Gameweek 2 kicked off with some massive scores for the Bench Boost and Non-Bench Boost crowd, some huge hauls, popular captains hauling, and some big points for our Differentials.
3 of our 6 picks returned big points.
- Wissa โ 1 Goal, 2 Bonus โ 8 Points
- Cherki โ 2 Goals, 3 Bonus โ 14 Points
- Cunha โ 2 Assists, 1 Bonus โ 9 Points
That makes it 6/12 picks that have achieved success.
In this article, we will be highlighting 5 Players who are less than 10% owned and 1 ultra-differential (less than 1% Owned) for all of you as of Thursday 3rd September, 2026. There are many more whom you guys can consider if you decide not to go with the 6 players mentioned below.

FPL GW3 Differential Picks
Phil Foden โ Manchester City โ 7.0 Midfielder โ 5.1 % TSB

- Manchester City have the highest odds of scoring the most goals this Gameweek. They are predicted to score close to 3 Goals. Going with only Haaland may not be enough this Gameweek. While Managers are flocking to Cherki, Foden remains overlooked. Yet the matchup this week favors Foden as compared to Cherki.
- Coventry City have conceded 12 Chances from their left-hand side, which is the highest in the League. Foden has been playing on the Right side under Maresca and could really profit this Gameweek.
- Foden actually ranks higher than both Cherki & Semenyo for xGI among the City midfielders. He is ranked 4th best for Midfielders in the League for xGI. He has had 3 Shots in the box and 2 Shots on Target. He has created 3 Big Chances and played 5 key passes and has been really unlucky not to get a Goal this season.
- He missed two big chances last Gameweek against Palace, and that could be a confidence issue. A Goal will boost that confidence sky high. Foden is also drifting inside and taking advanced positions in the six-yard box. He is more likely to play close to 90 minutes compared to Cherki & Semenyo. All we need is a goal & I smell it coming soon.

Kristoffer Ajer โ Brentford โ 4.5 Defender โ 5.0 % TSB

- Brentford have the 2nd-best clean sheet odds this Gameweek, and Sunderland usually tend to struggle away from home. Brentford have also looked strong defensively as they have only conceded the 3rd-lowest xG in the League. Only Arsenal & City rank above Brentford in this metric. Brentford have also looked threatening from set pieces as they have had 21 shots, which is 9 more than any other team. Their centre-backs are the primary targets from such situations.

- Ajer is one of 4 defenders who has banked DEFCON in both games and is averaging close to 14 DEFCONs per 90 minutes. Ajer also offers a cheap route into the Brentford defence & forms a good rotation with Newcastle defenders (people are targeting Newcastle defenders in Gameweek 3 Wildcards)

Morgan Gibbs White โ Nottingham Forest โ 7.9 Midfielder โ 9.5 % TSB

- Gibbs White has scored a remarkable 13 Premier League Goals this calendar year, which is the best among all players. He is Forestโs clear talisman and now has an added benefit. Gibbs White stepped up to take a spot-kick when players like Delap & McAtee were present on the pitch. With a share of set pieces and direct free kicks in his locker, Gibbs White becomes a very interesting option for the future Gameweeks.
- Gibbs White faces the Bottom 4 teams over the next 4 Gameweeks. Spurs, Villa, Palace & Coventry have conceded 20 goals so far and are yet to keep a Clean Sheet. Going for a reliable player who has scored more than 140 FPL points in each of the last 4 seasons and the Talisman for Forest, is a wise & safe decision.

Cody Gakpo โ Liverpool โ 7.1 Midfielder โ 8.3 % TSB

- Gakpo has looked Liverpoolโs most threatening player so far this season. After grabbing a Goal and an Assist in the opening 2 Gameweek, Gakpo will look to continue his fine form, especially after the arrival of positional rival Bradley Barcola. Gakpo should be safe to start this Gameweek and has some decent stats with 1 Shot on Target, 2 Shots in the Box, 5 Chances created and 1 Big Chance created.
- What makes Gakpo a great pick is that Liverpool play Ipswich this Gameweek โ the team that has conceded the most Big Chances, the most Shots, the most xG and the joint most Goals so far this season. Liverpool then play Fulham, another team struggling for form this season. Get Gakpo for these next 2 Gameweeks, and hopefully he can get you a big haul, and then you can assess the FPL landscape.

Lewis Hall โ Newcastle United โ 5.1 Defender โ 9.0 % TSB

- Newcastle embark on some brilliant fixtures now with not a single game against the Traditional Big 6 sides until Gameweek 11. The key to Newcastleโs great performances have been Wissa, Elanga & Lewis Hall. While the former 2 have scored in both games, Hall has been a rock at the back.

- Hall has banked Defcon in both games this season, which is quite unusual for a marauding full-back. He also has a share of set pieces, having taken corners from 1 side and some free kicks. He has also been playing really high up the pitch, having registered 18 Final 3rd touches against Spurs, which was actually the most of any Newcastle player in that game.

Ultra Differential Pick for FPL GW3 (Under 1 % Ownership)
Nicolas Jackson โ Aston Villa โ 6.5 Forward โ 0.9 % TSB

- Here is our weekly roundup of the Hull City section. Last week we went for Awoniyi and failed. This week, we will go for another Striker against Hull. We will keep on targeting Hull City until we grab a mega haul against them. Hull City have kept 2 Clean Sheets but have been fortunate to do so (mainly thanks to their Goalkeeper). They have conceded 32 Shots so far, which is 6th worst in the League.
- Most of these attempts have been conceded from the Center of the pitch, as they have conceded 45% of their chances from the middle of the pitch. This could make Nicolas Jackson an interesting pick this Gameweek. Jackson played 70 minutes for Villa last Gameweek and should be good for more minutes this Gameweek. Jackson hit Double Digits for Goals in the 2 seasons he played for Chelsea and will now be Villaโs main man, with Watkins gone & Madjo injured. Hoping that its 3rd time lucky while targeting Hull City. Sorry Hull City fans!!!
Thatโs it for Gameweek 3. We will be back with 6 More Differentials next Gameweek, where we will be hoping to get some positive returns from our current selected Differentials for Gameweek 3.
