FPL GW27 Review
Another Gameweek with nothing at all across the board. The team had exactly 1 clean sheet and 2 assists in total, with blanks everywhere else. The team looked decent on paper, yet nothing to show for. Brentford attackers blanking, Enzo not doing much against Burnley at home, Bruno and Rogers blanking as well. The points are just not coming. Timber getting subbed off pre 60 minutes with an assist but also a yellow card, is problematic considering he also has a blank in Gameweek 31. There is a replacement in mind for Gameweek 28..
FPL GW28 Preview
The team again, looks fine on paper except for the Arsenal and Chelsea assets playing each other. 4 of my current players would be involved in the game and I feel like I need to minimize my exposure from it. Playing Andersen over Enzo is an option that I am considering. He faces Tottenham who have not been as bad away from home as they have been at home. Andersen still is likely to get points from Defcons at the very least and that alone might make me switch Enzo to the bench.
As for my moves, Timber to Van Dijk is the one I am considering at the moment. Van Dijk has some decent games coming up in WHU (H), WOL (A), TOT (H), BHA (A) until Gameweek 31 and looks to be well on form with 2 clean sheets, 2 goals and an assist in the last 5 Gameweeks. Couple that with the decent enough fixtures coming up, VVD seems like a good pick-up for GW28.
For captaincy, I am currently on Haaland as he plays Leeds away from home and City have a chance to catch up to Arsenal in the title race. However, Bruno is not off my mind at all. The decision will be made a bit later, especially when I have done the captaincy analysis in my article later.
