inside the box with 4 of them being on target. He has already scored thrice, given one assist, made 6 key passes and created 2 big chances. 38 points from just 6 appearances, Sarr is in great form despite his injury, get him if you don’t have him already.

Marc Guรฉhi – 4.9 – 31.9%

The highest selected player from Palace, Guehi has been the pick and forget player in the recent years. But with Defcon points coming in, Guehi has a new dimension to him. He has played all minutes possible, taken 6 shots, scored one goal, given 3 key passes, created 3 big chances, assisted 3 times, given 6 key passes, has 3 bonus points and has hit Defcons in 3/8 games. Keep an eye on him.

Honorable Mentions – Yeremy Pino, Adam Wharton, Daichi Kamada

Chelsea

The world champions have not started as well as they should have, currently 5th in the league and missing their star Cole Palmer, they haven’t risen to their expectations yet. Despite that, they have one of the best run of fixtures coming up: SUN(H), TOT(A), WOL(H), BUR(A) and ARS(H) in their next five gameweeks. One can expect their players to rack up points in these games and are certainly a team to target.

Enzo Fernรกndez – 6.7 – 16.2%

Chelsea’s stand-in captain with Reece James in and out of the squad, Enzo has shown glimpses of the guy who Chelsea broke the bank to get after his stellar world cup performance. Despite not playing the last game, in 619 minutes, he has taken 11 shots, scored 3 goals, assisted twice, given 8 key passes, created 1 big chance, hit Defcon once and has 3 bonus points in total. Another brilliant mid priced midfield option, Enzo should be on your shortlist once his injury concerns are behind him.

Maresca on Fernandez: “Enzo took part in the session yesterday, we have one more session and we will see what we do tomorrow. It’s not something to be worried about but we just have to protect Enzo.”

Joรฃo Pedro – 7.5 – 59.2%

Another South American on Chelsea’s books, Pedro has played 676 minutes. He has taken 11 shots, scored 2 goals, played 9 key passes, created 3 big chances and has given 3 assists already. One of the highest owned players in the game, Pedro has blanked in the recent games but with the run of very good fixtures coming up, Pedro offers captaincy options and his high ownership makes him almost unmissable.

Moisรฉs Caicedo – 5.8 – 16.2%

Caicedo, like Enzo, did not start the last game, despite that he has been a shining light for Chelsea. He has taken 8 shots, scored 3 goals, played 1 key pass, and has hit the Defcon in 4 out of 7 games. For just 5.8 million, Caicedo offers both Defcon and attacking potential while being nailed. Don’t miss out if you can have him.

Honorable Mentions – Estevao, Marc Cucurella, Reece James and Pedro Neto

Everton

David Moyes’ Everton had started off well, but a lose to City has them currently 12th in the league with 11 points. Hopefully they can pick up their form again despite a couple of difficult fixtures coming up: TOT(H), SUN(A), FUL(H), MUN(A) and NEW(H). Everton have a number of good FPL picks and you should definitely look at some of them for your team.

Jack Grealish – 6.9 – 18.4%

Everton’s newest star, Jack Grealish has found new freedom at the Toffees. He has played 557 minutes this season, taken 10 shots, 9 of them from inside the box, scored 1 goal, made a mammoth 17 key passes, created 3 big chances and provided 4 assists. He missed the game against Manchester City(as he wasn’t eligible) but will be a key asset for Everton going ahead.

Iliman Ndiaye – 6.5 – 10.8%

Another Everton player who makes the list of best FPL players you can target from every PL team is Iliman Ndiaye. In 675 minutes, Ndiaye has taken 7 shots, scored 3 goals, made 13 key passes, created 3 Big chances, has 1 assist and has reached Defcon threshold in 3/8 games already. Get him before the casuals do!

James Garner – 5.0 – 1.0%

Just like a few other players on this list, James Garner has great underlying stats and has gone unnoticed this season. He has played all 720 minutes this season, taken the most amount of shots for Everton (13), has scored one goal, given one assist, has given 9 key passes, created 2 big chances and reached Defcon threshold in 4/8 games. Get on the Garner train before it is too late!

Michael Keane – 4.5 – 0.9%

Despite Tarkowski getting majority of the limelight at the start of the season, Keane has shown more attacking potential and has also outscored him this season already. In 695 minutes, he has taken 8 shots, scored 1 goal, made 1 key pass, reached Defcon threshold in 4/8 games, averages 9.6 CBIT/game and has one bonus point to his name. For 4.5, he offers immense value.

With Branthwaite undergoing surgery to his hamstring injury, Keane’s minutes are secured.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall – 5.0 – 3.4%

KDH has played 626 minutes this season and at 5.0 million he has already shown great potential. He has taken 6 shots (all of them from inside the box), scored a goal, given an assist, made 12 key passes, created 3 big chances and has 3 bonus points to his name.

Honourable Mention – James Tarkowski and Jordan Pickford

Sunderland

Sunderland have had a great start in their comeback season back to the premier league. 7th in the league, 4 wins already and a run of good fixtures coming up, Sunderland could offer some value. Their next few fixtures are: CHE(A), EVE(H), ARS(H), FUL(A) and BOU(H).

Omar Alderete – 4.1 – 6.9%

Alderete, who started off as a 4.0 million defender, is the best pick under 4.5 million you can probably have. He has played 668 minutes and despite injury scare, featured in Gameweek 8. He has already registered 6 shots (all from inside the box), has scored 1 goal, given 2 key passes, assisted once, has 4 bonus points and has hit the Defcon threshold in 4/8 games. He’s a brilliant budget enabler and should be on your team if you’re on the lookout for cheap players.

Granit Xhaka – 5.0 – 4.2%

Xhaka’s return to the Premier League has been great. He has played all 720 minutes, taken 4 shots, made 10 key passes, created 4 big chances, given 3 assists, and has reached the Defcon potential in 5/8 games. One of the best, if not the best, performing 5 million midfielder in the game right now, Xhaka should be on your watchlist.

Robin Roefs – 4.6 – 5.4%

Last Sunderland player on the list is the current highest scoring goalkeeper, Roefs. He has kept 4 clean sheets in 8 games and has conceded just 6 goals, while being priced at just 4.6. He has made 27 saves (averaging a little more than 3 saves per 90) and at just 5.4% ownership, he can be a real rank booster in the coming weeks.

Honourable Mentions – Wilson Isidor

Manchester United

The Red Devils have struggled again this season and despite the win against Liverpool are 9th in the table, however they have a couple of FPL prospects who are worth looking at. Their next few fixtures have the potential for some of their prospects to score a few points: BHA(H), NFO(A), TOT(A), EVE(H) and CRY(A).

Bruno Fernandes – 8.9 – 16.7%

One player who will always make the list of Players to Target from FPL GW9 is Bruno Fernandes. In 712 minutes this season, Bruno has taken 18 shots, scored 2 goals, given 1 assist, made 22 key passes, created 2 big chances and reached Defcon threshold in 2/7 games. At 9.0, he is quite pricey and hasn’t justified it yet, but Bruno has immense potential both defensively and going forward. It could have been a different story if he has scored both the penalties. Don’t rule him out yet.

Bryan Mbeumo – 8.1 – 13.7%

Manchester United’s superstar signing, Mbuemo has shown glimpses of his brilliant form at Brentford in the seasons gone, but is yet to replicate the same FPL point tally. In 686 minutes this season, he has taken 20 shots, scored 2 goals, given 13 key passes, created 2 big chances, given 1 assist, and has 5 bonus points. At 8.1, he is a little expensive and is yet to show ROI, but if United can turn their form around, he could be valuable.

Honourable Mentions – Diogo Dalot, Amad Diallo, Harry Maguire and Patrick Dorgu

Newcastle United

Newcastle has scored only 9 points in 8 games this season and most of it can be due to the Isak saga mixed with a tough start to the season. With a few easy games coming in (mixed with a couple of tough games), Newcastle’s players could potentially score a few points soon. Their next few fixtures are: FUL(H), WHU(A), BRE(A), MCI(H) and EVE(A).

Nick Woltemade – 7.2 – 11.8%

Despite playing just 395 minutes this season, he has already scored 4 goals. A threat in the air, Woltemade has taken 11 shots, made 2 key passes and already has 6 bonus points. If he can continue this form, Newcastle would not miss Isak for too long.

Dan Burn – 5.1 – 9.2%

Only two players have played all 720 minutes for Newcastle this season and one of them is Burn. His attacking potential has dwindled down from past few seasons, taking just 2 shots, but he has given one assist, given 3 key passes, has 4 bonus points and scored Defcon points in 4/8 games.

Nick Pope – 5.2 – 11.5%

Second highest scoring goalkeeper in the game, Nick Pope has kept 5 clean sheets in 8 games while conceding just 7. He averages just under 3 saves per game and has 3 bonus points to his name already. One of the best goalkeeper options in FPL, keep an eye out for him.

Honorable Mentions – Anthony Gordon and Bruno Guimarรฃes

Brighton Hove Albion

Brighton have not had the best start to the season, currently 10th in the league, won only 3 games and have looked a shell of their previous self. Their next few fixtures could have some potential in terms of their players scoring a few points as their next 5 fixtures include: MUN(A), LEE(H), CRY(A), BRE(H) and NFO(A).

Yankuba Minteh – 6.0 – 3.6%

The only real asset from Brighton from a FPL perspective is their young winger, Yankuba Minteh. He has played 682 minutes this season, taken 13 shots (12 from inside from the box), scored 1 goal, given out 13 key passes, created 3 big chances, and given 2 assists. He has also hit Defcon threshold in one of the eight games this season. At just 6 million, he offers hope in a bleak Brighton squad.

Danny Welbeck – 6.3 – 2.9%

The veteran striker is not a guaranteed starter for the Seagulls, but when he has played, he has been one of their best players. In 457 minutes this season, Welbeck has registered 9 shots, scored 4 goals, given 5 key passes, and earned 6 bonus points. With a return to England International team being discussed, we could Danny Welbeck start more often for Brighton.

Honorable Mentions – Jan Paul van Hecke and Mitoma Kaoru

Aston Villa

Currently 11th in the league, just like Brighton, Aston Villa have looked a shell of their previous selves and currently find themselves mid-table rather than in and around the top 7 like we are used to seeing them under Emery. After a slow start to the season, their season is finally picking up with 3 wins on the go. They do have a few tough fixtures coming up mixed with a few favorable encounters: MCI(H), LIV(A), BOU(H), LEE(A) and WOL(H).

Matty Cash – 4.6 – 5.1%

The Polish International has played 698 minutes this season, where he has taken 7 shots, scored 1 goal, given 6 key passes, hit the Defcon in 1/8 games and gotten 2 bonus points. If they can continue their good form, Cash can be a good option in the coming gameweeks.

Morgan Rogers – 6.8 – 5.0%

The young English star made a lot of our lives miserable in the starting few gameweeks of the season, but looks to have finally found form. In 712 minutes this season, he has taken 8 shots, scored 1 goal, given 8 key passes, created 4 big chances and given out 2 assists. Just like Cash, Rogers can be a good pick if Villa can continue their golden form.

Brentford

After losing both Bryan Mbuemo and Yoane Wissa, Brentford have struggled to find themselves this season. Sitting on 13th with just 9 points, their next few fixtures are not favourable but the game against Burnley in GW13 could offer some respite. Their next five games are: LIV(H), CRY(A), NEW(H), BHA(A) and BUR(H).

Igor Thiago – 6.1 – 3.9%

Probably the only real FPL assest from Brentford this season, Igor Thiago has scored 5 goals already. In 654 minutes, he has taken 18 shots, given out 4 key passes, created 1 big chance, and has 6 bonus points to his name already. At just 3.9% ownership, Thiago can be a good differential going forward especially with the lack of good forward options this season.

Fulham

With 8 points from 8 games and 3 back to back losses, Fulham currently sit 15th on the table. They have a couple of good fixtures coming up with NEW(A), WOL(H), EVE(A), SUN(H) and TOT(A) in their next five games.

Alex Iwobi – 6.5 – 1.5%

The ex-Arsenal man, Alex Iwobi is the highest point scorer for Fulham this season. In 637 minutes, he has taken 10 shots, scored 1 goal, given out 13 key passes, created 2 big chances, provided 2 assists and earned himself 5 bonus points.

Joachim Andersen – 4.5 – 3.9%

A Defcon monster, Andersen has crossed the threshold 6 out of 8 times this season (6 out of 7, considering he limped off in Fulham’s last game without playing the full 90). In 672 minutes, he has scored 28 points. Have an eye on injury news if you are buying him.

Leeds United

The second promoted team in this list, Leeds sit two positions above the relegation spot in 16th with 8 points. They have a few players who have useful FPL potential and could be utilized especially in their GW9 fixture against West Ham. Their next few fixtures are: WHU(H), BHA(A), NFO(A), AVL(H) and MCI(A).

Anton Stach – 5.1 – 3.3%

Starting the list off we have Stach. In 680 minutes this season, Stach has taken 14 shots, scored 1 goal, given out 13 key passes, created 3 big chances, provided 2 assists, earned 3 bonus points and also crossed the Defcon threshold in 2/8 games this season. At 5.1 million, he provides good bench option for most teams.

Joe Rodon – 4.1 – 5.8%

Another good bench fodder option, Rodon is one of the best cheap defender options. He has played all 720 minutes this season, taking 7 shots (all from inside the box), scored 1 goal, provided 1 key pass, earned 1 bonus point, and has crossed the Defcon threshold in 2/8 games.

Sean Longstaff – 4.9 – 0.9%

Another Centre-mid in this list of best FPL players you can target from every PL team, Longstaff has already scored and assisted one goal each this season. In 567 minutes, he has also taken 8 shots, provided 17 key passes, created 3 big chances, crossed Defcon threshold 2/8 times and earned 3 bonus points.

Burnley

The last promoted team in this list, Burnley sit 17th in the table with 7 points. Their next few fixtures do have some favorable match-ups, so keep an eye out for them: WOL(A), ARS(H), WHU(A), CHE(H) and BRE(A).

Jaidon Anthony – 5.7 – 6.9%

Jaidon Anthony has probably been the most in-form player for a recently promoted side this season. In 674 minutes, Anthony has taken 12 shots, scored 4 goals, assisted 1, given out 7 key passes and earned himself 5 bonus points. Burnley play West Ham, Wolves and Brentford in their next five games, so look out for him, he could be a gem!

Josh Cullen – 5.0 – 2.4%

Another player who has already scored 40 points this season (average of 5 per game), we have Josh Cullen. In 682 minutes, he has taken 2 shots, scored 1 goal, given out 8 key passes, created 1 big chance, assisted 1 time and hit the Defcon threshold in 5/8 games, while picking up 5 bonus points.

Honorable Mentions – Martin Dรบbravka, Maxime Estรจve, and Florentino

Nott’m Forest

What started off as a very promising season with a number of promising FPL assets have slowly turned into a disaster. With a third manager coming in soon, Forest currently sit 18th with 5 points to their name. Sean Dyche is the man coming in and with BOU(A), MUN(H), LEE(H), LIV(A) and BHA(H) in their next five, we would hope Forest can benefit from the new manager bounce.

As of right now, it is hard to suggest assets from Forest since it is yet to be seen how Dyche lines up. But Chris Wood and Elliot Anderson along with Murillo/Milenkoviฤ‡ could be beneficiaries of his system.

West Ham

With just one win this season, West Ham sit in 19th. They have got Nuno Espรญrito Santo at the helm but are yet to win under him, but this could change with a run of decent fixtures coming up for the Hammers. In their next five fixtures they play: LEE(A), NEW(H), BUR(H), BOU(A) and LIV(H).

Jarrod Bowen – 7.8 – 9.1%

Despite West Ham’s awful form, Bowen has continued to shine. In 720 minutes that he has played this season (on the wings and as a striker), he has taken 17 shots – 12 from inside the box, scored 3 goals, given out 6 key passes, created 1 big chance and earned 9 bonus points. Bowen is currently my second favorite forward option in the league after Haaland.

Lucas Paqueta – 5.9 – 3.0%

Another shining light in the bleak West Ham team, Paqueta has taken 10 shots, scored 2 goals (including a screamer against Chelsea), given out 11 key passes, created 2 big chances, earned 2 bonus points and crossed the Defcon threshold 3/8 games. If West Ham can turn their fortunes around with the good fixture run, Paqueta can be a huge differential priced at just 5.9.

El Hadji Malick Diouf – 4.4 – 3.8%

West Ham’s new signing Diouf has looked like one of their sharpest players since the first game. In the 675 minutes that he has played for the Hammers, he has taken 5 shots, given out 7 key passes, created 1 big chance, provided 4 assists, earned 1 bonus point and reached the Defcon threshold in 1/8 games.

Note: Despite having been one of West Ham’s best players this season, Diouf was randomly benched in GW8 by Nuno. Watchout for few more weeks if you are planning to buy him.

Wolverhampton Wanderers

The last team on the list is the only team to not win a single game this season. All their assets have been poor from a FPL perspective with their highest scorer being Muntesi with just 23 points. I would avoid Wolves altogether for right now, unless we see a drastic change in their performance.
