Arsenal
Arsenal GW15 Predicted formation:
- 4-2-3-1
Arsenal GW15 Predicted lineup:
Raya
White – Timber – Hincapie – Calafiori
Zubimendi – Odegaard
Saka – Eze – Martinelli
Merino
Notes/Injury Updates:
- Rice was forced off in the final stages of Arsenal’s 2-1 win over Brentford midweek and it is uncertain whether the England international will be available this weekend. He will be assessed ahead of Saturday’s game against Aston Villa.
- Arteta on Rice: “Letโs see. I think with all the questions I’m going to get, the answer, unfortunately, is going to be the same. We have another training session in the afternoon. Every hour is going to be very important to see the availability of the players. After that, we’ll decide which ones [are available].”
- Mosquera is the latest to join Arsenal’s growing injury list after appearing to endure an ankle injury against Brentford. He is out for this weekend, along with Gabriel, leaving Arteta with a dearth of options in defence. Timber is expected to start as CB, with White starting at RB.
- Arteta on Mosquera: “That’s the one that is more complicated. But again, we have another test today to see where we are with them.”
“No [I’m not worried about his fitness], we need to know, because the feeling that we had after the game and yesterday, we need to corroborate with other testing that we do today.” - Trossard picked up a calf injury against Bayern Munich last week, while Saliba is nursing a hamstring issue, but the pair should return soon, according to Arteta.
- Arteta on Trossard and Saliba: “It is a matter of days with those two, for sure.”
- Gyokeres recently returned to action after his muscle injury, but Arteta has continued to start Merino over the Swedish forward in the No.9 position. The Spaniard is expected to keep his place in the starting lineup against Villa.
- Arteta on Merino and if he will still be considered a striker when all strikers are fit: “I think he has earned at least the thinking behind it with the way heโs performing and the impact that heโs bringing to the team, so thatโs a yes.”
“Yeah [he’s grown into that position], and they are playing together, even with Viktor, it can be with Gabi [Jesus], and there are things that we have prepared during the summer because of the squad that we have, and so far we havenโt been able to do.” - Arteta on Havertz’s progress after their 2-0 win over Brentford midweek: “Matter of weeks; letโs see how it evolves in the next few weeks. Heโs doing really well, heโs doing stuff on the pitch, but I think he needs some time.”

- Watkins is expected to keep his place in the starting XI after bagging a brace in Villa’s 4-3 win over Brighton this week.
- Emi Martinez missed the Brighton clash due to a back injury, Emery revealed post-match, and the Argentinan is a doubt for Arsenal. He is set for a late fitness test to determine his availability.
- Emery on Martinez: “We will train this afternoon, he didnโt train yesterday, but itโs very important for him, how he is passing the hours feeling better. Until the last moment, I donโt know if heโs going to be available or not for tomorrow.โ
- Mings is out for at least a month more with a hamstring injury.
- Barkley is out for 8-12 weeks after sustaining a grade 2 knee sprain against last weekend (via The Athletic’s Jacob Tanswell):

Bournemouth
Bournemouth GW15 Predicted formation
- 4-2-3-1
Bournemouth GW15 Predicted lineup:
Petrovic
Jiminez – Senesi – Diakite – Truffert
Brooks – Scott
Tavernier – Kluivert – Semenyo
Evanlison
Bournemouth Team News & Key Notes:
- David Brooks will return to contention against Chelsea this weekend, having missed this week’s defeat to Everton after accumulating 5 yellow cards. He should start in place of Tyler Adams, who in turn is sidelined through suspension after picking up a 5th yellow card against the Toffees.
- Lewis Cook is also suspended for GW15.
- Ryan Christie and Ben Doak are out.
- Iraola on the Scottish duo: “The two Scottish players are going to be out as you know.”
- Senesi has returned from suspension after 5 yellow cards and should return to the starting XI – great news for Iraola, who revealed in his pre-Chelsea presser that Veljko Milosavljeviฤ is most likely out due to a knee injury.
- Iraola on Milosavljevic: “Also we have Veljko that we have to check but I think it is going to be difficult until we do more assessments for tomorrow because in the game the other day he had some issues with the knee and I think for tomorrow itโs going to be difficult.โ
- Iraola on suspensions: “From the suspensions, that you know Tyler and Lew are out. Brooksy and Marcos are very important players for us โ what we have now with the suspensions and injuries probably we will struggle more in the midfield. We will have to find players not only to start but even for the subs and we will have to see how we can deal with this but this is something that will happen to all the teams and we will have to adapt.โ

- 4-2-3-1
Brighton GW15 Predicted lineup:
Verbruggen
Wieffer – Van Hecke – Dunk – Kadioglu
Baleba – Hinshelwood
Minteh – Rutter – D. Gomez
Welbeck
Brighton Team News and Key Notes:
- Stefanos Tzimas endured a knee injury against Aston Villa midweek and is out for a long period.
- Hurzeler on Tzimas ahead of West Ham: “I don’t have great news today. We have to further assess Stefanos, but at the moment it looks like a long-term injury. We will find solutions and we wish Stefanos a quick recovery. We have to further assess him so I can’t give you a clear schedule and a clear injury [diagnosis]. He had a scan, but there’s still some things we have to clarify. He will be out for months rather than weeks.”
“I spoke to him quickly after the game and had a message with him yesterday [Thursday]. I havenโt seen him yet. He’s a strong character. He will come back stronger than he is now. It’s a bad moment for him, but I always hope that the player has an understanding of how to use this time to get better, to strengthen. I’m quite sure that this environment here really will help him. His teammates will help him, the staff members will help him. Everyone is there to help him make a quick recovery. Hopefully we see him back on the pitch soon.โ - Rutter missed Brighton’s midweek clash against Villa after being hit in the face by the ball against Forest last weekend. While he was unavailable against Emery’s men, he will return to contention this weekend.
- Hurzeler on Rutter: “Georginio should be an option for Sunday. He’s back in non-contact training.”
Huzeler on Tommy Watson: “The same for Tommy. I hope that he will train today with the team. I hope that they’re both options.” - Ayari missed Brighton’s midweek fixture with a muscle injury but there’s a chance he could be available this weekend, according to Hurzeler.
- Hurzeler on Ayari: “I hope that Yasin is available on Sunday. Weโre not sure yet, but there’s definitely a chance that he’s available.”
- Mitoma appears to be nearing a return, having trained for 2 days this week, and he could feature this weekend against West Ham.
- Hurzeler on Mitoma: “Kaoru is still an option. Let’s see if he’s able to train today. He has come back into our training sessions. He had a small setback during a training session, not a big one. So hopefully he can train and then for sure we try to make him available as quickly as possible.
- Adam Webster and Solly March are still out.

Yarmolyuk – Henderson – Damsgaard
Thiago – Schade
Brentford team news:

- Andrews on squad rotation: “I have zero concern about making changes, itโs needed at times because itโs a long season. You donโt achieve anything with 11 players. The feel of the group needs to be fresh. Every player needs to feel involved in the process on a day-to-day basis. To see the way we approached the game the other night, which was fearless, was very pleasing but not surprising.โ
- Antoni Milambo and Fabio Carvalho are out for the season.

- Branthwaite, Rohl, and Coleman are out.
