FPL Season (25-26) Till Now
It has been a solid season till now for me, especially the last couple of months. With 10 green arrows in the last 12 Gameweeks, I have climbed up from 1,832,467 in the world in Gameweek 6 to 82,753 after Gameweek 17. The climb was mostly fueled by solid chips planning (WC6, BB11, FH13 and TC17 on Haaland) and calculated risks to stay ahead of the curve in the run-in. The goal is always to be in the top 100k by GW19 and hopefully, I will be able to stay inside the line in two Gameweeks time!

FPL GW17 Review

With a strong Gameweek rank of 389k, I was able to more than half my Overall rank (from 172k to 82k). Triple Captain Haaland helped massively of course, as it was the highest points I have ever gotten from my TC chip.

Semenyo (7.6m) in for Anderson (5.4m) for a FT worked out well and the defence doing its job with 32 points from 5 players at the back! Bruno injury was not ideal and I have already committed my moves to fix the issue…
FPL GW18 Transfer Plans
I started GW18 with 3 FTs and 1m in the bank, and after the Bruno injury, I have already made 2 moves on Monday evening, to fix the team for the mid/long term. I transferred out Bruno Fernandes and Thiago to bring in Cunha (8.0m) and Ekitike (8.9m) before his price rise on Tuesday morning.
I prefer to do my moves on Friday evenings/Saturdays but I was being priced out, and if I had not moved early, it would have taken at least 1 more move elsewhere to be able to afford these. I was very much set on both Cunha and Ekitike and decided to risk it with early moves. I would have also looked at Andersen (4.6m) to Keane (4.7m), since Andersen’s fixtures are soon turning rough and Everton are going on a very good fixtures run (BUR (H), NFO (A), BRE (H), WOL (H)), but I do not have any money left to make the move. Captaincy would be decided in due course when I dig into the Captaincy Metrics later in the week. The GW18 Team looks like this for now (Tuesday afternoon).
