Complete Review of fpl.page Website & FPL Focal App

FPL has been growing at a rapid pace over the last few years. This season, there are more than 12.1 million registered accounts at the time of writing, the highest the game has ever seen since its launch in 2002. Back in the days, managers had to rely only on the official website for stats & updates, but with the game gaining popularity, there are quite a lot of FPL tools in the market now that help managers to access stats and content, many of them offer their services for free as well. One such tool is fpl.page website & app created by Oscar(@FPLFocal). In this blog, we review the features of fpl.page website and app.

Review of fpl.page website & FPL Focal App

Homepage/Homescreen

fpl.page homepage

The homepage/homescreen is the Swiss Army Knife of fpl.page website and app, containing 24 different widgets that offer everything a manager would need, right from bonus points tracker, expected data, latest price changes, fixture ticker, clean sheet odds, and more.

If you get a premium subscription/membership, you’ll be able to customize the homepage by removing and moving around widgets as per your choice. You can also change the theme of the tool/app(16 different options, including dark mode) to various backgrounds if you’re on the premium plan.

Bonus Points tracker

The tool has a separate bonus points page/screen to track bonus points, goals, and xG, which is very handy to get a quick overview of the scores & check how your players are performing. You can also wish to hide xG and completed games through the toggle.

Defensive points tracker

The DEFCON points tracker on fpl.page gives FPL managers the ability to check DEFCON of players in real-time. The +2 icon shows players who have already crossed the DEFCON threshold(10 for defenders, 12 for midfielders & attackers). The UI is very clean and neat, managers have the ability to add xG, saves, and bonus points as well, which makes it easy to track everything from one page. Managers can also hide completed games from the screen so that they can focus on games that are happening live.

Stats

fpl.page & fpl focal app stats

The stats page/screen allows managers to check a wide range of player stats, ranging from goals, assists, xG, xA, xGI, xGC, DEFCONs, DEFCONs/90, DEFCONs success %, saves, saves/90, and more. The stats can be filtered by position, team, and the stat you are interested in checking.

Premium subscribers can also customize the tables with up to three extra filters and also have access to plug & play tables, which include Defcon beasts, High-floor players (4+ points hit rate), xGI players, and Haul percentages.

Expected data

fpl.page & fpl focal app - Expected data

The expected data page/screen allows managers to check xG, xA, xGI(total and per 90), which can be filtered by position and teams.

All stats, expected data are the same as what you’ll find on the Official FPL Website/App. The benefit of using fpl.page website/app over the official FPL website/app is that the UI is clean, you have more filters, and the ability to view total & /90 numbers, which makes it easy to find the data you want to see.

Fixture Ticker

fpl.page & fpl focal app - Fixture Ticker

The standard version of the fixture ticker is the same as the one you can find on the FPL website, but you can customize the FDR by removing teams and gameweek as you like, sort by easiest and hardest fixtures, which are not possible on FPL website/app.

Subscribers can also sort the FDR by attack and defence, plus customise & save how difficult each team’s fixtures appear in the fixture ticker, which is quite handy because most managers complain about the difficult rating of teams given by Official FPL’s FDR. Free users can also customize FDRs, but they are only saved temporarily without a subscription.

Subscribers can also select a team and find the best rotation for that particular team.

Other features on fpl.page and FPL Focal App

Team & player odds

You can find team and player odds for the upcoming gameweek. Odds are available for free from 24 hours before a deadline. Subscribers can access them at any time. The odds are sourced from Spreadex.

Price changes:

You can check price changes once it has happened on the price changes page.

Suspension Tracker

Another handy page, the suspension tracker, lets you track players who are close to suspension. A player receives a one-game ban if he picks up five yellow cards in the first 19 games, 2 game ban if he picks up 10 yellow cards in the first 32 games, and a 3 game ban if he picks up 15 yellow cards in 38 games.

There are also other features like injury tracker and set piece takers list, which are based on the data from the Official FPL website and app. The injury tracker page does have a group by team option and the ability to filter by when the flag was added, which is not available on the Official FPL website and app.

Users can also track all-time FPL manager teams, track top 10K manager stats, check live rank, which is powered by fpl gameweek website, check captaincy rating powered by FPL Review.

Overall, it’s a handy website/app for FPL managers to get real-time data in just a few clicks. The UI/UX of it is really good, unlike the latest FPL Website/App. The free version is packed with a lot of features, if you want to remove ads and get a bit more of customization, then the paid membership/subscription is worth subscribing to as well.
