Welcome to the FPL Gameweek 22 Captaincy metrics blog. We are finally back for Gameweek 22 after a much-needed break from FPL after the congested festive period, with Haaland facing Manchester United away, Ekitike, who came back from injury, is preparing to face Burnley at home, and Bruno G will be travelling away at Wolves. Ekitike’s teammate, Wirtz, would also be hoping to add to his recent goal involvements, while Rogers would be relishing the game against Everton at Villa Park. Without further ado, let’s get into it and see who tops the captaincy metrics this week.
Total metrics points: 14 + 4 + 18 + 26 + 10 + 32 + 16 + 26 + 4 + 26 + 4 + 4 + 4 + 28 + 4 + 26 + 32 + 4 + 4 + 8 + 12 = 306 points
Note: “Returns” ~ player topping the metrics getting points returns and not necessarily the highest scoring option of the week.
