Top FPL GW12 Differential Picks

Matheus Cunha – Manchester United – £7.9 Midfielder – 4.4 % TSB

FPL GW12 Differential Picks- Cunha
  • Cunha is the cheapest of the United midfield trio and has the lowest points so far. But his stats are impressive. He has had 10 Shots on Target and also played 10 key passes for his team-mates. He has 22 Shots so far and over the last 6 Games, only 6 Midfielders can beat him for Shots. Also he ranks 2nd for creativity among Manchester United players.

Most Shots on Target among Midfielders this season:

  • Mbeumo- 14
  • Semenyo- 14
  • Enzo- 11
  • Cunha- 10
  • Cunha will now go on a good run of fixtures with Everton, West Ham and Wolves in the next 4 Gameweeks. Everton tend to struggle away from home and they are placed 14th for xGC on the road. Also they have not kept a single clean sheet on the road so far this season.
  • With Mbuemo and Amad leaving for AFCON shortly and Sesko injured for the next month, Cunha is a much more nailed option. He could even start up front until Sesko is back. Plus Cunha will fancy his chances of scoring against his former side Wolves twice before the turn of the year.

Ibrahima Konate – Liverpool – £5.4 Defender – 2.8 % TSB

FPL GW12 Differential Picks- Konate
  • Liverpool will now begin a dream run of fixtures as they will face Forest, West Ham, Sunderland, Leeds (twice), Brighton and Wolves before 2026. 5 of these are at Anfield where Liverpool tend to dominate games. While most would be selling Gabriel for Van Dijk, for those who have less funds, Konate offers a decent alternative.
  • Konate ranks 3rd for Defcon behind Szoboszlai and Van Dijk and he has crossed the threshold in 5 of the last 7 Gameweeks. He ranks 2nd for Clearances (66), Blocks (7) and Tackles (17) only behind Van Dijk. Liverpool have kept 2 Clean Sheets, conceded the 3rd fewest shots on Target and conceded only 5 Goals at Anfield which means that more Clean Sheets are coming.
  • Konate may not have got an attacking return yet and Van Dijk may be the more potent goal threat but Konate actually has more Shots in the Box (5), Big Chances (3) and even created 2 Big Chances (2) which is more than Van Dijk in all departments. Also both Forest and West Ham are ranked in the Bottom 4 for Headed shots and Set pieces, which could bring Konate his 1st attacking return soon.

Evanilson – Bournemouth – £7.0 Forward – 1.4 % TSB

FPL GW12 Differential Picks- Evanilson
  • Evanilson has so far had an underwhelming season with only 1 Goal and 1 Assist and missing 3 games due to injury. Bournemouth begin a good run of fixtures this week with a home game against West Ham. Bournemouth are a different team at home and are undefeated there. They now face West Ham, Everton and Burnley in 3 of the next 4 home games.
  • Evanilson’s stats are ok with 5 Shots on Target, 17 Shots in the Box and 4 Big Chances. Creativity wise he has played 10 key passes and created 1 Big Chance for his team-mates. West Ham are ranked in the Bottom 2 for Shots, Shots in the Box, Big Chances conceded, xGC and Goals conceded. They are also the 3rd worst team for Shots on Target conceded.

Dominik Szoboszlai – Liverpool – £6.6 Midfielder – 5.4 % TSB

FPL GW12 Differential Picks- Szoboszlai
  • Liverpool will now begin a dream run of fixtures as they will face Forest, West Ham, Sunderland, Leeds (twice), Brighton and Wolves before 2026. 5 of these are at Anfield where Liverpool tend to dominate games. With Salah too expensive, Wirtz and Gakpo fighting for 1 spot, Ekitike and Isak fighting for the Striker spot, its difficult to tap into the Liverpool attack for such a great run. Enter – Dominik Szoboszlai.
  • Szoboszlai is a perfect All Round player. He takes corners, set pieces and direct free kicks (scored a beauty against Arsenal). He has 7 Shots on Target, 2 Big Chances, played 16 key passes and created 2 Big Chances for his team-mates. He ranks joint 6th for Shots and chances created combined (37). He also has the chance of hitting Def-con having crossed the threshold in 4 of the 11 Gameweeks so far. Finally the most assuring thing is that he has played 90 minutes in all 11 Gameweeks, which is gold-dust during the busy Christmas period.

Chris Richards – Crystal Palace – £4.5 Defender – 3.5 % TSB

FPL GW12 Differential Picks- Chris Richards
  • Palace have a great run of fixtures coming up with 4 Games against the Bottom 5 (Wolves, Burnley, Fulham and Leeds) in the next 7 Gameweeks. Richards averages 10.6 Defcons per 90 and has crossed the Threshold in 6 of the 11 Gameweeks. He has also come close to crossing the mark on a further 4 occasions.
Richards is 3rd amongst defenders for DEFCONs this season, data from Fantasy Football Hub
  • At 4.5, he is the Cheapest Palace defender and a solid Gabriel replacement as his avenue for points is only from Clean Sheets and Defcon with very little attacking threat. Wolves are ranked in the Bottom 2 for Shots, Shots in the Box and Shots on Target. They have got the lowest number of Big Chances in the League and have scored the fewest Goals in the League (7). They are ranked in the Bottom 3 for xG and thus this week presents a great chance for all Palace defenders for a Clean sheet.

Ultra Differential Pick for FPL GW12 (Under 1 % Ownership)

Alejandro Garnacho – Chelsea – £6.4 Midfielder – 0.9 % TSB

FPL GW12 Differential Picks- Garnacho
  • Chelsea will face a Burnley team which is ranked bottom for all defensive metrics such as Shots conceded, Shots in the Box conceded, Shots on Target conceded, Big Chances conceded, xGC. They have also conceded the 3rd highest number of Goals in the League (22). Burnley have also conceded the most number of shots from their right side and this is where Garnacho will play, should he start.
  • Garnacho got 2 Assists in his last game for Chelsea against Wolves and also got a goal against Sunderland in Gameweek 9. He seems to Maresca’s preferred starter now. He has had 4 Shots on Target, 3 Big Chances, played 6 key passes and created 3 Big chances for his team-mates. With such an enticing fixture this Gameweek, Garnacho could continue his momentum of attacking returns.

That’s it for Gameweek 12. We will be back with 6 More Differentials next Gameweek where we will be hoping to get some positive returns from our current selected Differentials for Gameweek 12.
