One of the diverse range of captaincy candidates this week and the votes show the same with multiple players getting a good number of votes. The top five on the poll that we’ll be analyzing in this FPL GW28 Captaincy metric blog are Salah, Mount, Rudiger, Coutinho, and Raphinha. Unfortunately, we cannot analyze all the options on the poll!

Fixture Difficulty of the candidate team in FPL GW28
We will use Drafthound’s odds for a Team scoring at least One goal in the Gameweek and the Odds of Scoring more than 2.5 goals in the Gameweek as a whole. You can check out the same as well for free on Drafthound along with fixture analysis, predicted analysis, and more.
The Chelsea boys dominate the odds metrics as they have a great double against Burnley and Norwich.
Projections Rank of our FPL Gameweek 28 Captain Picks
In the Fourth Phase of the article, We have used the Anytime Returns and Projected Points Tools available at Fantasy Football Hub.
Once again the projections are in favor of the Chelsea boys due to their easy double gameweek fixtures. Raphinha is ahead of Countinho in the projections which is quite interesting!
Conclusion – Final Rank from our FPL Gameweek 28 Captaincy metric analysis
It’s a three-way tie at the top of our metrics with Coutinho, Rudiger, and Mount all topping it, something that has never happened before. Interestingly Salah comes behind the double gameweek gang!
Author’s note:
We would prefer Rudiger as the best option amongst the trio simply based on the fact that Rudiger is rotation free, has two good games. Mount whereas is slightly a rotation risk with Chelsea having all attackers available. Coutinho meanwhile doesn’t have great individual numbers and owning him should be enough in our opinion.
Unfortunately, we cannot run all the options on the poll into our metrics. But we are hopeful of a solution in the near future, stay tuned!
