- Bradley is doubtful after enduring an injury in the first period against Tottenham.
- Slot on Bradley: “Conor will be 50-50 [for the game against Wolverhampton Wanderers on December 27]. He’s not training with us today, not tomorrow, so Friday we will see exactly where he is [and] if he can be in the squad for the weekend.”
- Gakpo has been sidelined since the Leeds draw at the start of the month, where he picked up a muscle issue. There is a chance he could return this gameweek, with Slot comparing his situation to that of Bradley’s.
- Joe Gomez (muscle) and Wataru Endo (ankle) will remain unavailable for this Saturday’s Wolves clash, Slot revealed in his presser.

- Dan Burn is out for up to 6 weeks after suffering a broken rib and punctured lung against Sunderland in GW16.
- Sven Botman and Trippier are out.
- Howe on Botman: “Sven will be in the category of the group of players that are doing well. We hope to get him back pretty soon. When that day is, I’m not 100% sure. He hasn’t trained with the group yet, but potentially good news. We don’t think he’s too far away.”
- Nick Pope is nearing a return and could potentially be available to face Man United on Boxing Day.
- Howe on Pope: “There’s a chance [he’ll be in the squad]. He hasn’t trained yet, but we hope he might train today, so let’s see how he does.”
- Howe on Jacob Ramsey’s display against Chelsea: “That was his best game for us, against Chelsea. Athletically, very good and some of the numbers he produced in that game were elite in terms of the benchmark for midfielders, so I think that’s a great sign.”
“The challenge for JJ has been, since his injury at Leeds, where he twisted his ankle, he had momentum then and had to start all over again. I think he’s just returning to his very best levels. I think the next step for him is to start impacting in the final third with goals and assists.”
