Best Teams & Players to Target: Group I

(France, Senegal, Iraq & Norway):

France, the champion of 2018 and runner-up of 2022, should probably play in the toughest group of the tournament, while they are again one of the favorites this year and surely the most powerful team in the group. M. Maignan ($5.0m-GK) is a safe pick in goal, while one of W. Saliba ($5.3m-DEF), D. Upamecano ($5.3m-DEF) & I. Konate ($4.9m-DEF) should be benched so that the other two can play as center-back. J. Kounde ($5.4m-DEF) can also offer attacking points as a defender, just a similar and maybe safer pick compared to T. Hernandez ($4.0m-DEF). There are also many interesting attacking picks here: K. Mbappe ($10.5m-FWD), the Golden Boot winner of 2022 and their talisman with 47G+A for Real Madrid this season, O. Dembele ($10.0m-MID) the PSG superstar, M. Olise ($9.5m-MID) with a fantastic record of 22G+26A in Bayern Munchen this season & R. Cherki ($7.8m-MID) the young rising star of Manchester City.

Norway and Senegal share the chance to finish as the second team in this group, while Norway counts on E. Haaland ($10.5m-FWD), as one of the best strikers in the world with the unbelievable record of 16G+3A during the qualification round, Senegal’s talisman is S. Mane ($7.6m-MID). Iraq seems to have such an unlucky draw to be in this group and have the lowest chance to advance to the next round, so there is no interesting fantasy pick among them.

Best Teams & Players to Target: Group J

Group J (Argentina, Algeria, Austria & Jordan):

The 2022 champion, Argentina, has relatively easy fixtures in the group stage, and they need to be in form if they wish to defend their crown this year. E. Martinez ($5.0m-GK) & C. Romero ($4.9m-DEF) are the safest defensive picks in terms of starting the match, while N. Otamendi ($4.4m-DEF) & N. Molina ($4.4m-DEF) may seem a bit risky. L. Messi ($10.0m-FWD) is surely the best attacker among them, considering his great form recently and the best record in goal contributions among all South American players during the qualifications.

L. Martinez ($8.8m-FWD) & J. Alvarez ($8.6m-FWD) are also in form and are good options if we know which one will start, with the second name having mostly been chosen over the other one. M. Sabitzer ($6.8m-MID) & M. Arnautovic ($6.0m-FWD) are good fantasy picks from Austria in attack, while M. Amoura ($6.2m-FWD) is the best Algerian player with the highest number of goal contributions (10G+4A) among all African players in the qualifying round. Jordan has the lowest odds in this group, so there is no player to suggest for your fantasy team.

Best Teams & Players to Target: Group K

Group K (Portugal, DR Congo, Uzbekistan & Colombia):

Portugal is going to play in one of the easiest groups this year, and there are a bunch of players to select from. D. Costa ($4.9m-GK) & R. Dias ($5.0m-DEF) are safe options among defensive players, while J. Cancelo ($5.3m-DEF) & N. Mendes ($5.8m-DEF) can add attacking returns to the possible clean sheet points. B. Fernandes ($8.5m-MID), the Premier League player of the season, is the safest attacking option with too much potential to return as his current form is fantastic. C. Ronaldo ($10.0m-FWD) & J. Felix ($6.5m-FWD) both seem attractive considering the form they had this season together and the thirst they feel to win this year, while the first one is still a better pick.

Colombia can also do a great job in this group and easily finish as the second team with C. Vargas ($4.3m-GK), D. Munoz ($4.6m-DEF) & D. Sanchez ($4.3m-DEF) as reliable options in defense. L. Diaz ($8.1m-MID) & J. Rodriguez ($6.5m-MID) each had 10 goal contributions during the qualification round, which makes them clear attacking options from their team. Uzbekistan and DR Congo don’t expect to do well in this group, and there is no fantasy suggestion among their players.

Best Teams & Players to Target: Group L

Group L (England, Croatia, Ghana & Panama):

England is one of the favorites of the tournament, and they are looking forward to finally winning a trophy this year. J. Pickford ($4.8m-GK), E. Konsa ($4.8m-DEF), M. Guehi ($5.1m-DEF) & R. James ($5.2m-DEF) are expected to start the match and are considered their best defensive options. H. Kane ($10.5m- FWD), with an unbelievable season with Bayern Munich (58G+7A all competitions), is clearly their attacking pick, while it would be difficult to select among J. Bellingham ($8.3m-MID), B. Saka ($9.5m-MID) & D. Rice ($7.0m-MID) as the second option.

Croatia is predicted to finish behind England with D. Livakovic ($4.5m-GK), J. Gvardiol ($5.0m-DEF) & J. Stanisic ($4.3m-DEF) in the defense line and I. Perisic ($5.4m-FWD) & A. Kramaric ($6.2m-FWD) as their attacking options with good form and history. A. Semenyo ($7.2m-FWD) & J. Ayew ($5.3m-FWD) are also interesting picks from Ghana if you wish to select any of their players, while there is no interesting option from Panama to target.
