Top FPL GW25 Differential Picks
Ismaila Sarr vs Brighton(A), £6.3m, TSB: 2.2%
Sarr has returned from AFCON and played 90 minutes in both games vs Chelsea and Forest. He was back to his usual self and had good underlying data in these 2 matches- 5 Shots, 4 Big Chance Involvements, 1.61xGI and one goal.
Sarr has 4 goals, 1 assists from 14 appearances this season. Throughout the season, his underlying data is strong with 0.43xG/90(Highest among Midfielders), 0.68 Big Chances/90(4th among Midfielders).
Top Midfielders for xG/90 this season:

The next 6 fixtures look really good for Palace- BHA(A), BUR(H), WOL(H), MUN(A), TOT(A), LEE(H). While the home fixtures up next vs Burnley and Wolves are the best fixtures to target, This week’s fixture against Brighton is not bad either. Since GW14, Brighton have conceded the second most shots inside the box and have the 3rd worst xGC in the entire league.

Note: Sarr took the penalty last week vs Forest in the absence of Mateta. So Sarr should be the first choice penalty taker when Mateta is not on pitch. With Mateta staying the penalty appeal for Sarr has certainly gone down, but there could be situations where Mateta is subbed off early and Palace get a penalty after that.
Fun Fact: The last time, Ismaila Sarr played Brighton(A), Sarr got 2 Goals, 1 assist and registered a 18 point-haul.

Jarod Bowen vs Burnley(A), £7.6m, TSB: 9.0%
West Ham are 18th in the league and are 6 points away from safety at the moment. But the truth to be told, They have turned around a corner with new signings and have looked much better in attack. West Ham won vs Tottenham, Sunderland and had a 3-2 loss vs Chelsea in the last 3 games. They are in fact one of the best attacks over the last month in Premier League.
West Ham Attack Rank(Last 4 matches):
- Shots- 5th
- Shots inside the box- 4th
- Big Chances- 3rd
- xG- 6th
- Goals Scored- 4th
Bowen has 8 goals, 3 assists and 113 points from 24 starts this season and more importantly has 2 goals, 1 assist in the last 2 games. In fact, Bowen is the 4th Highest scoring FPL Forward this season- Only behind Haaland, Thiago and Pedro. He has also hit DEFCON 3 times this season. The next 3 fixtures for West Ham are excellent as they play BUR(A), MUN(H), BOU(H) in the next 3 fixtures. Burnley are the worst defensive team in the league- Ranked 20th for xGC, 19th for Big Chances Conceded and Goals Conceded this season. This is the game where West Ham will want to take the 3 points.

Bowen- The Bonus Point magnet:
Bowen has scored in 8 different games this season and in these games he has got 21 Bonus Points out of the available 24 Bonus Points. So whenever he scores, He either gets 3 or 2 Bonus Points.
Summerville is also another good differential option to consider if you are looking at cheaper route but Bowen is more consistent, reliable and has better underlying data as seen below.
Bowen vs Summerville- Last 5 games comparison:

James Garner vs Fulham(A), £5.2m, TSB: 4.5%
4, 2, 4, 6, 4, 16, 5, 4, 4– These are the returns of James Garner over the last 9 fixtures with only one blank. During this run, Garner got 1 goal, 1 assist, 5 Bonus Points and has got DEFCON in 8/9 games to fetch 49 Points. Only 5 Midfielders have taken more points than Garner during this time- Wirtz, Semenyo, Wilson, Cunha and Rogers. The others are expensive compared to Garner who is just 5.2 million.
Top Players for Defensive Contributions over the last 9 games:

So much has changed in FPL with DEFCON that these Budget Midfielders like Garner and Anderson are really good value picks. Garner is 8th for FPL Points among Midfielders this season and is Top for Midfielders priced at 6.0 and below.
Most FPL Points among Midfielders(6.0 and Below):

If you are looking for a cheap midfielder in the market, Look no further than James Garner who should continue to tick along with 4 pointers till the end of the season.

Chris Richards vs Brighton(A), £4.4m, TSB: 2.1%
Crystal Palace are themselves struggling for form after the departure of Guehi. They have kept only 2 clean sheets from the last 11 games. But now with transfer window closed- Mateta staying, Larsen signed, Munoz and Sarr back in action, Palace are likely to see some redemption along with a good fixture swing.
Chris Richards is the Budget FPL Defender who will tick along well considering his DEFCON potential. Richards has started 20 games and has hit DEFCON in 10 off these games. He averages 10.5 Defensive Contributions/90 this season- 5th Highest among all Defenders.
Top Defenders for Defensive Contributions/90 this season:

Palace play a Brighton side who have who have won only once in the last 11 league games. They have scored only 13 goals from these 11 games- 7th lowest during this time.
Brighton Attack Rank(Since GW14):
- Big Chances- 12th
- xG- 10th
- Goals scored- 14th
After playing Brighton this week, Palace play Burnley, Wolves and Leeds-All at home within the next 5 Gameweeks. Surely these fixtures should bring back the defensive form of Palace. Burnley, Wolves and Leeds all are ranked 20th, 19th and 12th for Expected Goals scored this season.

Ultra Differential Picks for FPL GW25 (Under 1 % Ownership)
Valentin Taty Castellanos vs Burnley(A), £5.5m. TSB: 0.1%
Not very often you see a 0.1% owned Differential with good underlying data and up against the worst defense in the league! When you see it, you got to take the opportunity and punt on. Presenting to you Valentin Taty Castellanos.
Taty signed for West Ham in January window and has started all 4 games since then. He has got only one assist, but more importantly improves how West Ham operate and their attack. West ham have scored 8 goals in the last 4 games compared to 8 goals in the 9 games before that. Taty also frees up space for Bowen and Summerville to be more involved. Taty’s underlying numbers are excellent.
Taty Castellanos- In Numbers
✅Most Shots inside the box(13) & 2nd Most Big Chances(4) in the league since his debut
✅3rd Highest for Non Penalty xG(1.7) over the last 4 games
✅West Ham are in Top 6 for xG, Big Chances & Goals scored since his debut
✅Burnley(A) up next– One of the worst defense in the league
For those who don’t know Castellanos scored 4 goals in a single game vs Real Madrid in 2022/23 season. So he is not new to Big stage and it will be only a matter of time before he converts the underlying data into FPL Points.

Madueke vs Sunderland(H), £6.8m, TSB: 0.8%
Saka got injured in the warmup before GW24 and is expected to be back only for GW27(via Simmon Collings). Up stepped Noni Madueke with a goal, assist and 14 point haul before he was subbed off at 60 minutes.
Madueke in GW24 vs Leeds:
- Minutes played- 60
- Goal Involvements- 2
- Shots- 1
- xGI- 0.3
- Chances created- 2
- FPL Points- 14

Madueke is expected to start at right wing once again vs Sunderland in GW25. Sunderland have exceeded their expectations this season but their away form is poor especially in defense. Away from home, Sunderland are in Bottom 5 for xGC and Bottom 10 for Big Chances conceded.
It’s not just the Saka injury that makes Madueke a good short term punt. After the midweek Carabao cup semifinals, we now have confirmed news that Arsenal will DOUBLE in GW26 vs Brentford(A), Wolves(A).
The only issue with Madueke is that even if he starts he usually plays only around 60 minutes. So have your expectations accordingly and punt on him if you are chasing ranks in your mini-leagues. Most managers will have the Triple up of Gabriel, Rice, Raya/Timber- Madueke will be the Differential to target ahead of GW25.
That’s it for Gameweek 25. We will be back with 6 More Differentials next Gameweek, where we will be hoping to get some positive returns from our current selected Differentials for Gameweek 25.

Greetings from Los angeles! I’m bored to death at work so I decided
to check out your site on my iphone during lunch
break. I enjoy the information you provide here and can’t wait to take a look when I get
home. I’m surprised at how quick your blog loaded on my cell
phone .. I’m not even using WIFI, just 3G .. Anyways, superb site!
The theme of “found family” is strong in this book, as the characters rely on their friends to get through difficult times. Alex and Ava’s relationship is the core, but the supporting cast is excellent. Reading the Twisted Love PDF introduces you to this group of friends. The banter between the characters adds levity to the darker moments. It is a story about the bonds we choose to make, not just the ones we are born into.

Great analysis, Srinivasan! Your track record with Cunha and Anderson last week was spot on, so I’m definitely looking at Bowen and Taty for GW25 to climb up my mini-league. I’ve been trying to find more niche data on player availability and some older rotation stats to back these differential picks, but I stumbled upon this archived discussion thread https://classic.comunio.co.uk/premier_league/external/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=11943&view=previous and it seems to be empty or broken on my end. Does anyone here know if they moved their player performance archive to a new URL, or is there a better “go-to” source you’d recommend for cross-referencing these ultra-differentials? Keep up the solid work!
