The Differential Article had a bad week, where only 2 of our 6 picks returned with FPL Points. This week, we will be aiming to bounce back with some strong scores this Gameweek.
- Bruno Guimaraes – 1 Goal, 3 Bonus – 10 Points
- Matheus Cunha – 1 Assist – 5 Points
That makes it 34/90 Picks who have returned FPL Points from our picks this Season.
In this article, we will be highlighting 5 players who are less than 10% Owned and 1 Ultra Differential (less than 1% Owned) for all of you as of Thursday 11th December, 2025. There are many more whom you guys can consider if you decide not go with the 6 players mentioned below.

Top FPL GW16 Differential Picks
Joachim Andersen – Fulham – £4.6 Defender – 4.4 % TSB

- With a lot of defenders currently injured and some suspended, FPL Managers will be on the lookout to buy new Defenders. Enter Joachim Andersen. Only 2 players (Senesi & Tarkowski) have got more Defcon points than Andersen’s 18. He averages 10.92 Defensive Contributions per 90.
- Fulham now enter a very good run of 3 Fixtures where they face Burnley, Forest, and West Ham. All 3 of these teams are in the Bottom 4 for Goals scored this season, as well as Big Chances, which increases Andersen’s Clean sheet value.
- Andersen has also been quite good from an attacking perspective in the past. Last season, he got 5 attacking returns, and so far this season, he has had 5 Shots in the Box, 1 Shot on Target. He has also created 1 Big Chance and played 4 key passes for his teammates. An attacking return could well be on its way.

Cole Palmer – Chelsea – £10.3 Midfielder – 9.9 % TSB

- Palmer, so far, has had an injury-ravaged season. However, with 29 and 57 minutes in the last 2 Gameweeks and a night off in the Midweek Champions League game, he should be good for a start against Everton. We know what Palmer is capable of when he is fully fit. He is Chelsea’s talisman, is on set-pieces and penalties, and has multiple avenues to points.
- So far, he has had only 1 Goal in 3 Starts, so his stats will not be great. But his historical capability should not be written off. He hauled in the same fixture in 2024 with 4 Goals, and even if he bags a single goal, expect his ownership to rise with the 5 Free Transfers FPL Managers have.

Harry Wilson – Fulham – £5.3 Midfielder – 3.0 % TSB

- Say it quietly, Wilson has been having a great season so far. With 4 Goals and 3 Assists already, he has nailed down his place in the Fulham lineup. He has started 12 Games so far this season. Over the last 3 games, he has scored 2 Goals and 2 Assists and got 26 FPL Points. Wilson has 8 Shots on Target, 16 Shots in the Box. He has also created 12 key passes for his teammates.

- Wilson has a share of set-pieces, and with his goal threat from open play, he looks a great short-term buy as Fulham sit top of the fixture ticker for the next 3 Gameweeks. Wilson also been the most attacking player in the Wolves team after Raul Jimenez in terms of attacking positions.
- Burnley are the 2nd worst team for conceding headed attempts, something which could help Wilson with his share of set pieces. Burnley are also ranked the Bottom or 2nd Bottom team for all defensive metrics so far this season. This could be the perfect week to get Wilson in your FPL teams.

Nathan Collins – Brentford – £4.9 Defender – 1.2 %TSB

- With Brentford starting their great run of fixtures against Leeds and Wolves, this week seems to be the entry point for FPL Managers grabbing Brentford assets. With a lot of defensive injuries, Collins could emerge as a good option (provided he does not pick up a 5th Booking and get suspended). Collins is a great option for Defcon points as he has got them in 8 of the 15 Games so far this season. He averages around 10.44 Defcon per 90 minutes.
- What makes Collins more appealing is his goal threat from set pieces, something which Brentford thrive of. He got 2 Goals and 7 Assists last season and is yet to score or assist this season. Some could say he is due a big haul as he has had 8 Shots in the Box, 3 Shots on Target, and 3 Big Chances. He has also created 2 Big Chances. That haul could be coming soon.
- Wolves sit in the Bottom 3 for most attacking metrics and have scored the fewest Goals in the League (8), while Leeds have been terrible away from home. Leeds are ranked the 4th-worst team in terms of xG away from home and have only scored 6 Away Goals so far this season. Combine this strong Clean Sheet potential with Defcon and Attacking threat, and Collins could be a strong pick to own for the next few Gameweeks.

Dango Ouattara – Brentford – £6.0 Midfielder – 1.5 % TSB

- Ouattara will be a 1-week punt as he will depart for AFCON after this Gameweek. Ouattara has established himself in the team after Gameweek 8 and has started all the matches since then. He has 3 Goals and 4 Assists this season and has even picked up Defcon points in 2 Games. He averages a healthy 8.16 Defensive Contributions per 90, which is quite good for a wide attacker.
- Ouattara recently hauled against Burnley at home, and he could do the same against Leeds this Gameweek. He has a knack of winning penalties for Thiago, and Brentford do win a lot of penalties. Additionally, Leeds really struggle away from home and have conceded the 3rd most Goals (29) this season.
- Ouattara has good stats with 7 Shots on Target, 20 Shots in the Box. He has been involved in 8 Big Chances. He has created 3 Big Chances for his teammates and has played 6 key passes for his teammates.

Ultra Differential Picks for FPL GW16 (Under 1 % Ownership)
Piero Hincapie – Arsenal – £5.4 Defender – 0.9 % TSB

- Arsenal have been ravaged by Defensive injuries over the last few Gameweeks. Gabriel and Mosquera picking up a long-term injury, Saliba & Timber picking up knocks, and Calafiori suspended, it makes Hincapie’s spot in the team a lock for the next few Gameweeks. Hincapie has started the last 4 Gameweeks and has picked up Defcon in the last 2 Gameweeks.
- Even with all these injuries, Arsenal’s defence is solid and will face a Wolves side which has yet to win a single game this season. Wolves have only scored 8 Goals this season. Wolves sit in the Bottom 3 for most attacking metrics, and this should make a Clean Sheet a lock for Arsenal, unless there are any major scares in the game.
That’s it for Gameweek 16. We will be back with 6 More Differentials next Gameweek, where we will be hoping to get some positive returns from our current selected Differentials for Gameweek 16.
