FPL GW22 Transfer Targets
Matty Cash – £4.8m – 10.8%
Despite a slow start, Aston Villa are having a great season and are looking like they will continue causing trouble at the top of the table. That’s why Matty Cash starts the FPL GW22 Transfer Targets list.
Villa’s fixture run is very hard to ignore, the only tough game they probably play till GW30 is away to Newcastle in GW23. While Cash’s numbers are not the greatest with him averaging 0.1xGi per 90 and has crossed Defcon threshold once this entire season. However he’s the top scoring defender for the Villa (and by some margin) and also maintains a high position.

He is also nailed and definitely has some attacking potential with 5 G/A this season with 3 goals and 2 assists. In addition to the fixture run, he is also just 4.8 million and could shell out some budget for more premium assets.
Matty Cash- Attack Rank among Defenders this season:
- Shots- 5th
- Shots on Target- 4th
- xA- 3rd
- xGI- 9th
- Goal Involvements- 6th

Bruno Guimarães – £7.2m – 21.9%
Bruno Guimarães has featured a few times in this FPL transfer targets list and he features again in the GW22 edition. His performances though make it hard to avoid him.
With 8 goals and 5 assists, Guimarães has already crossed his tally of 11 G/A from last season and is on the way to exceed his highest every total of 16 G/A for the Magpies. He has also crossed the Defcon threshold 3 times, while averaging 1.49 shots, 0.3 xGi and 1.5 key passes per 90.

3 of his 8 goals have come in the last 3 weeks, where he hit double digits thrice in a row. He is in great form and is priced very well for the amount of value he offers, couple that with Newcastle playing Wolves(H) this week, he is almost a must have.

Kroupi Jr. – £4.6m – 4.1%
4.6 million starting striker who averages a goal every 81 minutes sounds too good to be true. With Semenyo leaving for Manchester City and Justin Kluivert injured, Kroupi jr looks destined to get the game time he so thoroughly deserved.
Top Forwards for Goal Involvements/90 this season(Min 500 minutes):
- Haaland- 1.18
- Kroupi.Jr- 1.10
- Thiago- 0.87
- Ekitike- 0.79
- Calvert Lewin- 0.75
- Woltemade- 0.71
He had 22 goals in 23 games last season in Ligue 1 and currently boasts an average of 0.6 xGI, 2.82 shots, and 0.78 Big chances per 90 in the 584 minutes that he has played this season. With 7 goals already under his belt, he will travel to Brighton, Wolves and Everton in the next 5 games where we could see him score more.
A potential hidden gem for the next few gameweeks, get Kroupi jr. before he becomes mainstream.

Bruno Fernandes – £9.1m – 12.8%
Gameweek 21 saw the return of Bruno Fernandes from injury which led him to miss 3 games which included Newcastle(H), Wolves(H) and Leeds(A). Despite his first start since 21st of December, Bruno was back to doing what he does and got himself an assist in the 60 minutes that he played that day.
