FPL Draft with Haaland, Salah, Kane, Jesus, TAA, James

FPL Managers have been busy tinkering with their drafts and with the number of good options, this year makes everyone wants to have the maximum number of premium assets in their FPL team. This year with an early WC available, going all out with premiums in the initial few gameweeks is not a bad idea. In this blog, we take a look at an FPL draft with Haaland, Salah, Kane, Jesus, TAA, and James. Basically a threemium draft plus the likes of Jesus, TAA, and James. This is not only just a GW1 draft but also how the team would look like till GW8 with a few planned transfers which would give you an overview of the viability of a threemium team structure.

FPL Three Premium Draft(Salah, Kane and Haaland) along with TAA, James and Jesus

Gameweek 1:

FPL GW1 Three Premium Draft with Haaland, Salah, Kane, Jesus, TAA, James — Budget is 100 Million

Captain choice for GW1: Salah, Kane, Haaland, Jesus

Pros of the draft:

Solid defence in two premium defenders and three attacking fullbacks
Front three of Jesus, Kane, and Haaland.
Salah is the big man in the midfield.
No player in the starting 11 will face the top six, three players would face promoted teams including captain choice Salah.
Neto(5.5) is another option to consider if you are not confident with Fornals.
Fornals can be upgraded to 6.0 mid like Bruno Gumaires or Martinelli by making the 0.5 from down-grading a 4.5 defender(Tomiyasu/Jonny) to Neco Williams.
You can potentially reduce one 4.5 defenders to 4.0 defender and upgrade one of Bailey/Dewsbury-Hall.

Cons of the draft:

Going all out in the forward line means reliance on budget midfielders.
Midfield might look weak but pre-season friendlies should give us some more good budget options.

Gameweek 2:

FPL GW2 Three Premium Draft with Haaland, Salah, Kane, Jesus, TAA, James

Captain choice for GW2: Salah, Haaland

Haaland a prime captain choice for GW2 facing a promoted side Bournemouth at home.
Fornals could be played for one of the defenders if needed as he faces another promoted side in Nottingham Forest. Can also be played in place of Bailey if it looks like Bailey won’t start.

Gameweek 3:

FPL GW3 Three Premium Draft with Haaland, Salah, Kane, Jesus, TAA, James

Captain Choice: Haaland, Kane, Jesus

A slightly tricky week with Liverpool playing Man United.
The budget mids all have a good game with Fornals playing Brighton, Andreas Pereira playing Brentford, Bailey playing Palace, and Dewsbury hall playing Southampton.
Except for Salah and TAA no one plays the top six in GW3.

Gameweek 4:

FPL GW4 Three Premium Draft with Haaland, Salah, Kane, Jesus, TAA, James

Captain choice for GW4: Salah, Kane, and Jesus

A box office gameweek with Salah, Jesus, and Kane all playing promoted teams and have the potential for double-digit hauls.
The entire defence plays at home which boosts CS potential.

Gameweek 5:

FPL GW5 Three Premium Draft with Haaland, Salah, Kane, Jesus, TAA, James

Captain choice for GW5: Haaland and Salah

None of the 11 players face a top six side in GW5.

Gameweek 6:

GW6 Captain choice: Salah, Kane

One planned transfer to get Tripper for Cash(Aston Villa fixture turn in GW6)
You could also roll a transfer from the previous week to move Tomiyasu to another defender.

GW7 Captain choice: Salah, Jesus

One planned transfer to get Dunk for Jonny(Wolves play Man City and Liverpool back to back in GW7 & GW8)

GW8 Captain choice: Kane, Haaland

Good fixtures for three out of the four budget midfielders with Andreas Pereira, Bailey, and Fornals are all good options.
