Top Fixtures and Players to Target for Matchday 3 in World Cup Fantasy
Bosnia and Herzegovina vs Qatar (24 June)
Bosnia and Herzegovina need a win to keep their hopes of qualifying as a third-placed side alive after losing to Switzerland in the second round. Qatar are already eliminated, making this their most winnable fixture. S. Kolasinac ($4.3m-DEF) is the experienced Bosnia defender to target here, a veteran leader who provides an attacking threat from set-pieces and gives the best value from their backline.

Brazil vs Scotland (24 June)
Brazil need a win if they want to keep their first position in Group C, while Scotland desperately need a win to stay alive. This is a good fixture for the Brazilian assets. Vinicius Jr ($10.0m-MID) delivered his best performance of the tournament against Haiti, scoring a goal and providing an assist, and is the clear standout pick. M. Cunha ($7.3m-FWD) scored twice against Haiti with composed, clinical finishes and is in brilliant form as Brazil’s most reliable number 9 of the tournament so far. Morocco vs Haiti (24 June)
Morocco are almost through and facing an already-eliminated Haiti, making this an ideal fixture for their assets. A. Hakimi ($6.0m-DEF) and N. Mazraoui ($4.4m-DEF) are both excellent full-back options who contribute significantly in attack, with Hakimi coming close to scoring against Scotland in Round 2. C. Riad ($3.9m-DEF) is a solid defensive pick at a very cheaper price. In midfield, both I. Saibari ($6.8m-MID) and B. Diaz ($6.4m-MID) have been outstanding, Saibari has scored in both of Morocco’s matches so far, while Diaz has been the creative engine behind every dangerous with attack providing two assists.

South Korea vs South Africa (24 June)
South Korea need at least a draw here to guarantee progression, while South Africa are virtually eliminated. Kim Seung-Gyu ($4.1m-GK) kept South Korea solid in the opening matches and should be well placed for a clean sheet here. Lee Han-Boem ($3.7m-DEF) has been a reliable part of their defensive structure as such a cheap option. Son Heung-Min ($7.4m-FWD) has yet to find the net at this tournament but has been consistently threatening, against one of the tournament’s weakest defences, this is his best chance yet.

Germany vs Ecuador (25 June)
Germany are already through as group winners and Ecuador desperately need a win to qualify. D. Undav ($6.6m-FWD) is the only standout asset here after his sensational super-sub performance against Ivory Coast, scoring the equaliser and the dramatic injury-time winner to give Germany the points.
Ivory Coast vs Curacao (25 June)
Ivory Coast need a result to keep their qualification hopes alive, and Curacao, who held Ecuador to a 0-0 draw but were dominated 7-1 by Germany, are their most manageable remaining opponent. Y. Fofana ($4.2m-GK) is their budget goalkeeper option. G. Doue ($3.9m-DEF) provides an interesting attacking threat from the back. F. Kessie ($5.9m-MID) scored the opening goal against Germany in Round 2 with a sharp finish in the box and is on penalties, he is the midfield asset to own. A. The Netherlands are almost through after their 5-1 win over Sweden in Round 2 and face a Tunisia side already eliminated. D. Dumfries ($5.7m-DEF) was a constant attacking threat down the right in Round 2 and is one of the best defenders in the game for this round. C. Summerville ($5.3m-MID) has been electric when called upon, two goals and one assist in two matches so far. C. This is the match of Round 3 in Group I, both teams have six points and are already through, but the group winner will have a more favourable path to the final. K. Mbappe ($10.5m-FWD) has scored a brace in every single group game so far, four goals in two matches, and seems the most essential premium asset of the round. M. Olise ($9.5m-MID) has been the creative force behind France’s goals all tournament by providing one assist in each match. On the Norwegian side, E. Senegal vs Iraq (26 June)
Senegal need a result to secure a knockout place and face the weakest team of the group, Iraq. S. Spain stands at top of the table for the moment, while Uruguay need a result to progress. Spain are the best team in the group and should approach this as a must-win for the top spot. M. Belgium vs New Zealand (26 June)
Belgium have two draws from two matches and desperately need a win against New Zealand to qualify. T. Courtois ($4.9m-GK) has been great in both of Belgium’s draws, his saves have kept them in contention, and a clean sheet against New Zealand could easily happen if they don’t make strange mistakes in defence. M. De Cuyper ($4.7m-DEF) is one of the more interesting budget Belgian defensive picks with some attacking potential on the left, as he showed it well in the second round against Iran. K. De Bruyne ($7.5m-MID) is still Belgium’s best player and the engine of the team, with Belgium needing a win, he must show his quality in this match against one of the weakest teams of the tournament.
Egypt vs Iran (26 June)
Egypt go into Round 3 with four points and can qualify by not losing any point, but will want to top the group with a win. M. Salah ($10.0m-MID) has been magnificent throughout, an assist against Belgium, and a goal and assist in the 3-1 win over New Zealand, and is arguably the most consistent and impactful player of Egypt in the tournament so far.
England vs Panama (27 June)
England drew 0-0 with Ghana in Round 2 in an underwhelming performance but are still in first place after their Round 1 win over Croatia. Panama are eliminated, making this a great fixture for England’s assets. H. Kane ($10.5m-FWD) will be eager to add to his two goals from Round 1, he looked frustrated in Round 2 and will be very hungry to score. J. Pickford ($4.8m-GK) should have a quieter game and is a good premium clean sheet option. E. Portugal responded brilliantly from their Round 1 draw with a 5-0 demolition of Uzbekistan in Round 2, and now face Colombia in a top-of-the-group clash. C.
